There are cross-country ski runs in various directions in front of the house. In winter, the bus stop for the free bus is 5 minutes from the house. This bus takes you to the village of Sils-Maria and to the Furtschellas cable car. It is only a few minutes to the mountain railway and the lakeshore. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes shine with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.

And from there, 120 pretty sporty kilometres of pistes lead back down into the valley.
