First I hit 4 stars on 2 categories instead of 5 and dropped the phone and it was submitted. It was supposed to be all 5’s!!💔 i cannot fix it! I called VRBO and went through an automated process and spoke to a person. They said I cannot change it unless I cancel the review when they send me an email and that’s yet to arrive. Mark and Buffy were wonderful guests that all should aspire to be like. Everything was wonderful having them and we will look forward to having them return! Thanks for staying with us. Great stay!

Excellent property! Remarkably well appointed and exceptionally clean. Jennifer was there to welcome us and was very helpful and accommodating. We liked the location as it was close to the National Park and various bike and/or hiking trails.

Impeccable! Very quiet setting with all the comforts of home.

A home away from home in a country setting overlooking the bay just 5 minutes outside the village … gift shops, restaurant, cafe, national park, bike rentals and walking/biking trails. Absolutely loved this place as our home base. Highly recommend.

Quiet, peaceful, amazing!

Wonderful cottage in prime location! So relaxing, peaceful and quiet. Lovely propery with quality linens, cookware, beds, etc. I would highly recommend it. One of the cleanest places I've stayed in.

Summer

Fantastic location to explore North/East/South island beaches lighthouses and cycling. Greenwich National Park is outstanding. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the bay is an awesome way to start your day!

Nice place but would have been nicer if the NO SEAFOOD rule wasn't hidden in the 18th paragraph of the 37-paragraph description. Learning about it upon check-in we had to change our plans for the week.

Beautiful

The island is lovely and the property is clean, comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing the foxes nearby as well as the view of the bay. The owner was very accommodating. I would check the calendar and try to come to PEI when there are fewer flies and mosquitoes, maybe closer to fall?

Wonderful & relaxing retreat with a beautiful view & relaxing atmosphere close to the beach

Our host was very kind, welcoming and informative. The property is away from the hustle bustle of the busy cities but within an hour away for day trips. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Only about 5 minutes from a gorgeous provincial park beach. Everything we could need in a household was available for our use. Lovely view of the bay from the house. A delicious spot to eat right next door. Our family of four had a very fun and relaxing holiday. Would definitely visit again.

Relaxing Stay at Greenwich Waterview

We had a great stay. Jennifer and Tony have great attention to detail and everything that we could have possibly needed was provided. The welcome gift of local soaps, jam, gourmet dip mixes was a nice personal touch. The cottage is very clean. I call it a cottage but it's really like a small house. Lots of space! Great bbq and nice deck. We really enjoyed the view of the water and the location was perfect for getting to local golf courses and Greenwich National Park. The local shops and restaurants at St Peters Landing were just a short bike ride away, along the paved bike path that also went to Greenwich National Park. Unfortunately we ran out of time to try the Greenwich trail, Nordic spa. Next time! Looking forward to doing it again some day...

Relaxing getaway

We celebrated our anniversary at the Moonlight Bay cottage. On arrival, we were greeted by Jennifer with a fresh bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine for the occasion! This cozy cottage has so much charm and character that you cannot appreciate from the pictures - the tasteful decorating and high end amenities that are not always found in rental units. And, as others have mentioned, it is immaculately clean and stocked with all necessities and many extras. We visited at the end of the season- thus the area was very quiet and relaxing. We had the beautiful PEI park almost to ourselves. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and a full moon. :) We also had the experience of a severe "NorEaster" storm that we will never forget! Jennifer and Tony were extremely accommodating and took very good care of us! And because we were there for the potato harvest, the "potato fairy" (a/k/a Tony) left us a bag of potatoes! We explored the entire island (which is much bigger than I expected) and we agreed that the St Peters Bay area is the best location! It is away from the crowded towns and tourist areas, but still close enough to the conveniences for provisions and biking and hiking. Of course we would highly recommend the Moonlight cottage to friends and relatives. And if you stay, please give our best to Jen and Tony! CJ and Rob

Lovely experience

The house was lovely and well located just as described in the listing. Jennifer was so communicative and helpful with logistics, which were complicated due to COVID. She sent us a number of links to guidelines to help us prepare. She was also very kind and understanding when we ran into some difficulties with travel. Wonderful hosts. We look forward to the chance to visit again in the future!

Perfect relaxing nest

The cottage is perfect, everything that you might need is there. The owner is very friendly, she is a phone call away to help. The view is fantastic , good for relaxing for few days. We spent 6 nights and we will love to return to this fabulous house. Many thans to Jennifer.

We were delighted with Moonlight Bay cottage.

The cottage location was perfect for us with views of St. Peter's Bay & just minutes from Greenwich Dunes trails, Greenwich beach & the Confederation trail. The cottage was very clean, cozy yet roomy & well stocked & equipped for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a chilled bottle of wine on arrival. Another perk was the Park pass that our hosts allowed us to borrow for the week.

Wonderful cottage, wonderful location

Great cottage, clean and with everything you need. The location is great, close to nice walks, beaches, bike trails. No issues with Lin's diner being so close - in fact, it's such a convenience. Cottage is clean with all the amenities you could want.

Great view, close to Greenwich park

We have stayed in this cottage for 3 days during our visit to PEI. The house had everything and more you could wish for. Owner is very friendly and helpful, kept in contact via mail to ensure everything was ok. Great view over the water, nice garden with the hummingbirds getting to your window for a bit of food. It is very close to the Greenwich national park (4 minute ride) that has a few beautiful trails and a stunning beach.

Well cared for property. The house was clean and comfortable.

It was nice to be so close to pei national park. The hostess was easy to get in touch with and knowledgeable about the area. The house was stocked with books and beach toys for our kids and was overall a comfortable place to stay.

Immaculately Clean

We really enjoyed our stay at this Greenwich property. We likened the surrounding potato fields to be the PEI equivalent of being in France and surrounded by vineyards! The view to the water was lovely. At first we were unsure about being so close to 'Lin's Takeout' because we learned its a busy spot with lots of locals coming up the lane for food. However, it was surprisingly quiet and actually quite handy to send the kids over to pick up some ice cream or yummy chips. The cottage's close proximity to the stunning PEI park with its boardwalk trails and sand dunes, along with the perfect Greenwich beach were bonuses for this location. We happened to be around for the last day of the Blueberry festival, so we were able to sit with the locals and enjoy a late night fireworks display! A unexpected treat. This property had every amenity, the kitchen was well equipped, the linens and towels were beautiful, and the house was immaculately clean. Overall, a great place to start our east coast vacation.

Perfect place for a vacation!

This was my first visit to PEI and staying at Greenwich Moonlight Bay Cottage was just a perfect place to stay! Jennifer and Tony's cottage is a great place to relax and enjoy the island! It was a short drive to beaches and trails for walking or biking. An extra great thing is Lin's takeout! A short walk across the yard for the best cheeseburger we have ever had! For some fining dining I would recommend the St Peter's Bay Inn which is right down the road. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed! It truly was a home away from home! You can see that Jennifer really put her heart into decorating the cottage! The view from the front of the cottage overlooked The St Peter's Bay. I highly recommend Greenwich Moonlight Bay Cottage!
