Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the "Ferien im Baudenkmal" foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.
Public transport: Sargans, Buchs SG, or Feldkirch railway station - Take the LieMobil to Vaduz, bus stop Post - Change to the local bus (bus stop "Rotes Haus") The HofstÀtte is about 50 metres from the bus stop.
By car: Motorway exit Vaduz - direction Vaduz Zentrum - direction Schloss - FĂŒrst-Franz-Josef-Strasse.
Car park: There is a car park for guests at HofstĂ€tte 37 (access from FĂŒrst-Franz-Josef-Strasse 98)
A charging station for electric vehicles is available at the additional guest car park. You can drive up to the front of the house to unload your luggage.

The windows cannot be opened fully, as opening restrictors are installed, and have low parapet heights. It has low railings, steep stairs and the surfaces of the metal stoves get hot.
