St. Johann in Tirol offers varied activities throughout the year. In winter, the St. Johann ski area is close enough to reach on foot; nearby you also find KitzSki â KitzbĂŒhel/Kirchberg and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser â Brixental. Winter trails, cross-country tracks and quiet routes for snowshoe tours complete the region.
In summer, hiking and cycling paths lead through forests, alpine meadows and to viewpoints around the Wilder Kaiser. Popular destinations include the Griesbach Gorge, Lake Schwarzsee, the KitzbĂŒheler Horn, the Hintersteiner See loop, as well as KitzbĂŒhel and Ellmau.
