Enjoy the beautiful Neufahrn (municipality of HohenschÀftlarn) in the south of Munich, 25 minutes from the city centre, with your family or friends. The spacious holiday flat is in a very quiet location right on the outskirts of the small village with 500 inhabitants and has great walking opportunities.
You are not far from Lake Starnberg and in the middle of the holiday region. All Bavarian excursion destinations, e.g. Garmisch, Neuschwanstein or Königssee and of course Munich are within easy reach.

The 90 mÂČ (970 sf) holiday flat with parquet flooring consists of:
- 18 mÂČ (195 sf) bedroom 1 with a comfortable 180 x 200 cm double bed with 2 high-quality mattresses plus a single bed 90 x 200 cm. On request, we can provide a travel cot for babies up to 2 years old.
- 14 mÂČ (150 sf) bedroom 2 with a queen-size bed 140 x 200 cm (for couples) plus a single bed 90 x 200 cm.
- The approximately 27 mÂČ (290 sf) dining and living area offers a high-quality leather sofa corner and a dining table for up to 6 people. Here is a 45 inch HD TV with all public programmes. No smart TV.
- Approx. 12 mÂČ (130 sf) kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. We guarantee a basic supply of oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper, flour, a large selection of teas plus coffee (with French pressing)
- The huge 35 mÂČ (375 sf) terrace invites you to relax with a dining area and additional seating. You have a wonderful view of the large garden, which is exclusively available to you. Children have plenty of space to play and are very welcome.
A washing machine and tumble dryer are exclusively available and can be used free of charge.
As is usual in Germany, the flat is equipped with central heating, which provides pleasant warmth even on the coldest days. An aircon is not available.
The entire flat is supplied with fast WiFi. The house offers continuous download rates of 50 to 100 Mbit/s. VOIP, video telephony and streaming are easily possible.
Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas. Parties and pets are not allowed. Of course you can hold family gatherings with up to 8 people (sufficient crockery is available).
The rental takes place in the name and for the account of the owners through the professional holiday home agency Schulte-Tigges GbR. The owners are travelling temporarily and will live in the house again afterwards. You will therefore enjoy a professional service in a private atmosphere with a lot of charm. The rental price includes 7% VAT. Accommodation invoices can be issued (please request).
Access for guests
The flat is self-contained and comprises the entire ground floor of a two-family house. The entire ground floor is at your disposal. The laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is accessible to you in the basement. There are also locked, inaccessible storage rooms. You live in a village neighbourhood in a typical Upper Bavarian village with around 500 inhabitants.
A very open-minded, friendly family with very young children live on the upper floor as permanent tenants. Please be considerate of them from about 8 pm. The neighbourhood is very quiet. Accordingly, we ask you not to play music or make noise in the garden after 8 pm. Sitting together quietly with normal conversation on the terrace is wonderful and of course does not disturb anyone.
We recommend travelling by car. There is a bus stop within walking distance with a bus that only runs every hour or so from Starnberg (S-Bahn) to HohenschÀftlarn (S-Bahn) and back. You can park your car at both S-Bahn stations and take the suburban train to Munich every 20 minutes in 25 to 30 minutes.
It takes about 25 minutes by car from the holiday home to Munich city centre. The motorway access is only about 1 km from the holiday home.

The village just 25 minutes from Munich city centre
Neufahrn has around 500 inhabitants and is part of the municipality of HohenschÀftlarn in the district of Wolfratshausen/Bad Tölz. Neufahrn is located approx. 1 km from the motorway exit "HohenschÀftlarn". The area around Neufahrn is mainly home to horse farms. Walks are possible in all directions. Even though it is only 25 minutes to Munich city centre, you should take some time to explore Neufahrn itself. It's worth it!

We recommend travelling by car (2 parking spaces are reserved for you on the property). By car you have the greatest possible flexibility for all the destinations mentioned. To the city centre of Munich (especially during the Oktoberfest) we recommend travelling by car to the S-Bahn station SchÀftlarn and then about 30 minutes by S-Bahn every 20 minutes to the city centre.
