In summer, lifeguards are present, and a small café with terrace and lake view is open seasonally. Shops such as supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery, and restaurants are in town. The quiet location is an ideal starting point for trips to Schwerin, Wismar, Kühlungsborn, and Rostock.
