Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of trails in the region and the side valleys. The trails and winter hiking paths on the frozen lakes are particularly beautiful - with lots of light, sun and space in the middle of the mountains.

For those who prefer hiking, there are 150 kilometres of winter hiking trails through snow-covered forests and side valleys such as Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever. For panoramic views, head up high - for example on the hiking trails above the valley at Muottas Muragl.

Families can take a romantic carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex or go sledging down the winding 4.2 kilometre sledging run from Muottas Muragl into the valley.
