Stonecote är en 5 tunnland stor egendom som byggdes 1920. Det är helt uppdaterat och professionellt inrett. Den har 7 sovrum och sover 16 i sängar. Huvudbyggnaden har ett gourmetkök med butlers pantry med 2 kylskåp, 2 väggugnar, 3 diskmaskiner, en Viking gas kokkärl, vin kylare och Carrera marmor diskar. Vardagsrummet har flera bekväma samtalsområden, en antik flygel och baby spis. Den stora matsalen rymmer hela din grupp. Dessutom erbjuder det stora solrummet ett extra, mindre formellt samlingsutrymme och har en 64 "TV. Poolhuset har ett extra komplett kök, sittgrupp med 64 "TV samt ett sovrum med eget badrum.

Den 50 'x 25' uppvärmda, saltvattenpoolen har skytte fontäner, är omgiven av mogna fleråriga trädgårdar och har en barnpool (poolen är öppen säsongsmässigt, mitten av maj till slutet av september, beroende på vädret).

Stallet har 5 bås och ett tackrum och vi kan hänvisa till att ha mat och hö levererat innan du anländer, om du reser med hästar. Stonecote är omgiven av vackra, mogna träd och fleråriga trädgårdar, men ändå är det 10 minuter till centrum, vattnet, 10 minuter till Churchill Downs, 20 minuter till Valhalla och PGA-turnén. Vi har också en vårdnadshavare som bor i ett vagnshus på fastigheten.

Retirement on steroids

The property is fabulous! Our group absolutely loved the stay. we liked the property so much that we found ourselves cutting our visits throughout Kentucky short to get back to the house to enjoy the accommodation.

Gorgeous Home with Great Character

The home was absolutely beautiful, the layout of the bedrooms really allowed our volleyball team families to have personal space but still be together. Wish the weather was warmer for the girls to have enjoyed the fantastic pool on the property. We would certainly stay here again! Thank you for a great trip Keith and Lisa!!!

Great house and hosts

I hosted a group of employees in town for a large trade show and we could not have been happier with our choice to stay at Stonecote. Everyone was comfortable and had space for privacy, but it was a treat to be able to socialize at the end of every day somewhere besides a crowded restaurant or hotel lobby. Great experience for all and our hosts could not have been more gracious. We will be back next year!

Beautiful, Clean, Lovely large house

My husband and I rented this house for our large family to attend our son’s wedding in Louisville. The house was perfect for our family. It was in a beautiful safe, quiet neighborhood surrounded by mansions. The gathering rooms were also large, which was great for hanging out. We did a lot of cooking and grilling at the house which was equipped with everything you would need.

weekend reunion

The house is a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located in the city which makes it easy to get around. In addition to a really nice kitchen, there are gathering areas which accommodate a large group very well. The pool had already been closed but looks like it would be great fun in the summer. I've already recommended it to several of my friends.

Cousin's Trip

The property was beautiful, there was 13 of us staying with plenty of room. The host was available and responded immediately when I needed them.The weather was a bit chilly so we couldn't enjoy the pool. The pool house was nice and located very close to the main house. The location was excellent and within 20 minutes from every where we wanted to visit. I would definitely come back!

Incredible and Relaxing Stay

This is an incredible estate! The house is amazing, and the pool is perfect for lounging and playing with kids. Each morning and night we saw several deer traipsing through the yard, and the front lawn is huge, Big enough to play lots of games. You’re super close to downtown Louisville if you want to venture out, but you won’t need to, we stayed for 4 days and we never felt the need to leave.

Four generation family vacation

The home was beautiful. Indoor and outdoor flow worked well for large gatherings. The dining room was large enough for entire family to enjoy nightly dinners. The pool had a baby section that allowed smaller children to play but still be close to adults. Pool area was awesome.

Bourbon & Golf Luxury

Ten of us enjoyed the privacy and luxury of Stonecote’s accommodations. We spent 7 nights with a fantastic amount of interior space and outdoor seating areas. The kitchen exceeded our needs even though we had such a large group. Our hosts were immediately accessible both for local information and a couple of easily remedied issues. Our best VRBO experience in the last 5 years !

Family Trip to See Louisville City FC

Had a wonderful stay at the beautiful property located 9 minutes away from the Lynn Family Stadium. Pool house was beautiful and we will be returning with our extended family to make use of this spacious house. Fully equipped with everything needed that makes a house a home.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our group of 6 couples enjoyed 4 fabulous nights at Stonecote. The house is beautiful, spacious, and extremely well-stocked with everything guests might need. There was ample room to gather at the dining table, in various places in the house, and on the front and back porches overlooking the lovely grounds. We had lots of fun preparing meals in the enormous kitchen and butler's pantry. We took full advantage of the 2 refrigerators, beverage refrigerator, and ice machine. The 3 dishwashers made clean up easy! The location was perfect for us! The house is a short walk to the park with lots of green space while still being only 20 minutes or less drive from everything else in and around the city. Our hosts were helpful and responsive during the reservation process and welcoming, gracious, and attentive during our stay. We felt incredibly well cared for and knew that - if we needed it - help was just a phone call away. There are many reasons why this property has so many 5-star reviews! It was truly one of the very best VRBO experiences I have ever had. Thank you, Lisa and Keith!

A Southern Gem

The property was amazing with all the southern charm and beautiful grounds. Lots of amenities provided. Keith was wonderful. Any problem was responded to immediately. The pool was the highlight with the kids and adults alike. The boys played baseball in the spacious front yard while we sat on the front porch. It is such a beautiful property and would highly recommend it. We would love to come back.

Better than the pictures show!

We all said it was better than the pictures!! Spacious home. Clean, well-equipped and the hosts were very responsive. We had a couple little issues and Keith came right over to address. Beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was wonderful, and the salt-water pool with the fans to sit under was perfect. Multiple large game and sitting areas. We will definitely consider renting this again.

Beautiful property!!

The house is very charming with all the amenities! The hosts are very accommodating and unobtrusive. Our family had a wonderful time, enjoying the pool and the lovely kitchen!! The house was large enough to accommodate the entire family with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make life comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

My family loved staying at Stonecote. The property was able to accommodate a diverse group of 14, ranging in age from 18 to 91. It was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The neighborhood and its proximity to Cherokee Park was fantastic.

Spacious and Comfortable!

Gorgeous home and beautiful property. We had 13 people, ages 7-77 and everyone was comfortable. Clean, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, and great communication before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Incredible Stay! Couldn’t Be More Perfect!

Everything about our stay was amazing. Lisa and Keith were the perfect hosts. The house was homey for our entire family. The pool was a great bonus. If you are looking to stay with a smaller or larger group, look no further. If you are in Louisville ti visit the Bourbon Trail and Whiskey Row the location is perfect. We own a wedding venue and also rent out a Manor House for our guests and learned some things to do for our guests from Lisa and Keith. If I can give them more then 5 stars, I would in every category.

Louisville Gem!

Property owners were excellent to work with and the house was absolutely amazing! 4 couples were in town for my dad's 75th birthday celebration on the Bourbon Trail, and coming home each evening to an immaculate well equipped property was ideal for all of us! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home in a great location!

We had a wonderful weekend with two families on this beautiful property! It's convenient to almost everything, yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, surrounded my other elegant homes. We had a lot of fun in Louisville, but our favorite memories are just hanging out at the house together. We only wish the pool had been open, but it was still a litttle too chilly!

We fell in love with Stonecote because it offers the best of everything! It is a rare find: an equestrian estate in the heart of Louisville! The pool (open seasonally - mid-May to mid-September) with shooting fountains is a great place for kids to play and the adults to relax on spring and summer evenings. Stonecote feels like a secluded, private park and is a perfect setting for many different occasions. The historic, hometown feel of Louisville makes it a great place to visit any time of the year.
