Ett stort dÀck, med stor solexponering, ser ut över vackra Gastineau Channel, Douglas ön och den majestÀtiska Chilkat bergskedjan. Ett hem med 2 bekvÀma queen sÀngar, tvÄ stora vÄningssÀngar och om det behövs en queen size futon soffa. Det Àr en perfekt plats att vila efter en hektisk dag ut och omkring.
Vissa saker mycket i nÀrheten:
Bara ner för backen Àr Twin Lakes park. Förutom tvÄ smÄ sjöar finns vindskydd, en lekplats och vandringsled. Det Àr en trevlig plats för en morgon jog, tvÄtimmars utflykt eller kvÀllspromenad. För mer intensiv aktivitet, vandra upp till Salmon Creek Reservior och njuta av den fridfulla ljudet av fÄglar och rinnande vatten, tar ca 2 timmar. DIPAC, Àr den lokala lax klÀckeriet precis runt hörnet (1. 9 miles). DÀr kan du lÀsa om livscykel lax och visa andra lokala livet i havet. Great location to experience Juneau. Clean home comfortable beds, beautiful view from the back deck. My only complaint would be that the living room chairs aren’t comfortable for very long. The kitchen Could use a few updates, but overall very good experience. I would stay there again.

Check in and out was easy and location was good. House was quite creaky, particularly the stairs going up to the two bedrooms. It didn’t seem to bother sleeping kids much, but we used sound machines.

Terrific central location in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Clean, with a well appointed kitchen, and spacious for the four of us. We chose to stay here following a week-long cruise in July. Five minute drive from the airport. Ten minute drive into downtown Juneau, or Mendenhall Glacier. We really enjoyed the deck where we could watch eagles soar and the sea planes land on the water runway. We'd never seen berries so large on the backyard shrubs. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Best bang for the buck!

This was a great place to stay with teens. It fits the needs of a budget conscious family. No frills, but everything you need! We loved the neighborhood and valued getting out of the downtown area!

Great Juneau Option

This place is out of town, so you'll want a car or to have some flex on taxis, but it's a great house. Clean, good kitchen, location near airport so easy access to town or up to the ferry etc...good grocery nearby, nice neighborhood, host is helpful and communicative. Would stay again.

Loved this cozy home!

This home is in the perfect location—a quiet neighborhood but close to downtown, walking trails, a great park, and more! We loved the location, as we were able to get in and out to adventure around with no issues. There are three bedrooms and a comfy futon in the living room. The view is perfect for sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. We had a great time and would recommend it to others.

Pleasant, comfortable stay

W enjoyed our stay in Juneau in this bright, cozy 2-story home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and centrally located to everything that Juneau has to offer. It was nice having separate thermostats in each room, and also a large mud room upon entry.

Like a home away from home

The main room was comfortable for the entire party. The bathrooms were well-stocked and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed with grocery stores a short drive away. While one mattress was a bit too firm, all guests slept well and had plenty of privacy and space. We would stay here again “in a hot minute”.

Great rental for a long weekend

We had a great time just hanging. Around. I appreciated the kitchen being well stocked on the basics, coffee, cutlery, and other appliances. Better than I have had at most other vacation rentals, it made making what few meals we did make at the rental fairly easy

Merigwen was moved to Juneau from California by her parents at the age of 6. Upon seeing the then muddy streets of downtown, she was less than impressed and started to cry. Fifty+ years later, she is still here...raising her three children with her Japanese husband, Tom and thanking her parents for the beautiful place she calls home.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This area of Juneau receives great sunlight from morning to night. No matter where you want to go, you are nearly there. It's easy access to bike paths and the city bus line. Best of all, I love the view of the Chilkat mountains.
