My name is Monica. I grew up in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, and have lived La Paz for the last six years. During that time, I've grown roots into the community through educational programs and efforts to advance environmental conscience in the form of organic gardens, recycling, and sustainable water-management practices.

Casa de los Santos is a cozy, rustic mexican style home. Our guests love the variety of colonial-era Catholic art and iconography it is adorned with.
Its hacienda-style layout creates a central open courtyard with a pool, bbq grill and terrace, which is surrounded by all the bedrooms, the big, spacious living room dining room, the kitchen, and a washer. All directly connected to the central courtyard.
The kitchen is an indoor/outdoor setup, whose sliding windows above the counter open up into the courtyard, allowing food to be served directly over the counter for an easy outdoor breakfast experience.
The pool is heated and illuminated. Our guests tell us it is the perfect place to spend long evenings soaking with your friends and family. The courtyard has its own bathroom and shower that services the pool.
And last but not least, the house has a great garage that can easily house two large SUVs.

We take pride in using non-toxic cleaning supplies, providing a healthier and more natural alternative, while being just as effective to synthetic-based conventional cleaners.
As La Paz doesnât have a city recycling program, we go the extra mile and arrange for recycling ourselves. We offer recycling bins for our guests, which we then transport to proper recycling facilities outside of town.
We are making efforts towards water conservation in La Paz. We are adopting water-efficient technologies, growing mostly native vegetation in our decorative gardens, promoting responsible water usage, and building urban rainwater capture basins.
Finally, we provide canvas grocery bags you can use in your trips to the local stores, farmerâs and fish markets. Casa de los Santos is located in a quiet neighborhood only a short walk from the boardwalk and restaurants.
Taking a right as you exit the house, there is a nice Mexican restaurant on the cornerâa great place to have a nice meal once youâre settled in.
Walk one more block in the same direction and youâll find Mercado Bravo, a traditional La Paz Market well-known for its shops where you can find fresh seafood, meats, and a variety of other foods.
