Big spacious home

My family and I had a great time at this property. We were out and about most of the time so basically just used home for sleeping. Plenty of room to accommodate our group of 7, plenty of beds for more. Home is well stocked and clean. Sara was easy to communicate with. Overall we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Simple Furnishings but Clean and Plenty of Space

We were very pleased with our stay in your home. The house was clean and had plenty of space for all 10 adults who stayed there for the weekend. The house was not far from downtown Atlanta or the baseball Stadium. The neighbors kept to themselves and we were all comfortable in your home. The furniture was sparse but there was enough for what you'd need. The beds were comfortable as well. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Home was nice . House was extremely hot when we arrived took a while for air conditioning to cool off. Not every room had individual television and only one room cable work. No extra blankets or towels if needed.

By far the WORST PROPERTY I have EVER rented!!!! The pictures do not accurately reflect the property. This property is in need of MAJOR repairs. The outside porch has rotted wood and some rot on the roof. When we walked in the property it was dirty in the kitchen and the floor had not been swept or counters cleaned. We go to the bedrooms and none of them were cleaned. Dirty linen on bed and dirty wet towels in the shower. Hair in the sink. Some of the windows had rotted wood and gaps. I immediately called Sara B and both the numbers she gave me just rang and didn't have an option to leave a message. I immediately went to VRBO and left a message. Sara B finally called back and told me that the cleaning person was delayed and had not cleaned the property. This was unacceptable as I booked this property months ago so there should be no excuses for this. Sarah apologized for the inconvenience and immediately offered us another property that accommodated our large family. It was a huge inconvenience and stressful. However, the new property was good and offered everything our family needed. Overall I rate the property 0 to 1 and Sarah B a 3. She did provide other acceptable accommodations but the communication methods were not working and not having the house cleaned was unexcusable.

Ghosted by Owner!

We arrived at the property at 2pm and found that we couldn't check in because the housekeepers were there. We left came back at 4 pm the housekeepers were still there and mopping the floors. We started claiming the bedrooms and I as the host of the trip picked the bedroom with the ensuite. As we were checking out the tvs we found little things that just pissed me off like no batteries in the remotes, no dish towels to wipe off tables, 5 garbage bags, 4 rolls of tissue, no wine glasses, no coffee filters and not enough bath towels for the guests. Exhausted, I took a nap IN A BROKEN BED! Well I let the host know of some of the more important issues such as bed was broken and the lack of batteries in the remotes. She sent someone over with 4 batteries and a paint can for the bed. She assured me that they would have a new bed on Sunday, November 21st. Despite paying over 8k for this rental my husband and I slept on that broke bed and I heard NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from this Owner. My husband and I have a sore back from sleeping on a broken bed after paying over 8k for 10 days for this subpar rental! NEVER AGAIN!

I walked into several dead cockroaches and one very much alive, large and very fast. I’m allergic and was unable to stay. They were mot accommodating. They did not refund or compensate. I have to fight for 3k back. The phone # doesn’t work either.

Disappointing

The house was large and roomy, but it was so oddly furnished that we were not comfortable. Upon arrival the house had clearly been poorly cleaned if at all. The floors were sticky and all the bathmats were dirty. The sofa is badly stained and the chairs for the kitchen table were so wobbly we feared them unsafe. The most important disappointment would be the extremely unsafe and undesirable neighborhood that this house was in. I would not recommend this house to anyone without researching this location thoroughly.

Great family place to stay while visiting Atlanta

This property worked excellent for all our needs. All the bedrooms are very spacious, none of us felt like we were cramped in any way. The whole process of renting was very easy, as well as minimal clean up when we left, which was nice.

Decatur, Ga house where my family of 8 adults and 2 babies stayed for 3 nights

Pros: given the lack of mid-market large Atlanta houses on VRBO, this one met our needs. Clean, large rooms, lots of space for kids, comfortable beds with clean sheets Cons: This house feels like a short term rental, not a home. Looks to have been recently renovated but not quite finished. The 5 Bedrooms were minimally furnished - some missing night tables/lamps, no dressers or chairs. When AC is set at a comfortable 72 degrees upstairs, the 2 basement bedrooms got very cold - needed more blankets than were provided. Kitchen had the basics but not much given the large group the rental is designed for. We bought paper towels, bar soap for showers, trash bags (after using the 2 provided). The full outside trashcan had not been emptied. I called the manager about this when we arrived. We just piled the bags on the ground next to it. Luckily no animals got into them.

Great House

This is a clean, comfortable house to stay at with a small group. It was great for my party of 6, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep! The backyard is lovely and serene with a great enclosed sunroom. About 20 minutes from ATL Airport and located on the east side of town. The neighboring houses look a bit unkempt, unfortunately, which makes this house even more pristine by comparison. I would stay here again or recommend to a friend!
