Welcome to the luxurious Grande Apartment No. 4 of the Roosevelt Stadthaus. This unique retreat, located on the top floor of our magnificent Wilhelminian style building, leaves nothing to be desired and offers discerning guests the highest level of comfort and elegant furnishings. The location is both quiet with a view of the garden and central - right next to the Votive Church and close to the Vienna Ringstrasse in the historic centre of Vienna.

The spacious, stylishly furnished living spaces of the flat are a true paradise for aesthetes and connoisseurs, where classic design meets modern amenities. High ceilings and spacious rooms create an elegant Viennese living atmosphere that leaves nothing to be desired. To ensure a comfortable and stylish stay, we placed particular emphasis on handcrafted details, fine furniture and high-quality fabrics during the renovation to harmoniously combine the historic charm of the hotel with modern comfort.

Facilities of the Grande Apartment
The Grande Apartment is located in our magnificent Wilhelminian-style building in the heart of the city, right next to the Votive Church on Rooseveltplatz. This elegant retreat offers space for two to four people and includes a fully equipped kitchen, a stylish living room, a dining room with balcony and a spacious bedroom with a 200 cm wide king-size double bed and a spacious wardrobe. A luxurious marble bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower as well as a separate WC provide additional comfort.

The spacious living room invites you to relax with comfortable sofas, which can be converted into sleeping areas if required, and cosy reading chairs. The technical equipment includes a 75-inch TV with Netflix, cable and satellite reception as well as Bose Bluetooth speakers and a collection of books about Vienna.

The dining room with direct access to a balcony offers a peaceful view of the green inner courtyard and garden. A cosy reading corner and a small house bar create an inviting atmosphere to linger and enjoy.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a Nespresso machine with milk frother (including Nespresso tabs and tea) as well as a dishwasher, oven, kettle, pots and pans - everything you need for a perfect cooking experience.

The bedroom has a large window front that can be completely darkened. The 200 x 210 cm bed offers maximum sleeping comfort. A spacious wardrobe and a separate wardrobe area offer plenty of storage space. The spacious marble bathroom can be accessed directly from the bedroom.

High-quality care products, fluffy towels and a hairdryer are provided. In the bedroom, a large wardrobe offers plenty of storage space, while blackout blinds ensure a restful night's sleep. A washing machine with tumble dryer function ensures flexibility for longer stays.

In the entrance area you will find a concierge book, which provides you with valuable information about your stay in the Roosevelt Stadthaus and offers exciting insights into Vienna's culture, history and gastronomy.

Bedroom
The generously proportioned bedroom has an extra-large bed (king-size) and a spacious bathroom. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the idyllic and peaceful garden through the impressive window front.

Dining room:
The dining room offers a large table, a well-stocked bar and a cosy reading corner. From here you have direct access to the balcony, which offers an idyllic view of the garden.

Living room:
The spacious, cosy living room invites you to relax with two large sofas, which can be converted into comfortable sleeping areas if required. A historic fireplace, a Venetian chandelier and a 75-inch smart TV provide stylish accents. You will also find a selection of books about Vienna, and fine furniture, high-quality fabrics and soft carpets give the room a particularly cosy atmosphere.

Cloakroom:
Right next to the entrance door is a spacious, walk-in cloakroom with plenty of room for coats, clothes and suitcases.

A perfect starting point for strollers and connoisseurs: in the immediate vicinity, the most beautiful sights such as the Hofburg, the shopping streets of the city centre, the Servitenviertel, the town hall, university and parliament as well as the most important museums and art galleries can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

About us:
Roosevelt Stadthaus is not a hotel. Our guests appreciate the fact that we offer no annoying room service, no stressful breakfast times, no prying eyes in the lobby. But we also don't limit ourselves to impersonal check-in with a key code. We welcome you personally, even if your flight is delayed.

The townhouse has been in existence since 2016 and is family-run. The whole family loves travelling themselves, so we believe that we can cater to the needs of our guests very well.

A house with history
Situated in a historic 19th century Gründerzeit building, the Roosevelt Stadthaus looks back on a long history. The building in its present form was built in 1886 by the architect Emil von Förster.

The Viennese architect Adolf Loos designed several flats in the building, parts of which are still preserved today. Loos is recognised worldwide as one of the pioneers of modern architecture. Arthur Schnitzler was one of the prominent residents of the townhouse. Schnitzler lived here with his mother Louise from 1893 to 1911. On 15 April 1945, the first meeting of university professors to mark the reopening of the University of Vienna after the end of the war took place in the Institute of Egyptology located here.
