Overall property was nice, we had 15 people and did not feel like we were on top of each other. The screened in porch and backyard were great. Location was good as well, walkable to town and park.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location and the layout worked really well for our combination of 5 kids and 4 adults. Plenty of space for relaxing but also good spots for the adults who needed to do some work. We loved having a table big enough to eat together and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved just hanging out in the back yard.

Great stay. Easy check in and out process. Appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of seating and lounging areas for large groups indoor and out. Only thing, the backyard is essentially the front yard to the house behind but there are some trees to separate. Would definitely book this beautiful house again!!

Great Stay!

This is our second time staying at this property and we loved it. Amazing location and plenty of room to spread out. Carolee is super helpful and quick to respond. Love the big table and outdoor fire pit area. Note: There has been development behind the property and next to the property which isn’t reflected in the current photos.

Perfect Spot for Group Get-Away

The accommodations for our group of 11 were perfect: clean, tastefully decorated, well-stocked kitchen with working appliances, and minutes from restaurants, shopping and sight-seeing. The owner was quick to respond to my questions about the property and made adjustments to our reservation when we requested, in advance, to add another day to our stay. I would recommend this beautiful Fish Creek home to other groups our size!

Great Girls weekend!

This home has very nice and spacious bathrooms. We had 15 girls easily get ready to go out to the Trolley Tour in record time. The “sleeps 15” truly means 15 beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, no pull out couches or air mattresses included in the count! Very nice outdoor space, and the kitchen was fully stocked with baking dishes and mixing bowls for cooking!

freezer

the freezer dept of the refrig never worked .. no water no ice .. the new ice/water unit installed never worked .. there was a leak in the line .. which was never fixed .. the house was totally cleaned but we were told not to enter until the check in time of 4pm .. problem with people who checked in early .. think it's crazy to sit outside until 4pm

Difficult to deal with...home cheaply made for renting

We had a group together for a girls weekend. The home was clean enough when we arrived, but there were certainly a lot of shortcuts in the finishing of the home (I.e pots and pans sit in the floor in the cabinet as there is not bottom shelf, trim was busted up in areas). I was totally fine with this until we received a notice for "damages" - there were areas all over the home that were clearly in some rough shape, but it's a rental and we were absolutely understanding of that. Thankful we bought protection as they seem to be taking a bit off the top by claiming damages. Beware - buy protection if you rent here - id imagine they don't track existing damages from new damages as it's clear that they aren't regularly fixing things. You can hear everything through all the walls - even just basic conversation. Girls joined and parked at the home and we took a bus to a trolly tour. I received a VRBO message, a text and a call all within a minute or two and the dialog was less that pleasant for a mistake following house rules that was totally innocent and quickly resolved. Our group went over the top to clean including vacuuming and wiping everything down. Renter beware.

Great for a family, especially with an elderly person who needed a bedroom and bathroom on first level. Lots of gatherings areas, inside and out. Good location, walking distance to Fish Creek.

Overall, we were very happy with the property. This was one of two homes we rented for a family reunion and I particularly picked this house because of the bedroom/bed arrangements. It worked well for a multi grneration family with five children.The location also worked out very well
 Very close to Fish Creek and the other home we were renting.The kitchen was well equipped. The downstairs living room, dining room and kitchen were a bit chopped up, but there was a second den area upstairs, which was nice to have.A bad storm caused a power outage for part of the first day. The owner was not local and didnot offer much in terms of help with lanterns, flashlights, etc. Fortunately, the power came on after about six hours.We did have an issue with one of the bedrooms, not having much air movement and the owner did have two fans delivered which we appreciated.

Family getaway

This was the perfect house for our first visit to Door county. Location was central to so many great spots like the peninsula state park. We had 4 families staying in the house and appreciated all the indoor and outdoor seating and rooms. Kithen well equipped ad a central place for eating and chatting. Room were spacious, well designed and cute decor.

Great location


We came to Door County to participate in the Fall 50. The location was great and steps from me of the exchange points. The house was well equipped and a great fit for our group of runners and crew. Everything was as pictured and the outdoor gas grill was perfect for preparing a meal for 10.

Nice Spacious Home

Nice house overall, but odd unexpected experience.

There was a very scary incident that happened with the resident of the connecting unit late at night. Unfortunately, my party and I felt unsafe our first night there. This situation was out of the host’s control. The hosts did refund us our first night. The house itself was nice, but I would be aware there is a smaller connecting unit attached to this house.

Enjoyable stay

The place seemed to fit our family of 15 fairly well. Sleeping arrangements were a little snug, especially the room with bunk beds with a family of 5 (parents and 3 adult children). All in all we enjoyed our stay in Fish Creek.

Girls Weekend

Great location and house for 10 adults. We had a blast, the surrounding houses were quiet. Great convenient location! We loved the screened in porch! Enough beds for everyone was a plus.

Property was beautiful! Very clean and well decorated. Back yard was very inviting with a grill and fire pit. Huge dining table that worked well for eating and playing games. Well appointed with 2 coffee pots plus a Keurig.

Excellent Vacation Property

The property was excellent. It provided space for the family to spread out and enjoy everything the property had to offer. The house was very clean and well decorated. The outdoor space offered an area for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy the fire. Great location.

Troy has been building/renting property for over 20 years. We like to say that we are the 'perfect team.' Troy's strength is in the building/real estate area and I like to add that special touch to the home with paint colors and decor. We enjoy working together but even more, we love to spend time with our family and friends.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Troy and I both love the Fish Creek area. We have three children and together we like to go boating, snowmobiling, golfing and camping together. We are family oriented and fell in love with Fish Creek when we visited. It has that small town feel (like we were use to growing up) and it has so many opportunities for family activities. I personally love the beach while Troy enjoys the wooden wilderness. Here in Fish Creek, we can enjoy both
thus the name of our home 'The Treeport.'

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This home is unique in that it was built with our own sweat and love for the area. Troy put many details in the home such as inviting lighting, huge deck and cedar accents. I personally decorated the home- with decor that makes you feel like you are in a beach home from the seahorse made from driftwood to the pictures that were purchased from downtown Fish Creek.
