In the immediate vicinity of Pärnävaara sports center and close to services of Joensuu city center.

15 km to the northwest from Joensuu, lake Jyrinjärvi 20 m (0.3 km²), steep slope to the beach (stepped stone path with railing ), sand bottom, pontoon pier, 4-5 m shallow and then deepens quickly, water depth at the end of the pier is about 2 m.

Yard area: pine terrain (no lawn) in accordance with the natural type. This option is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the steep terrain.

2.5 km distance to Pärnävaara sports center, with tens of kilometers of ski trails, hiking and cycling trails for both winter and summer cycling, as well as downhill cycling trails. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations).
