About the accommodation
The authentic rustico was built by hand by the original owner Nonno Milton using traditional granite stone construction methods and, as the Ticino people like it, is not quite perfect. A cool breeze blows through the unplastered walls in the autumn and winter months. Even the odd tiny creepy-crawly finds refuge here and there. On the other hand, you live in the midst of unspoilt nature and can make yourself cosy in front of the fireplace or stove in the living area on cool evenings. There is no electric heating here.

Room layout
The cosy living area with sitting area and open-plan kitchen is located on the ground floor. The staircase to the first floor leads up to the wood-panelled bedroom, which is furnished with two double beds. Rustico Nonno Milton also has two bathrooms.

The accommodation is situated on a sunny, quiet hillside above the municipality of Cavergno. The village centre with post bus stop, butcher's shop, authentic bar and pizzeria can be reached on foot in five minutes. Locarno is 30 minutes away by car.
