About the accommodation
White sofa set, rustic sideboard: at Casa Fior di Loto you can enjoy many contrasts. This is exactly what makes a Ticino holiday home. It doesn't have to be too perfect, but it has to be cosy so that young and old feel at home here. The beautiful variety continues around the house: stroll barefoot across the meadow, cool off on the stone benches, barbecue under the pergola and enjoy a view that takes your breath away. With so much variety, our guests sometimes forget that there is also so much to discover in the surrounding area (the house is located at the entrance to the Verzasca Valley) and that the most beautiful hiking, biking and suspension bridge trails start right on the doorstep. To cut a long story short: You can't get bored at Casa Fior di Loto.
For our younger guests who don't yet have both feet firmly on the ground, be careful when climbing the stone steps around the house.

Room layout
On the first floor is the open-plan living and dining area with a huge sofa to put your feet up and an adjoining terrace. The kitchen and a small bedroom with a double bed lead off the living room. On the ground floor there is another larger bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and balcony.

Excursion possibilities: Activities and experiences
- Overcome your fear of heights on the 728 planks of the "Ponte Tibetano" suspension bridge.
- Walk across the Roman bridge "Ponte dei Salti" and cool off in the Verzasca.
- Take in the view of the highest and lowest point in Switzerland on the local mountain "Sassariente".
- Relive the scene of the incredible bungee jump from "Goldeneye" on the Verzasca dam.
- Visit one of the beautiful festivals and markets in Ascona and Locarno.
- Enjoy the legendary porcini mushroom risotto and the view of the Magadino plain at the "Osteria Bellavista".
- Indulge in sweet idleness - in the garden or under the shady pergola behind the house.

Location description: Location and connections
Gordemo is situated on a south-facing slope covered with chestnut trees and vineyards directly at the entrance to the Verzasca Valley. Shopping facilities are about ten minutes away by car in Tenero or Gordola. Locarno and the lakeshore can be reached just as quickly. Travelling by car is recommended. There is a covered car park directly in front of the house.
