Un endroit inoubliable

Nous avons séjourné un mois dans cette villa et tout à été parfait. Communiquer avec la propriétaire est très facile. Jennyfer qui s’occupe de la maison est toujours disponible et très agréable et donne toujours de bons conseils. La maison est idéalement placée proche des plages et des commerces . Le lieu est calme et reposant et le jacuzzi sur la terrasse et vraiment un plus. La maison offre une vue exceptionnelle sur le lagon elle est bien équipée et nous n’avons eu qu’à poser nos valises. Cet endroit nous a vraiment donné l’envie d’y revenir.

Beautiful View very comfortable

We really loved the property and wanted to stay longer. Kitchen was well Equipped and the Air Conditioner was great in the bedroom. The porch was a great place to hang out. Even though the tub is not heated it was great after a hot dayafteraa hot day.

Moorean Shangri la

The property is amazing - love how open and airy the unit is. The view is also amazing - nice to be able to see both the surrounding hills as well as the ocean. Both the owner Eleonora and the manager Jenny were very accomodating, timely in their communication, and helpful with property information and activity suggestions. I will recommend to others and would love to return one day,

Wonderful stay

Very nice place in a beautiful setting with nice views of the ocean and lagoon. Convenient location to get to several MiniMarkets for groceries, as well as the best beaches and activities we did. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The deck was wonderful for morning coffees and dining. Would definitely rent again when we come back to Moorea.

Your own private resort

We wanted a luxurious resort vacation but also an authentic Moorea experience. Eleonora’s Villa provided the perfect combination of local charm and luxury, as the villa is beautiful and well equipped to high standard. We loved exploring the local area, snorkelling the nearby beach, and even shopping at the local French grocery stores. The location is right where you want to be on Moorea. Both the owner and property manager were very accommodating to whatever we needed. Would return without hesitation.

A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Eleonora's lovely home! We are a senior couple (77 and 75). We stayed seven days on Moorea reliving our sail cruising days in the 1990's. The home is situated in a gated community on a hillside with a beautiful view of the lagoon and ocean below. The property is quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essential cooking utensils and dishes to prepare meals. There were a few basic spices in the cupboard (salt, pepper, olive oil). Eleonora (and her property manager, Jenny) went beyond the call to ensure our comfort. The beds were a bit too hard for our sleeping comfort. Within two days, Jenny had purchased and installed mattress toppers in both bedrooms (this on an island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean!). We would stay there again and highly recommend this property to others. Ia orana!

Nice Secluded Property with Great Ocean View

A nice villa in a gated community with a wonderful panoramic view of the ocean and mountains from a spacious deck. A couple of minor drawbacks: the dishwasher didn’t really clean the dishes, and if you wanted up to eat inside (which we did because of high winds), you have sit on a backless stool at the kitchen counter. Communication/instructions with the host on check-in and checkout were almost non-existent. Having said that, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The perfect housing to live Moorea

Villa Ta'ura is a awesome retreat to fully enjoy the sheer beauty of Moorea, thanks to its awesome elevated position within Legends Residences. You have privacy, nature surrounding you for 360 degree, lagoon view and a fully equipped property that you will easily feel your home for the rest of your stay. The quality of the decor as well of the amenities eases everyday living, so that is a pleasure to come back after a day spent out. The interaction with Eleonora, the owner, has been flawless as that with Jenny who is in charge of the house. I would totally recommend this property to anyone interested not just in an accomodation, but in finding a place in harmony with the island.

Fantastic stay

Really enjoyed our time at this beautiful property, super clean, very quiet, very nice view. Owner and their local caretaker have been super responsive and really helpful throughout. Close to all the great beaches and activities like snorkeling with the whales.

Beautiful location

Home is clean and the views are great! The air conditioners in the bedrooms felt wonderful for sleeping at night. The home can get a little warm during the day since there isn’t ac in the living space but there is usually a gentle breeze that helps. There are beautiful day geckos that occasionally roam the living space eating insects. They never came in the bedrooms and were fun to watch during the day and at night. The views from the balcony were spectacular. Watching the stars at night from the balcony were also amazing!

Awesome views and privacy

Located high on a hill this home offers beatiful views of the lagoon and can be opened up to enjoy the tropical breeze. The deck offers outside seating and dining with a plunge pool for cooling off. The kitchen had everything needed for meals and morning coffee. The home was very clean and organized. Snorkeling gear and noodles are provided to enjoy the beach. Several restaurants, shops and activity centers are a short drive away. Jenny, the onsite manager, is very accomodating, friendly and responds quickly to text messaging. She met us at the home to show us the features and answer questions about the area. We stayed for 9 nights and would select this home again. As noted, having a car is an advantage and we procured ours from Avis directly across from the ferry terminal.

Perfect Hillside Escape...

Not being down on the water was perfect for us: we had already been on a 2-week cruise. And from this perch the views were wonderful: less ocean and more hillside maybe than some of the others, but that was good. And during one day/night of torrential rain you felt like you were in a tree-house... lovely. The home was really well put together -- compact but wonderfully functional -- and Jenny the on-site Manager was lovely!! We'll be back...

Traumhaus

Wir verbrachten in diesem Traumhaus wunderbare Tage. Herrliche Lage, totale Ruhe, da kann man sich nur wohl fühlen. Ein Auto ist ein Muss. Mit Auto ist man schnell an verschiedenen Stränden, sind Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schnell erreichbar.

Wie im Paradies

Es ist schön, an einem fernen Ort anzukommen und sich sofort zuhause zu fühlen. Wir hatten das Glück, die Vermieterin Elenora und ihre liebevolle Seele Regine persönlich kennenzulernen. Spectacular vacation rental

This place is heaven on earth! The scenery, the beautiful outdoor areas, the spotless cleanliness inside and the comfortable beds made our week at the house a complete joy. Views from the house include both the lagoon and a mountainside jungle. We enjoyed peace and quiet at the house, the well equipped kitchen, lounging in the plunge pool on hot days, and shopping at the fantastic French grocery store down the road. Communication with the host and checkin was easy. Eleanora provided us with helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. The house is located just above some of the best snorkeling sites on the island. Thank you so much Eleanora! We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful Patio & Views

Our favorite part of our stay was lounging on the patio and enjoying the amazing views during the day and the stargazing at night. The property was clean but we did have some issues with bugs since it rained our first day in Moorea and they apparently like to avoid the rain. The location is beautiful, high up on the hillside and felt nestled in the jungle a bit, even though we still had a clear view to the water. The location seemed to be on the drier side of the island, which we really appreciated given it was the rainy season when we went, and was centrally located to a ton of fun activities. We really enjoyed our stay here! Note that the location pinned on the map in vrbo when we stayed was not correct so if you look for Holy Steak House in maps, it's right below the entrance to the lovely housing community (the vrbo map will turn you off the main road a km or so too soon).

Breathtaking hilltop villa

We enjoyed stayed at Villa T’aura. It was clean and spacious, close to many good restaurants and beaches. Owner has everything that you need to enjoy your stay. My only disappointment was that the hot tub on the deck has no heat, and I love hot tubs. If the temperature outside was warmer, that might have warmed it up

Truly paradise!

Eleonora has a beautiful hilltop home..and I do mean hilltop...4 switchbacks to get up there...sooo worth the view alone. It is well appointed and has everything you need; comfortable beds, washer/dryer, full kitchen, clean and in a very secure location. We felt right at home. Don't hesitate to stay here. You definitely need a car. Eleonora is very responsive and her manager, Regine, is delightfully helpful. Moorea is a laid-back island where you can participate in many activities or just rest and relax on the beautiful beaches or the expansive deck at the house.

I am a world traveler, originally from Italy. I like to spend time in beautiful places and share them with like minded people. I have a home in Mill Valley California which is also on VRBO #360560, and a home in Rome, Italy. This little gem in Moorea, a half hour ferry ride from the main island of Tahiti, is my special little retreat in the sun, to get away from the cold of winter.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Moorea is one of the more beautiful places I have seen in my travels. The people are laid back and nice, the climate is mild and the ocean is clean. There are few tourists, so it is still very 'real', without being third world because it is French. The restaurants serve great food, and the healthcare is good in case I need it. There are many outdoor activities available, like hiking, biking, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as my favorite, Tahitian dancing. The house is within a gated residential area, so it is totally private and safe for a single woman like me. The neighbors are mostly couples and families. The caretaker and his wife are helpful if I need anything and there is a fitness facility which I like to use when it rains. A small shopping center is 5 minutes away and there are a number of good restaurants in the area.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The reason I chose this property over others is the security of the gated residence, the site, which is very beautiful and although not directly on the beach, the beach is just down the hill. The hill itself offers great hiking right of out my front door. The villas, designed by a well known French architect, are very tasteful, beautifully landscaped, and have all the modern amenities. My villa has only one neighbor, and is very quiet and private.
