Petite Chabrenas

A lovely little cottage and David and Jenny were very friendly hosts..it is ideal if you want perfect peace as the area is very quiet. The only problem is that you need to watch your head due to low beams.

Excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chabrenas. The cottage was lovely and had everything you would need to make your stay comfortable including a well stocked kitchen. Our hosts were readily available should you have a problem and had plenty of information relating to the surrounding area. The cottage is situated down a quiet lane but within easy reach of pretty villages and towns with shops and supermarkets. In a nutshell, a perfect find!

Very friendly welcome by Jenny and David. The cottage is so beautifull and pretty. It feels like a warm coat. Comfortable and cozy and roomy enough for two. Everything is there and is functioning well. A beautiful secluded garden with enough sun- and shadowspots. Location is perfect, quiet and spacey. I can and will absolutely recommend this lovely cottage. Greetings from a very happy and relaxed holiday-go'er.

outstanding.perfectly organized.warm welcome, care and support

Cosy little hobbit-house, perfectly clean and equipped, lovely restored and decorated. Our hosts Jenny&David were like family/friends, from the first contact via email until our arrival through our whole holiday. Whatever we needed or asked for - Jenny&David are helpful, friendly and communicative. Our dogs were welcomed, too, which was the original reason of our booking. If you look for an absolut calm and cosy holiday home, equipped with everything you need, friendly care and wonderful calm nature (our first new year‘s eve without any fireworks at all! just silence!), lots of walks, superb views, little streams, unspoiled nature and lovely hosts with dogs welcome, go there! GÉNIAL. Propriétaires sympas, location calme , cheminée et petite flambée faite par les propriétaires pour nous accueillir. RIEN ne manque dans cette location, prix très abordable. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Charmante petite maison pour 2 personnes, bien équipée. Maison rénovée dans le style correzien avec beaucoup de bois. Le jardin est agréable. La propriete est dans un environnement est verdoyant et fleuri.

Très agréable petit cottage

Très agréable séjour passé dans ce petit cottage. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et à l'écoute de vos demandes. Seul petit bémol qui doit être pris en compte : les communications téléphoniques ne passent pas à l'intérieur de la maison, il faut sortir pour avoir de la réception. Et le wifi est très faible voire inexistant à certains moments de la journée et/ou de la nuit. Ceci est à prendre en compte en fonction de la raison de votre séjour.

Kleines, sehr hübsches, gepflegtes und gemütliches Häuschen in Chabrenas. Auch im Winter aufgrund des wärmenden Holzofens (und der Elektroheizungen) gut nutzbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfect peaceful break

Well equipped, cosy cottage, located in a beautiful part of France. The night sky alone would have been worth the journey. The fenced garden made staying with our dog easy.

Heerlijke locatie.

Alles wat beloofd wordt is waar. Mooi en gezellig ingerichte cottage, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en-heer. Talloze uitstapjes kunnen doen, ondanks de hitte. Ook onze hond heeft genoten als nooit tevoren. Zeer aan te bevelen locatie.

A delightful place to stay

David and Jenny are just the loveliest hosts. From the moment I booked they were so helpful and kind. They booked our dogs into the local vets for our home trip and booked us restaurants. The Petite Chabrenas gite was perfect and it was so great to actually have a proper enclosed garden for the dogs. The house was so clean had everything we needed and super comfy. If we ever visit the arae again we'd be back!!! Thank you for a great stay.

Ein zauberhaftes Cottage an einem verwunschenen im Limousin

Man träumt zu Hause immer von wundervollen Urlaubsdomizilen, aber in Chabrenas wird es eine zauberhafte Wirklichkeit. Bei den sehr sympathischen und zuvorkommenden Vermietern in einem gepflegten, rromantischen Cottage in einer weitläufigen, wild romatischen Lanschaft. Und das funktioniert hier alles bestens auch mit Hund! 10 von 5 Sternen!

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de deux semaines dans ce petit cottage, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Le petit jardin derrière est très agréable, avec tout ce qu'il faut (table, grand parasol, chaises longues, barbecue). David et Jenny qui habitent à côté sont charmants et à l'écoute en cas de besoin. Nous cherchions un lieu calme ayant un petit bébé de 6 semaines et nous n'avons pas été déçus - c'est là qu'il a fait sa première nuit complète ! A signaler toutefois, si cela est important pour des hôtes, que le wifi n'est pas très puissant, et que la literie n'est pas très ferme. Enfin, gare aux grands, les poutres apparentes, notamment dans la salle de bain, peuvent laisser quelques traces ! Mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de passer un bon moment

Les propriétaires sont très agréables et à notre service si besoin. Prestations de grande qualité. Dommage de ne pas avoir accès à la piscine.

Nous sommes très désolés que la piscine ne soit pas disponible pour ce gite. Malheureusement, les clients n’aiment pas partager une piscine avec d’autres clients et notre piscine est attachée à notre autre gîte qui peut accueillir 4 personnes. Nous avons de nombreuses demandes concernant la piscine partagée et bien que la piscine ne soit partagée qu’avec David et moi (qui ne nageons que deux ou trois fois par jour et jamais lorsque les clients sont autour de la piscine) - même cela peut causer des problèmes avec les réservations car les clients préfèrent une piscine qui n’est pas partagée du tout We are very sorry that the swimming pool is not available to this cottage. Unfortunately guests do not like sharing a pool with other guests and our swimming pool is attached to our other gite which sleeps 4. We have many enquiries regarding the pool being shared and although the pool is only shared with David and I (who only swim two or three times a day and never when guests are around the pool) - even this can cause problems with reservations as guests prefer a pool that is not shared at all
