We had a great, relaxing stay in Princeville. The home was a comfortable oasis on this beautiful island. The kitchen was our favorite room - such a well-stocked kitchen and great place to hang out and visit and make meals.

Just a very comfortable place to spend your Kauai days. Just minutes to beaches and Hanalei town.

Beautiful Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The day we arrived I received a call while still on the plane that the air conditioning was broken. Welcome to Hawaii! We were told it wouldn’t be fixed during our stay and were provided extra fans. The lower level was extremely hot where my kids slept. That said, after several calls back and forth, we were compensated a percentage of what we paid for our stay. Which is all we wanted since we specifically booked this house for air conditioning (it’s somewhat challenging to find in Kauai). Aside from the no air, the house is gorgeous and clean. We understand these things happen, we just wanted to be taken care of for it. And we were. Eventually. Beautiful house in a beautiful location, well stocked. Thank you!

We loved our stay there! The only thing that we should have done is report water leaking on the garage floor when we got there. It was so rainy we just thought the rain had found a way into the garage. Everything was perfect - it was spacious, beautiful and the kitchen had everything needed to make and serve food. We loved the artwork in the house and the purple bedroom as well as the orange sofas. This is a wonderful place to stay and we will recommend it to friends looking for a great place on the north shore.

The open floor plan with floor to ceiling windows were wonderful for viewing the mountains and lush tropical garden trees and plants below. Kitchen had everything one could want for preparing meals. The owners have incredible artwork which we really enjoyed. Lisa and Krista were exceptionally helpful when a couple of very minor issues came up. We definitely hope to stay in this property again soon.

We were able to walk to shopping, a small farmer’s market and a beach with great snorkeling near the One Resort.We would definitely rent this home again.

Easy walk to the pool and tennis courts which were literally across the street. We spent the day hiking all the nearby trails and beaches then shaved ice and home for the evening . Very relax full vacation with family . Will visit again.

It is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice pool very nearby, has room for families to be together but also have their space. The beautiful backyard has tropical flowers, shady trees and room for croquet, catch or frisbee.The kitchen is well stocked and the dining table big enough for family meals. Every room is a fascination of art and memorabilia from around the world.

Great place for a family to stay

House was very well stocked, from beach supplies to kitchen pans and utensils. Location was convenient to Princeville amenities and resorts. Price was a bit high with a high cleaning fee and VRBO fee. Only negatives were spotty WiFi (the house has 3 separate networks) and none of them reached into bedrooms well. And toilets would often run continuously or leaked a bit. They definitely need a little maintenance. Otherwise the place was awesome

The homeand garden are gorgeous and we love the location for the north shore beaches. Our adult children enjoyed the space downstairs with their own bedrooms, bathrooms and living area! Upstairs we had our beautiful bath and room, living and dining, kitchen and outdoor heated shower!! After early morning snorkeling at the amazing Tunnels Beach daily and afternoons snorkeling at Annini Beach coming “home” to this beautiful space was perfection! The house was also immaculate; so clean and well maintained. We are grateful to have found this rental. The team at Kauai Vacation Rental was also so nice to work with every time I had questions prior to arrival as well.

Orchid

We love the Princeville area. Orchid Hale is a huge house, well designed, with an amazing yard. Walking distance to pool, golf, tennis. So many great beaches nearby. Most require a short hike but you are rewarded at the end. Secret beach is amazing. Perfect for a family of 6-8, or 9 if you have 3 small ones. My wife and I stayed in the master upstairs, so much room and privacy. Our kids and grandkids stayed in the two bedrooms downstairs and the oldest slept on a roll away in the office. There is also a pull out in the downstairs FR. They were a little crowded but didn’t complain. Huge kitchen and great room upstairs. Air conditioning was essential and worked well. I would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect! We needed the size to be what it was to accommodate our family. My husband and I were upstairs in the master and my sister’s family were downstairs. My sister and niece had their own bathroom and my brother in law and nephew had their own bathroom. They had their own living room downstairs to accommodate their family needs when we (upstairs) wanted to go to bed early. We used the backyard for frisbee and catching footballs because it was so big and spacious. We used the kitchen and the laundry since it was a 9 day stay. Other than the A/C not being able to get fixed during our stay, it was such the perfect house and will definitely stay there again. Kauai vacation rentals staff were wonderful.

It is very large with plenty of room to spread out, clean, beautiful, and has everything you need for your stay (except shampoo and body soap). The yard is gorgeous with so many flowers and fruit trees. The neighborhood is centrally located and so very nice. So many places to walk or jog. You are just a few minutes from a grocery store, gas, and shops/restaurants. Tons of beach supplies including chairs, umbrellas, mats, etc. The kitchen is so well stocked - we were able to host 13 people for a post wedding dinner easily. The master bedroom is upstairs separate from the two bedrooms downstairs. Each level has its own living area and there is an office downstairs. The A/C works perfectly- no hot spots. We would book this house again for sure. It just made our visit to paradise even better!!!

This gorgeous home gives so much attention to the artwork, the decor, the amenities, and the specific instructions for properly operating the AC and the many lights, drawing shades, disposal of trash, etc.. The owners of this special home rightfully take pride in this home’s beauty inside and out! We are grateful for the opportunity to have shared the warmth and comfort of Orchid Hale. This has been our 5th trip to Kauai and when we return, we will look no further than to call the great people at KVR and ask that they book us again at Orchid Hale!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went in with reasonable expectations. But when we opened the front door, we were WOWed!!! It is unbelievable. What a beautiful home. So much attention to detail, from the artwork, the furniture, everything. The layout was incredible. Our first 4 days of our trip was nothing but non stop rain, and this was the perfect home for being “stuck”. The gourmet kitchen made you want to cook! Our kids loved the backyard, as did I. This felt like a $3-$5m home. And it probably is! Sub-Zero refrig and other high end appliances. And the best part, your own garage! Most owners don’t give you access to the garage. These owners do! Mahalo! Made it easy to get into the home with it it getting rained on. And your garage is impeccable. We also enjoyed doing some washes of the kids clothes the high- end washer and dryer in the garage. The beds... one word. Heavenly. Best sleep of my life. My wife’s and kids didn’t want to get out of bed!!! And the floor to ceiling windows with the majestic view of the Hanalei mountains with waterfalls, and the most serene backyard with this amazing canopy tree. Can’t say enough. We will return. No question.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kauai is our favorite place in the world. We love this island and her people. We first came in 1998 and we try to come back every year. We enjoyed days on Anini beach or. Hanalei bay. In the evenings we had wonderful meals at the Dolphin, Tiki Aniki , and Happy Talk, 3 of our favorite spots.Orchid Hale is a well appointed home located in Princeville. The only thing previous visitors did not show the gas grill much love,it was pretty sad. The dryer was on the fritz, the homeowners were working on getting a new one.These things did not detract from the rest of the home or the beautiful well maintained property it sits on. This is a great rental for families. We had our almost 2 year old granddaughter with us, she loved playing in the yard and the park just up the road. There also is a community pool and tennis courts for you to enjoy.The house also had beach chairs, towels, sand toy, yard games and more!This home and island has so much to offer we would highly recommend it.
