Located in Haut-Vaucluse, Beaumes-de-Venise is known for its vineyards from which the Muscat grape comes. The delicious dessert wine is made from this grape. Life in the village takes place around an open central square with lively squares, fountains, shops and cosy terraces.

You are in an area where there is plenty to do. There are many cycling and hiking routes to, for example, the impressive mountain "Mont Ventoux" and "Les dentelles de Montmirail". Mont Ventoux is probably the most famous cycling mountain for many after Alpe d'Huez. Besides the cycling routes, there are also beautiful hiking possibilities.
