Cabin 8 is a two-bedroom cabin, a comfortable home base for families, friends, and couples traveling together who want to enjoy the beauty of Silver Lake while having the comforts of home.
With two full-sized beds, Cabin 8 gives you a little more room to spread out while enjoying a peaceful setting surrounded by trees and nature. The cabin includes a full kitchen, bathroom, linens, and kitchenware, so you can settle in, prepare your own meals, and enjoy your stay without having to pack everything from home.
Step outside and you'll find one of the best parts of Cabin 8: your own outdoor space. A lawn, picnic table, and fire pit are right in front of the cabin, creating an inviting place to sit back and enjoy the outdoors. Have your morning coffee on the lawn, enjoy lunch at the picnic table, or spend the evening relaxing outside and taking in the peaceful surroundings.
Cabin 8 also offers a view of Silver Lake, giving you a glimpse of the water and the natural beauty that makes the Resort special. The combination of trees, lawn, lake views, and easy access to the rest of the Resort makes this cabin a great choice for guests who want both privacy and convenience.
And because Cabin 8 is part of Silver Lake Resort, you don't have to simply look at the lake—you can get out on it.
Bring your own kayak, paddleboard, canoe, or other watercraft and launch it right here at the Resort. Or, if you prefer to travel light, rent one of our watercraft and spend some time exploring Silver Lake from the water. Paddle along the shoreline, enjoy the scenery, or simply find a quiet spot to relax and take in the view.

Silver Lake Resort traces its roots back to 1927, when the property first became a destination for people looking to enjoy the lake, the outdoors, and the beauty of the Mount St. Helens area. Over the decades, the Resort has been cared for and operated by a number of families, each adding its own chapter to the story of this special place.
Today, we are proud to continue that tradition as a family-run resort. In fact, we're already looking ahead to 2027, when Silver Lake Resort will celebrate its 100th anniversary! Nearly a century of families, guests, memories, fishing trips, campfires, boat rides, and time spent together—that's a pretty remarkable history.
