Fantastisk Lakefront Retreat-Relax, Föryngring: kajak kaj

Stig utanför din dörr för vacker utsikt över floden Tennessee vid sjön Chickamaugua. Njut av djurlivet i denna naturälskares paradis. Fågelskådningen är otrolig! Morgnar på baksidan är full av sina låtar. Fiska den mäktiga Tennessee-floden utanför bryggan i trädgården eller ta med din båt och hitta din egen speciella plats medan du utforskar floden på din fritid. Basfiskare från hela landet älskar fisket vid sjön Chickamaugua som ligger precis utanför bakdörren. Det finns kanoter, bellyaks och kajaker för dem som söker något icke-motoriserat äventyr på vattnet. Dock delas med huset intill. Gott om utrymme för att docka några fler båtar eller vattenskoter.

Inuti är det rymliga och fullt möblerade kök och vardagsrum vidöppen. Rummen är möblerade och känslan inuti är mycket mer än ett enkelt pensionat. Det stora sovrummet på huvudnivån har en dubbelsäng och eget badrum. Det finns två sovrum nerför trappan - ett med en full säng och en enkelsäng och det andra med en queen size-säng. Dessa två sovrum delar ett badrum. Sovrummen inkluderar också byråer och / eller garderober. En futon-säng i full storlek med minne-skummadrass ligger bakom kärleksstolen i bottenvåningen med en fantastisk utsikt över sjön. Det finns också ett halvt badrum från vardagsrummet på huvudnivån.

Oavsett om du besöker Chattanooga för semester, affärer, weekendresor, basturnering, familjeåterförening, högskoleavläggning, sightseeing eller något däremellan är en avkopplande destination som du säkert kommer att njuta av. Family Vacation

Great location. Quiet, close to Chattanooga, lake is gorgeous. Lots of deer and other wildlife in the area. Home is very roomy. Our family of 13 had plenty of space. View of the lake and it's deck are great. Some updating of linens would enhance the interior. Owner is great. Quickly and efficiently responded when we had any questions or issues. Family had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at this roomy house. It was nice to have the gradual sloped back yard right to the water for my elderly parents(90,86, and 80). We traveled with our parents, our adult children and our grandchildren (1month,2yr, and 7yr old). The dock was amazing and equipped with a row of lounge chairs to enjoy the lake! Our host was prompt in responding to any and all of my questions. Our only not positive comment would be that the 4th bedroom wasn’t a bedroom but a set of bunks with no door. We figured it out but our 80 year old mother took one for the team and stayed in it and shared the master bathroom facilities. This would not have been an issue if you have older children but we had babies so for us it was challenging .To sum it up, this is an amazing property with plenty of space to spread out and relax! Lake access is the best you could ask for. Plenty of room to dock our pontoon and fishing boat.

Large house right on the lake

The house was huge and in a beautiful location. It was great to be able to bring the dogs. The host left plenty of basic home supplies which was awesome. We enjoyed paddling around on the kayaks and hanging out on the docks.

Perfect place!

Jennifer’s house was perfect for all of our family. It had been almost 20 years since we had all been able to get together like that and we all had a blast. The kids loved the water and was out there playing and swimming in the lake. It was the perfect place for us to get together and enjoy being together again. Thank you Thank you!!

Great Stay

The property was awesome. Plenty of room for the 11 of us that went on our family trip. The lake was really low and that would have been good to know before we got there. But it was no big deal for us. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

60th Birthday Celebration

This was the perfect spot to be able to visit Soddy Lake, Chester Frost and Harrison Bay! It was great to be able to dock the boat and relax on the banks. It also had a perfect view of a quaint cove during a rainy day. Thank you Jennifer for a great experience!

Perfect location!!

Well laid out house with plenty of room for everyone. Loved the large living room and kitchen. Made it easy for our family to eat and visit together. The only problem we had was there are a lot of steep stairs with no hand rails which made it difficult for my elderly mom and uncles. Overall had a great time and would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the great view of the lake.

Perfect lake get away

Plenty of room for my entire family! Great vacation with the water to jump into since TN summers are Hot Hot Hot! Dropped in our jet skis in the lake using the ramp in the yard. Will return if available next year.

Perfect vacation

Everything was well stocked and there were water toys along with canoes kayaks and life vests. Property manager responded to any question or concerns almost immediately. Dock was carpeted which was outstanding for our 4 year old grandson for safety. It was also close to the water which was also great. Lots of wildlife to see and quiet cove with great views and relaxation was easy to achieve.

Happy 50th Birthday Party

Family and close friends stayed two days before the Big 50 party and two days after. The house could handle all 40 of us from parking, yard, lawn games as it was a garden party. When rain came the downstairs and upstairs accommodated all of us. We have rented before from this host and she always makes improvements and allows us to do just about anything within reason. Jennifer is very open to any suggestions and crazy ideas her renter may come up with. A new dock has been added after our last visit there and it is beautiful. If you have a boat docking is great! Would recommend this property to anyone.”

Nice house and location

The house and location is nice and the properly owner was very helpful. The only negative was that the house was relatively "spartan". For example, there was very little furniture in the main floor living area (could have used a love seat and more chairs), essentially nothing on the walls throughout the house, and bedrooms didn't have end tables or lamps. Again, the house was nice but could use a little remodeling.

Nice property but needs some work

Nice property and location with potential but needs some TLC and repairs made for water intrusion in basement. We were unable to stay when heavy rains caused basement flooding. Jennifer was very responsive and quickly refunded our money.

Escape to the Lake

Great home, easily traveled to, and easygoing rental neighbors. All of us met for Family Holiday celebration from Fl, Ga and IL. We had kids and dogs and adults. The home has two levels and plenty of room for us all. If I was pushed, i would say some of the furniture needs minor repairs but nothing major and we noticed this morning there appeared to be a water leak in front of the upstairs bathroom. We are thinking of renting again in August for a long weekend. Right on the lake lots of water toys and fun to be had! Thanks again

The dock was the winner

My granddaughters loved jumping off the dock. New dock lots of space. The mattresses on the bed in the master and the bedroom downstairs ,on the left after you came down the steps, were hard. I slept on the couch downstairs the last night and went home on Wednesday night instead of Thursday morning so I could sleep in my own bed. This is not meant to be mean, but helpful to the owner. I would rather someone tell me than someone not coming back because they didn't want to tell you that you really need comfy beds. We wouldn't come back but only because of the beds.

Family reunion

The owners of this property were highly responsive prior to our stay. I am always appreciative of that. The property layout was perfect for the number of guests we had and we had plenty of room to cook and enjoy dinner together. The kitchen is quite large and well stocked with a nice view of the lake. The only problems we encountered were minor and specific to our likes. The paddle boards for the ping pong table were in almost unusable condition, the dart board was broken and there was no option for live television. Therefore, watching football would not have been possible without our own streaming service. The ice maker did not work so it was necessary to keep a cooler of ice. However, overall, the home worked for our needs and is in a good location! It provides plenty of space as described. The location is very close to neighbors who seemed to keep an eye on us. 😂 We heard a few comments regarding our movements about the home while outside. Nothing negative, but we knew we were being watched.

I have lived in the Chattanooga area all of my life, but this location is my favorite by far. I love all the beauty and fun activities Chattanooga has to offer and don't ever see myself leaving. I'm glad to be able to share my piece of paradise with those looking to stay a little off the beaten path and need some time to unwind.
