This is a beautiful property located on the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals if we wanted to. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountains and glaciers is spectacular.

Beautiful cottage on Katchemak Bay

Wonderful location right on the shore of Katchemak Bay. Close enough to town and the spit to be convenient, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Clean, well stocked and tastefully furnished. Panoramic view of the bay from large windows—loved watching the change in tides. Stayed two nights—wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stay with fantastic views!

This cabin had the best views. We stayed here 3 nights, but I would have loved to stay another couple of nights. Views absolutely can't be beat! Host is so sweet and helpful. Very clean and has a full kitchen. Amazing stay. Trust me, book several nights!!!

Superb! Even better then we expected!!

Our cabin was beautiful, decorated very well, supplied with everything we needed and the view from our cabin was breathtaking!! Thank you Donna for making our first trip to Alaska so incredible!! If we ever return we would definitely want to stay at Homer Beachside Cabins! We highly recommend it to anyone!!!

Wonderful Place To Stay In Homer

I had stayed at Donna's cabin before and I was able to return there this year. The cabin is immaculate and a wonderful place to stay. The location is great. From the porch, the view of the glacier across the bay is breath taking. One can spend the entire day just sitting on the deck and viewing the glacier as one reads a book. I will look to stay with Donna again when I return to Homer. I suggest that you book early because the cabin gets booked quickly.

Perfect little cabin!

This cabin sits right on the bay with views of the mountains, glaciers and dramatic tides. The owners decorated the cabin in "Seaside Chic" and have provided so many little extras not usually found in rentals. I highly recommend this property as Donna was very hospitable and met us as we arrived, offering to assist us should we need anything. We hope to make it back to Homer and we will certainly stay here again!

Cozy waterfront!

The cabin had a beautiful view and so cozy! We loved being able to walk down to the beach and walk up and down near the water! The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was very clean!! It was nice to meet the owner! She was very nice! We wish we could of stayed longer we loved Homer!! We will be back again!!

Florida couple in Homer

Only issue was GPS to property was off by .3 miles but the address out front was visible. Great views to the bay! Fun watching the dramatic tide changes. Eagles soaring right out our door and catching fish! Ever changing view of the glacier, mountain peaks and bay. Host / Donna was very responsive! We visited Seldovia and Homer Spit in our 2 days.

Picture Perfect

Loved this cabin and location. Hostess, Donna, provided everything you could need for your stay. Spotlessly cleaned and everything as advertised in listing. This cabin, right on the waterfront, was perfect for long walks on the beach and for taking pictures of the ever-changing landscape right out side our windows. Conveniently located to all the Homer attractions, it was a nice quiet retreat after the day’s activities. This was our second stay at one of Donna’s properties. Excellent experiences both times.

beautiful is a great description.

We stayed 2 days following 6 days of hotel stays. What a great break. Comfortable bed. Beautiful view. We had fun watching the tide come in and out. Seals were playful in the bay. We had a great dinner at captain paddies. Fishing for halibut was great. Did I mention view was great. Wow. We would have booked a longer stay but the place was booked up. We enjoyed watching the fishing for salmon in the small fishing area on the "spit". Watched a seal steal a salmon off the line of one unfortunate fisherman. Donna, Thanks for a great time at your place.

My husband and I wanted to stay here forever. What a magical place. The views are outstanding, the kitchen is fully stocked for a long stay, and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. I love that you can see the mountains from the bed. The only complaint I have is regarding the shower. The shower head is very high up the wall and impossible to adjust. As a shorter person, I couldn’t escape the water blasting me in the face. But I’ll take being blasted in the face by water if it means I can be in this cabin! If we ever make our way back to Homer (which we loved) we will definitely stay again!

We truly enjoyed out stay at this home. It was impeccably clean and every detail was carefully thought out. The furniture and bed were comfortable, the kitchen was outfitted nicely, the towels were plush. It is a cozy retreat from the fast-paced world. Great location too. Close to Homer and the spit. Fun to muck around during low-tide.

Beautiful Views

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer! Beautiful views, clean and comfortable cabin, well-stocked kitchen - wonderful!! We will plan to stay here again the next time we're in Homer.
