OLD NAGS HEAD COTTAGE CHARM .... KORT VANDLA TILL STRANDEN

Parrot's Perch ligger på MP 6 3/4, "mellan motorvägarna". Denna SAT-SAT-stuga är perfekt för ett par, liten familj eller grupper som vill hålla ytterligare familj och vänner i närheten. Vårt hem, trots traditionen av Old Nags Head-stilen, är helt ombyggt och uppdaterat. Den här egenskapen är fräsch, ren och modern på insidan ... och ut sitter Parrot's Abborre i ett lugnt damm. Det är en utmärkt plats att sitta och koppla av på däcket för att titta på gäss, ankor och sköldpaddor.

Köket är fullt utrustat, helt ner till massor av kaffekrusar och vinglas. Det finns också ett strykjärn / bräde, hårtork och handdukar tillhandahålls utan kostnad, grundläggande bekvämligheter som tvål, pappersprodukter och papperskorgar som levereras vid ankomst. Ta med egna lakan.

Bekväma sittplatser i vardagsrum för en familj på 6.

Däck med utsikt över dammet är ett utmärkt ställe att få en solbränd mitten av dagen och tillagning på kvällen. Njut av verandan för kaffe och frukost på morgonen och är en utmärkt plats att sitta och prata på kvällarna. Vi erbjuder en grill- och klädlinje för våra gästs bekvämlighet.

Huset ligger på markplan så det har enkel åtkomst för dem som behöver färre steg.

Restauranger, shopping och biografer ligger inom gångavstånd. Det är snabb körning till det historiska Wright Brothers Memorial, golf, putt-putt, ljudåtkomst för vattensporter, Avalon Pier, Dare County Parks & Rec för basketplaner, tennis och lekplats. Wonderful, Parrot Perch!

Our family loved staying at Parrot Perch for our summer vacation this year! The house is adorable, clean, and has all the beachy vibes, just amazing! Feeding the turtles and wildlife were a highlight of the trip! Our dog loved the yard so much! Thank you, we can’t wait to come stay again!

Perfect vacation spot

We had a blast during our stay. The house was very accommodating for pets. I loved the gates on the porches, worked out well for our husky. Seeing all the wildlife in the morning was a huge plus. Location was awesome, close to the beach and across from the grocery store! We will be planning another stay there in the future.

Short Stay

going in we knew that we couldn’t stay the whole week. However Parrots Perch made the days we had a wonderful experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and was very comfortable. But is was the deck over the pond and the turtles and other wildlife that made our stay truly spectacular. We ate all of our meals at the cottage on the deck and leftovers and extra bread went to the permanent residents.

Family Vacation

This is the third time that our family of four has stayed at Parrot’s Perch and it has never disappointed! The house is wonderful and cozy and the kids always look forward to seeing the turtles. LOVED!

Great cozy cottage

Great "home away from home" feel. Beautifully decorated! Our daughters loved feeding the turtles each morning and evening. Conveniently located with just a short walk to the beach.

Very nice place

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to the Outer Banks and our stay at Parrots Perch. It was very nice and super clean. The only downside was the proximity to the main highway. However, we would stay here again if we visit OBX.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Parrots Perch. The place was the perfect size for me, my husband and our two dogs. The dogs really enjoyed watching the turtles. We hope to stay again.

Wonderful Family Getaway

My family really enjoyed our time here! The inside is cozy, and had everything we needed for a family of four (with two younger kids) to feel comfortable. Outside, we really enjoyed sitting on the patio to enjoy the pond and cool sea breeze. The turtles were a lot of fun, and after spending each day at the beach the outside shower was indispensable. Overall, it was a great place for our first OBX vacation.

Sweetest little cottage!

What a gem! Very romantic cottage with modern decor and amenities, well stocked and ready! Lagoon with turtles very charming, and big fenced-in yard for the family pet. We look forward to our next visit!

We LOVE this property!!!

This was our second time staying at the Parrot's Perch and we will definitely be back! It's a beautiful home and has everything we need for a lovely week at the beach! It's clean, cozy, and well-stocked. Our border collie loves the yard - it's perfect for throwing frisbee, our kids love the turtles and birdwatching, and my husband and I love the deck and swing, which are perfect for morning coffee and relaxing. We got to meet Debby, the property owner, this trip and she was such a delight! Our family feels so at home here and we just can't recommend it highly enough! From our perspective - it's the most perfect place in the OBX! We love it so much!

Wonderful place

We had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed. Comfortable and perfect for my boyfriend, our dog, and myself. The turtles and egrets in the pond were great to watch in the morning. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Another great stay

This was our fourth time staying at Parrot’s Perch. We just love the little cottage. Has all you need. We ate every meal outside on the deck. Grilled several nights and my little dog loved the backyard and the family of ducks that visited on the water often. The new furniture arrangement in the living room is much better and we watched the Olympics every night. Over the years we’ve seen the addition of the swing and the picnic table. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next. Thank you!

Pleased

Beautifully maintained cottage, spotless, and well stocked. The back yard and deck were favorite spots(for us and our pup) and enjoyed the gas grill. Feeding the turtles and birds added to the fun. Just a few blocks from the beach! Hope to visit Parrot's Perch again-highly recommend for small family/groups.

Perfect location!

We loved our stay at parrot's perch! The house is beautifully decorated and the perfect size for the two of us. We also loved that we could bring our dog and that the yard was fenced in. Everything was so convenient from the quick walk to the beach to all the brochures in the house letting us know all the fun experiences we could have. We're going to miss our little turtle neighbors swimming over to say hello everytime walked onto the deck!

Wonderful Stay

If we go back to the Outerbanks we will want to stay at OLD NAGS HEAD COTTAGE. The house was great and it was near the beach. The turtles were a lot of fun and the breeze on the patio was perfect. The only thing to be aware of is that it is near a very busy road and you can hear the traffic at times - we brought a sound machine and that helped significantly. Outside of that - the house was amazing and exceptionally clean.

Nice Little house

Small House. A little close to Rte 158 so you can hear traffic. Nice deck over pond though the pond was full of algae. Backyard is large and fenced in and well maintained. it is as advertised short walk to the beach. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our stay

Cute cottage

This was a clean, adorable, and cozy cottage. It was a little closer to the highway than we were expecting, but an easy walk to the beach and has an excellent yard for dinners, games for the kids and after beach relaxation. The deck over the water was a hit. The turtles were the main attraction for our kids. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We had a great time as did our dogs. The home is so comfortable and welcoming. The decor is stunning with a great beach feel. The turtles like dog food and the seagulls don't!! We would very definitely stay here again if available and recommend this home to others. We've been coming to OBX during Easter week for about 20 years.

We are Mike and Debbie both from Smithfield, VA and have vacationed and enjoyed the Outer Banks for many years.
So after renting 'Parrots Perch' when it came up for sale we knew we wanted it to become our second home.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Its location and single story 'Old Nags Head' cottage style fits our needs perfectly. The grass with NO sand cactus in the large back yard for pets and children was an added plus!! The deck off the kitchen allows quiet reflections while watching the area wild life enjoying the neighboring pond.
