Njut av denna fullt möblerade, välutrustade, rena lägenhet som har allt som din familj kan önska sig för en rolig strandsemester. Njut av den glittrande poolen, privat grill på din uteplats, gratis användning av boogiebrädor, paraply, strandvagn och strandstolar (finns i lägenheten). Dessa lägenheter har även en personlig tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek, diskmaskin, kylskåp i full storlek och spis med plats för 6. Det första sovrummet har 2 sängar i full storlek och eget badrum (båda har dusch / badkar combo) och TV; Andra sovrummet har en king size-säng och platt-TV med badrum. Dessa lägenheter har tre TV-apparater inklusive två plattskärmar och DVD-spelare. Alla dessa fantastiska bekvämligheter OCH på det BÄSTA läget på stranden, korsa bara gatan (Atlantic Avenue) till sanden och surfa på Atlantic Beach. Den norra änden av detta vackra resortområde är tystare än det huvudsakliga drag-rörelseområdet, men bara en kilometer eller två från all spänning om du vill ha något från skärmflygning och båtturer till bästa skaldjur på stranden! Vi har haft upprepade gäster som kommer varje år under de senaste tio åren. I närheten ligger också alla shopping, restauranger och helt enkelt roliga strandattraktioner som gör Virginia Beach till en fantastisk, familjevänlig plats för alla!

Beachcomber bliss

This condo was like being at home. It is cozy, private and in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach. The pool is beautiful and never crowded. The property is well maintained with convenient parking right outside the door of this one story building. It has two bedrooms with two baths - one with a tub and one with a shower - convenient for families with kids and seniors. The property manager is nice and easy to communicate with.

Wow,Wow,Wow!

We had such a great time enjoying this beautiful rental. The condo was a few short steps to the pool (which was kept up immaculately) and across the street from the beautiful beach. Location was perfect for our family. The rental has super cute, beachy decor and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Grocery store was 5 minutes away and the great restaurants and all the downtown fun was just a few minutes more. The host was extremely easy to contact and connect with when i had a few questions. This is definitely an A+. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Great Beach Getaway

This cute, well kept condo in a mostly residential neighborhood was perfect for our stay. Close to the beach, but quiet and not crowded. Easy drive to downtown or restaurants. The host was very responsive to questions, and the welcome card, snacks & information binder were a nice touch.

This is our third year coming to VA Beach and staying at the MaiKai condo. We absolutely love the location and proximity to the beach. The accommodations are everything you need and budget friendly!

Great location, cute condo

The space is rustic, but cute. Location relative to the beach is fantastic, and it is nice to have a hotel right across the street for times you may not feel like cooking. There were issues with the refrigerator during our stay and the owners were very responsive and fixed it quickly.

Awesome Host and Location!

We had a great time! Very clean and nice property. Walking distance to the beach and the pool in the back. Also very close to VB attractions. The best part were the chilled beer glasses in the freezer. 😁. Made my stay even better! If you want to have the best of the beach and the pool then this is the property for you and your family!

Outstanding Condo, perfect stay

My husband and I needed to get away after a very emotional year. The condo and location were perfect. Clean, adorable, so many special touches, plenty of room, little food extras but most of all, location, location, location! We walked across the street every day to the beautiful ocean then returned to the condo to drive less than a mile to fabulous food, walk the boardwalk and enjoy music. We will return and this is where we’ll stay! Thank you again for making our little getaway so special and relaxing. Don’t forget your four legged children, ours had a fun time.

Loved the Mai Kai!

We had a fabulous stay at this property! It was exactly as described! Everything was perfect! It was wonderful we loved everything! It Was so nice being so close to the beach and having access to the pool! All the restaurants and parks were so close we had a blast! It really was in a fantastic location for everything!

Cockroaches & Needed Repairs

I’d like to preface my review by noting that the owner allowed us to end our stay early and gave a partial refund, so I believe that shows integrity on their part and that they will hopefully correct their condo’s issues for future guests. The issues: 1. This condo has cockroaches. We weren’t in the condo a lot, but during our short stay, we saw/killed two large roaches. This led to a very uneasy stay, and when we returned home, we had to disinfect and wash all of our belongings prior to bringing them inside to prevent bringing roaches or their eggs into our house. 2. The property did not feel safe or secure. The entry key is simply left outside under an object and could easily be copied. All windows were unlocked. And a drunk man tried to break in to the condo in the middle of the night on July 4th during our stay — we had to call 911, and he was arrested. 3. The tubs in both bathrooms are peeling with sheets of white plastic coming off. The bath rugs to cover this feel like stepping on soggy blankets. One of the tubs doesn’t drain, so if you take a shower, you end up standing in a full bath. The master toilet would not flush consistently. The owner offered to try to fix the bathroom issues, but these problems should have been addressed before we checked in. The condo was not in the condition we paid for, and I did not feel that our vacation should have to be spent coordinating these repairs/fixes, or having repairmen enter the condo with our belongings while we weren’t there. The cockroaches in the kitchen and living room were the final straw. The owner did inform me that the condo receives quarterly extermination and is supposed to go through a 42-point housekeeping evaluation prior to each rental — however, this does not change that in spite of these things, the unit has roaches and other serious issues. The owner also reminded me that the unit has a high VRBO rating, but again, our experience was quite the opposite of what other reviews have said. We had driven eight hours to spend a week at the beach, but after just a few days in this condo, we were very anxious to go home. The owners did seem nice, and went out of their way to provide fans for the bedrooms when I asked if any were available ahead of our stay. If they can correct the roach problem, bathroom issues, and security, I believe this could be a nice condo. In its current condition, however, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Second time around did not disappoint!

This was our second time staying at this property (we loved it so much last year). The location is great....directly across the street to the beach and on the north end where it's not so crowded. We took full advantage of the pool, as well.

We live in Virginia Beach, about 25 mins from the beach condo which makes it very handy to provide any assistance or insight for incoming guests. John went to ODU and I grew up in CT, a UCONN grad!

Varför värden valde detta boende

When this property became available, we decided to purchase it. We saw the wonderful rental history, the awesome location, and all the amenities (a pool is a must) and decided to make this our investment property along with enjoying it ourselves a couple x/year for some R&R at the beach. Our daughter loves to surf and we are all 'water people' so this seemed like a great opportunity.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We looked at several beach properties. As soon as we walked into this one, we both decided 'this is it.' We loved the first floor (no climbing stairs), the beautiful courtyard area (less 'concrete/high rise' feel), the palm bushes and greenery all around and the wonderful north end location. Oh, and just across the street from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean!
