La Batterie-villa ligger i det exklusiva Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain-området i Soufriere och erbjuder fullständig integritet. Du hittar din flykt vid denna lyxvilla omgiven av frodiga trädgårdar, en tropisk pool med tillhörande cabana, liljedamm och rymliga däck. Flyttar inuti, är villan konstruerad av inhemsk sten tillsammans med teak och mahogny skog. Huset är byggt i traditionell karibisk konstruktion och har dörrar i planteringsstil som öppnas för att dra full nytta av dess rikliga naturliga och tropiska landskap.

Huset har tre sovrum vardera med king size-sängar och eget badrum för att ge gästerna maximal avskildhet och kan bekvämt sova en grupp på sex. Varje sovrum har sin egen solstol samt garderobskåp. Det stora sovrummet har utsikt över Karibiska havet medan de två andra sovrummen har utsikt över villaträdgårdarna. Rummen kan göras med enkelsängar på begäran i förväg.

Dessutom har villan ett loft över vardagsrummet som kan användas för att sova två men vi rekommenderar att de är i tonåren för att möjliggöra maximal komfort. Förutom de tre sovrummen, erbjuder huset områden för gruppsamling och underhållning, till exempel den eleganta terra cotta-vardagsrummet och matsalen som vetter mot havet. Vardagsrummet öppnar upp till ett 40 fot öppet teakdäck som belyser Pitons skönhet där gästerna kan njuta av vinden medan de tittar på båtarna förbi. Matsalen erbjuder ett bord med plats för sex personer och är en utmärkt plats för att njuta av fantastiska karibiska middagar som kan begäras genom kocken Stephanie för en nominell avgift. Views For Days

Everywhere you look from the Villa there are amazing views from the Pitons, to the reef right below, to the beautiful garden meticulously maintained by Terry! We really enjoyed our time! The staff was fabulous and took great care of us and we always felt safe traveling with Clavie and at night with BK! Stephanie kept us well fed with delicious food and Bibi kept the place spotless. Epic trip and we will definitely be back!

One of the best villas in the Caribbean

La Batterie was so beyond our expectations, I don’t know where to start! My interactions with you were timely, responsive, and incredibly helpful toward making our 4 days on the island perfect. The view, house, and general ambience were exceptional, as was every staff member. We can’t imagine there would be a better place to stay anywhere on St. Lucia or the Caribbean. The four of us have done a lot of traveling all over the world, and La Batterie is right up there in our list of favorites.

A very comfortable setting with a spectacular view

La Batterie is a beautiful place with a spacious interior and a deck that affords a million dollar view. The accommodations are only exceeded by the welcoming staff that made us feel at home. Indeed, they went out of there way at times to show off their island to us. Their hospitality went beyond a pay cheque and our stay with them was a joy. Our vacation to St. Lucia will be a highlight that will live in my memory forever and I can attribute it to La Batterie and the friendly and generous people we encountered there. I highly recommend this place and the people.

Amazing views are worth it!!!

We were a group of 6 celebrating a 50th birthday milestone. Property was big enough for us to each find our own corners to relax, and morning and night we were repeatedly consumed by the views—esp from master bedroom. The staff was attentive and easy to work with. There were US and G plugs in bathrooms, ample closet spaces and despite the open concept felt that each room still had privacy. Order coffee from the gardener! Def recommend.

One of the best villas in the entire Caribbean

We have stayed here on several occasions. The views are breathtaking. The villa is gorgeous. The staff is incredible. Cynthia makes fantastic food, and B.K., Terry, and Marylin are as friendly as can be. The town is great, the locals are great and it is very safe. Stay away from cruise ships and the crowds in Castries. Seasoned travelers stay in Sourfiere. In short, this is a world class villa in every sense of the word. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is one of my favorite spots on the planet.

Breathtaking and LOVED the staff!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how perfect this trip/experience was and how much we loved this villa. From the view, the staff and convenience of being near the beach, having a pool. I could go on and on, this was the best vacation that we have taken. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to come back. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I would like to personally thank Clavie for driving us around everywhere and making recommendations for dinner and day time excursions. I don't want to leave out Terry, BK and the ladies because they were awesome too.

Fantastic Week

Had a lovely time with a group of 9 at La Batterie over Christmas. The house and grounds were very well-maintained and clean. The viws was as beautiful as promised, and we had a lovely sunset over the sea seemingly every night. Great location, close to the beach down the street (very steep) with a lovely secluded pool as well. Everyone on the staff was very attentive and very friendly for the entire week. Clavie seemed to have all sorts of connections and set us up with various tours and trips thoughout the week, which was extremely helpful. We would recommend this villa to anyone looking to take a trip to St. Lucia. A+.

Vacation in Paradise - Lifetime of Memories

Thanks again for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful St. Lucian villa. We had such an amazing week on the island. We miss enjoying our fresh brewed coffee each morning on the deck overlooking the Pitons. What a wonderful way to start each day! Without a doubt, the view from the deck is the best anywhere on the island. The villa itself is unique, spacious and breathtaking. All the staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our vacation experience very special. Stephanie was fabulous and provided the best food we had anywhere on the island. Thanks again for some great memories! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone considering an escape to St. Lucia!

Return Trip-Living in a Postcard!

We stayed in this home for our 25th anniversary & again for our 51st! So many great memories from the past & wonderful new ones from this visit. The location & surroundings are awesome! The staff was friendly & knowledgeable-we looked forward to seeing them each day. They made our stay very pleasant & seamless. Food was great & fresh-thank you Stephanie! Beds were comfortable & well made each day- thank you Bibi! It was wonderful to wake up to the Pitons each morning & to sit on the deck at night to see the stars highlighting the shadows of the Pitons. We swam in the well maintained pool twice each day. Afternoons we could be found on the deck or in the hammock for a nap. So much to see & do in the area-Clavie’s taxi service was available & treated us well. We won’t forget our Fantastic return visit!

Amazing Girls Trip!!!!

“Mike, Thank you so much for a great time! The girls and I absolutely loved our stay at the villa. It was so beautiful. “The pictures do it absolutely no justice. The villa was BEAUTIFUL and the views are breathtaking. We loved it so much that we ended up canceling a lot of the plans we had so that we could just enjoy the space. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. You didn't lie about Stephanie's amazing cooking! We really enjoyed not having to stress too much about food. Everyone was super accommodating and helpful. From BK, to Marylin, to Clavie, everyone was so nice and really did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our time. We will definitely be coming back! ”

Dream Come True

This was truly a dream come true vacation for our family. My husband and I had been to St Lucia many years ago and wanted to return to share its beauty with our family. This spectacular villa provided the perfect opportunity. The views of the Pitons are stunning, and the home and grounds are just beautiful. We also really appreciated the staff at La Batterie. They were warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, never obtrusive, always professional. Our family enjoyed Stephanie and Bibi's delicious meals, Terry’s coffee and rain forest hike, diving, snorkeling, birding and other fun tours Clavie took us to on the island. Mike and Jennifer also did an excellent job providing information and answering all our questions in advance of the trip. We are truly grateful for the wonderful time we shared here and we all hope to return one day!

Views! Views! Views!..Exceptional Everything

We had an amazing time....the villa is very special, the saltwater pool is amazing and you are surrounded by beauty everywhere and the views from the villa were like looking at a postcard but only better! Your staff were very welcoming and were determined to make our visit special...the arrangements worked very well and we got to know them very well. For us it worked well as there was a lot to do within 30 mins of the villa, and Clavie was always on hand to take us to where we needed to go. I have already recommend the villa to a couple of my colleagues who I would think enjoy staying in 5* accommodation which is not part of a hotel complex. The property and the gardens are just amazing and you should be very proud of your parents for creating it and proud of yourself for adding to their legacy. Thank you for an amazing holiday and we hope to come back in the future.

Special Place and Very Special People

The location of La Batterie Villa is the initial Wow Factor. After settling into the villa, the experience rises past that initial response to one of deep appreciation for the staff who support your daily needs while there and their culture and history. They are the jewels of St Lucia. The history of the Villa and its location are steeped literally upon the edge of the Soufrierre volcanic cauldron enriching ones understanding of the geologic formation that is the Carribbean and its part in the continually evolving story of planet Earth. The owners of this property are to be applauded for their generosity to others in sharing this property with the world and in supporting the employment of the persons of Soufrierre whose life stories are entwined with it. Much appreciation to them!!!!

La Batterie . . . Perfect!

La Batterie was the perfect holiday accommodation for our whole family--6 adults, a toddler, and 2 babies. While the website shows its beauty, set high amidst lush flowers, bushes, and trees, overlooking Les Pitons, we all were surprised at the villa's lovely spaciousness. The staff kept the villa, grounds, and pools clean and well-maintained; the cook made delicious St. Lucian dinners when requested; the driver was available to take us all on the excursions we wanted; and the night watchman, contributed to our feeling peaceful and secure. In particular, we enjoyed the staff's graciousness in making personal connections with us all, including the little ones. We found the villa well-situated for interesting activities: scuba diving, zip lining, touring the botanical gardens and the "drive-in volcano," swimming at the nearby resort beach; and grocery shopping in Soufriere. Overall, the villa was the perfect spot for us to safely enjoy our family time with little ones. We recommend it highly.

Amazing Vacation!

We recently returned from our stay at La Batterie Villa and it was simply amazing. The villa is located in the PERFECT spot on the island and waking up to that view each morning was a treat. The property was clean and well maintained and the staff went out of they way to make sure our say was awesome. We enjoyed several meals prepared at the house and often found the local dishes better than dining out. You must request 'bakes' they are yummy and make a great snack. The villa is close enough to Anse Chastanet to enjoy their amenities. We walked down there several times for beach and snorkel access and for the Kai Belte Spa. If you get the chance, take a water taxi from Anse Chastanet to Soufriere, it's a great experience. The garden around the villa is stunning and the salt water pool is not to be missed. Make sure to save time to simply enjoy the villa, take in the view and nature. I also strongly recommend a visit to Diamond Head Botanical Gardens. I am so happy we chose to stay at La Batterie, it will be a vacation we will never forget and we hope to return one day!

Memorable Trip to St. Lucia

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us for our vacation. We could not get over the amazing views from the villa, the view of the Pitons were breathtaking. The gardens were beautifully landscaped and really made us felt we were in the middle of a tropical rain forest. Everyone and everything was great. We really enjoyed spending time with Terry. We went on a nature walk with him in the rainforest and saw his home. We also met his boys and in a very short time felt like he was part of our family. He ate with us a few times and had evening drinks with us. Your home is very special and I feel that your staff treat it as their own in a very good way. Stephanie cooked for us and her food was delicious. We went on a private boat trip with Mario (sugar boat tours) and that was a highlight for all of us. We truly hope to make it back again someday. If we do, we will definitely contact you. Thank you again for all you did to make our trip very memorable

Stunning views and wonderful service

My wife and I stayed here in July of 2023. It's a wonderful property. The views are even more amazing than the pictures show. With all of the staff available, it's like staying at a 5 star resort dedicated to just you. Stephanie cooking amazing meals and scheduling massages. Clavie driving you where ever you need to go. Bibi cleaning every day. Terry roasting coffee and BK watching over the property at night. All wonderful and very accommodating. We did walk down the hill to Anse Chastanet to enjoy the beach. We ran into Simon from Simon Says tours and did ziplining, the volcano mud baths and snorkeling through him, which was a great experience as well. Could we have done it all ourselves, yes. But Simon and Simon Jr were great tour guides. We would love to visit this property during the winter time and enjoy a cooler climate. Summertime can be a bit warmish, but there are plenty of fans to help keep you cool. I doubt you can find a nicer rental experience on St Lucia. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Breathtaking Views & Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at La Batterie. The Villa has one of the best views on the island. It was awesome to wake up every morning and see the Pitons out our bedroom window. There is a great deck off of the living room to sit and take in the views as well. My 2 teenage sons appreciated that they each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The staff was very helpful and nice. Terry brought us freshly roasted coffee that his grandparents grow and Cynthia had some great stories about her family and about the history of the villa. Clavie was a great resource and provided us with friendly and reliable transportation. He gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and activities. The villa is an easy walk to Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin. The walk home is uphill so a cab ride is probably better although we did walk home from the beach one afternoon. There is a ton to do in Soufriere. The Tet Paul Nature Walk, Zip Line, Gros Piton hike, sulpher baths and beaches were all a lot of fun. There is great snorkling at Anse Chastanet too. The Villa was very comfortable and open. The pool area was great too. I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy some time in St. Lucia.

Absolutely amazing vacation!

From the moment we started planning this trip to the very end of the trip it was spectacular and exceeded all of our expectations! We had never been to St Lucia so we had lots of questions before we booked La Batterie. All of our questions were answered promptly with great enthusiasm! We were greeted by Clavie, the driver when we landed and he was so knowledgeable about the island and so friendly. He drove us on all of our adventures and was amazing and very punctual. The views driving to the property were breathtaking! Once we arrived at La Batterie we were greeted by Stephanie and her team and they were so friendly and made us wonderful meals for the week. The views from the balcony are unbelievable. It is picture perfect and we have been asked by friends if the pictures we posted are " real"- the views are that magnificent! The grounds are beautiful on the property and the pool provided many hours of entertainment for our kids after we got home from the beach. The snorkeling is the best we have ever experienced and even saw a sea turtle! BK was the night guard of the property and such a nice guy and always checked in on us. The entire staff was amazing. La Batterie is a vacation our family will remember for years to come! It was outstanding!
