Om du letar efter en liten bit himmel har du hittat det. Ett unikt hem vid sjön med "miles" och jag menar "miles" med fri utsikt över sjön. Denna mycket speciella sjöparti Àr plan, har djupt vatten, spektakulÀr gÄrd och sin egen bÄtramp. Hemmet har 4 sovrum, 3 badrum, öppet kök, matsal och vardagsrum med oÀndlig utsikt över Normansjön. Den massiva tÀckta ryggen uteplats möjliggör en tupplur pÄ morgonen eller eftermiddagen eller Àr en perfekt samlingsplats för familjen. Det hÀr hemmet Àr undangömt i en lugn vik sÄ att du inte har den huvudsakliga kanaltrafiken men ÀndÄ har du huvudkanalvyn sÄ lÄngt ögat kan se. Det finns mÄnga aktiviteter (golf, tennis, shopping, restauranger osv.) I nÀromrÄdet, men jag tror att de flesta bara tycker om att sitta pÄ uteplatsen och lÄta vardagens stress bara smÀlta bort. Om du upplever en vecka pÄ denna lugna sjön retrÀtt vet jag att du kommer tillbaka för mer.

27 Ft tritoon pontonbÄt finns att hyra för $ 350 per dag.
Yamaha jet ski finns att hyra för $ 325 per dag.

Obs: Jag krÀver en lÀgsta hyra pÄ 4 natt för mÄnaderna juni, juli och augusti.

What a View provided us with an ideal location and layout to accommodate me and my adult children in comfort! We had a wonderful family time and especially enjoyed our boat rental, complete with skis, tubes, and floats. There was plenty of space to gather, inside and out, to enjoy each other’s company, the view, and the numerous wildlife that came to visit during our stay. Danny was very accommodating and gracious, with excellent communication throughout our booking and stay. One of our best VRBO rentals overall!

Quiet, relaxing and wonderful view

Property is as described. Communication was immediate. We rented the boat and jet ski which was a great addition to our time there. Hit Joeys for Trivia and dinner- took boat over to North Harbor - nice menu Spent time at the whitewater center about 45 minutes away but if you have teenagers to occupy they will love this place zipline,ropes course whitewater rafting- great for older adults too . Our son lives in the area so we will definitely come again.

Very pretty property and communication was top notch. If I had any complaints it would be the lack of extra sheets, the very cramped room with the bunkbeds and some age of the amenities. Overall with exception of some not so great weather we had a relaxing and comfortable family experience. Danny checked on us before, during and after our stay.

If your looking for a nice clean very peaceful and comfortable home. Look no further!!

Me my husband and our kids booked this home for spring break just a quick lil get away and I must say this home is everything! We rented there boat enjoyed sunset went fishing caught a huge catfish had s’mores by the fire pit went swimming in the lake had a BBQ I could go on and on trust me you won’t be disappointed. VERY PEACEFUL AND RELAXING the owners are very nice people and respond at a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back!

Last family vacay for a bit


We stayed here for our “last family vacay” for a bit. We have a son leaving for basic training within a month and after that we have no idea where he will end up. The pictures do NOT do this home justice. It’s beautiful and the lake view
WOW! Having the boat available for rent at the end of the dock was like the icing on the cake. Even though we only had one day of great weather, thanks to the storm Debby, we had a great time. Communication with the owner was so easy. 10/10 would stay here again!

Relaxing Thanksgiving Getaway

Clean, cozy and well stocked. My first thanksgiving without extended family. It was just my family of four and it was great. Peyton’s place is a perfect family vacation spot with full lake view. We loved that we didn’t have to entertain our boys. The lake took care of that. Our boys went fishing everyday. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks again Danny!

Cleaning and maintenance was substandard

I consider the cleaning fee to be a scam. At the front door I was met with spiderwebs. The porch light fixture was so full of dead bugs that the light barely shined through it. One showers curtain had red mold growth. A dripping faucet in the master tub had left extensive green residue. The top of the refrigerator was caked with dust. The oven was filthy. I opened a cooler on the patio and found stagnant water and a moldy ball. The toilet in the master bath would run unless the flush handle was manipulated. The floor felt dirty. A rug in the living room was stained or dirty. It was clear that only the most superficial cleanings had been done and the dirt accumulated over a long period of time. I have pictures to document the condition of the rental. think that I should be refunded the cleaning and set up fee.

Wonderful getaway

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for and a little more! Danny was extremely proactive, hospitable, and great to communicate with. Check in was extremely easy and all the amenities were wonderful. Utilizing the boat and jet ski was fun and easy to plan. The property worked perfectly for our family. I highly recommend this rental.

Fantastic view from emasculate porch!

We loved the view of the lake from the huge back porch well designed with comfortable seating areas. The kitchen is very well stocked. Communication with the owner, Danny, was great!

Family 4th of July Weekend

Our family booked this house and had a great time! The location was great, very close to the grocery store but we were able to have them delivered so that was nice. Very close to boat launch to put our boat in the water. House was very accommodating and perfect for what we needed. The back porch was great for hanging out and enjoying family. We did bring our boat and the dock is nice but lacks extra cleats to tie up, luckily we have a large inflatable bumper that we were able to use. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Family Vacation

We have passed Lake Norman time and time again on our way to the Carolina’s and Florida. This was our first stay and we all agreed it was the place we would definitely come back to. Our host, Danny, was the most responsive host we’ve ever encountered dealing with VRBO. He did everything to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Enjoyed having morning coffee on the deck. Sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed the boat and jet ski. Renting definitely a must if you stay there.

Tranquil and Delightful

An incredibly beautiful home on the lake. The property is very well manicured and maintained. You’ll want to spend your time on the back porch / patio enjoying the view of the lake. Wow! We'll do What A View Again

The perfect place for my 80th birthday celebration with our sons and granddaughters! We plan on bringing our family back again! Beautifully and comfortably furnished inside and out with plenty of space. Not just a rental- we felt very much at home as soon as we walked in! The floor plan is ideal for a family gathering! Danny Long made sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. Very responsive and easy to talk to. I was very surprised to find the beds remarkably comfortable in any posture (I'm old). We enjoyed the large tub, a treat for us. Our son, a french chef, prepared a huge dinner in the kitchen and on the barbecue. Had everything we needed. We ate outside, very comfortable and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the fire pit until late. Could see Cygnus (the Swan) overhead -orange & blue double star). I’ll bring my telescope next trip. We all cruised the lake on the pontoon boat, the highlight of our trip. We’ll do that again. The water surprisingly comfortable after the initial entry. Danny put it in the water for us. We took care of 22 properties in Hawaii and have rented beach properties here - this was the best of any! Exceptional! Can’t say enough!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This home and lot are truly one of a kind. I looked for 8 years to find that "perfect" lake lot and once you experience a day or a week at Peyton's Place I think you will agree it is just that, "perfect".

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The most obvious benefit of this home is the "MILES" of lake views that you have. You can sit on the patio or sit in the living room, kitchen or dining room and just enjoy the endless views of Lake Norman. In addition you will also get to see an abundance of wildlife, with our neighborhood deer, ducks, geese, and sea gulls. Late in the afternoon you may also get to see the local Ospery diving for his/her dinner, very entertaining.
