VILLA CORTINELLA

This property is a semi-detached house on two levels (I live in the other half but nothing is shared: house, garden and pool are completely private and independent), less than a 10-minute drive from Lucca historical walls.

Located in a quiet and strategic position to visit all the attractions in northern Tuscany, it is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and other plants.

The house, the garden and the IN-GROUND 10-meters-long swimming pool are rented a group at a time: only you will use them!

This is one of the few properties in the area with air-conditioning in all the bedrooms.

Lose to Lucca

The home truly has that feel of what an Italian villa is like. The 3 bedrooms were really large and the two upstairs both had private baths. The living space inside was limited, but most of the time we were off exploring anyway. The yard was nice with lots of fruit trees. The pool was beautiful and the host kept it very clean. Onsite parking was a plus. Our host Giacomo was very quick to respond and went out of his way to help us out with whatever we asked. He delivered fresh fruit to us picked from his yard next door. The instructions for appliances and recycling were all very clear and his recommendations for restaurants were great! He actually owns a Restaurant right down the road that we went to 3 times! Best pizza and even gluten free pizza of any we had in Italy! Pilato Pinsa Birra e Gelato, you must try it! The location is good if you plan to spend time in Lucca. It’s only an hour from Florence and about an hour+ from Cinque terre, another must see area.

Great location for visiting Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Vinci to name just a few. Host very helpful and his itinerary guidebook was best we have ever seen, lots great ideas of places to visit with useful information about where best to park etc. Good sized pool in beautiful garden.

Pas adapté pour 6 personnes

Logement propre, bien situé pour visiter la Toscane. Piscine agréable. Il y a un manque de confort général pour 6 personnes. Cuisine + salon + salle à manger = 20m². Un canapé pour 2 personnes, électro-ménagers de piètre qualité. 5 assiettes plat principal, 5 verres à eau, 2 casseroles (nous en avons demandé et reçu des supplémentaires), télé de seulement 60 cm, pas de four, pas d'aspirateur, petit lave-vaisselle (45 cm de large, 5 verres à vin. Seulement 2 chaises-longues et un relax à la piscine. Table pour manger dehors éloignée de 50 mètres de la maison.

Villa Cortinella

Giacomo ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Poolbereich ist sehr schön gelegen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Giacomo hat sich um alle Anfragen gekümmert und uns eine sehr tolle Weinprobe besorgt. Er gab uns immer wieder Tipps per WhatsApp. Sehr sehr schön. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank und auf ein Wiedersehen :-)

Urlaub im Ferienhaus

Ein ganz tolles Haus mit viel Platz. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Grosser Küchenbereich. Schöner langer Pool ideal zum Schwimmen oder einfach nur planschen. Für Kinder spitze, da großer Gartenbereichund nicht einsehbar. Der Besitzer sehr, sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Absolut zu empfehlen. Nach Lucca einige Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir haben uns mit unserer Familie sehr wohl gefühlt und uns super erholt.

Super Pool

Der Poolbereich ist super, inclusive Liegen und großem Esstisch mit Außengrill. Im Haus hätten wir uns etwas bessere Ausstattung gewünscht - Seife wäre sehr nützlich gewesen, besonders da wir - ungeplant - mitten in der Nacht angekommen sind. In der Küche gab es zwar genügend Teller, Besteck und Wassergläser, aber sonst fast nichts, keine Dessertschalen, nur 2x2 Weingläser und keine Platten. insbesondere gab es für den modernen Induktionsherd nur einen Topf und zwei Pfannen - sehr schade, denn in der Küche konnte man sich gut aufhalten. Trotzdem fanden wir unseren Aufenthalt super, weil das Wetter uns viel Zeit im Garten und Pool erlaubt hat. Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber und seine Flexibilität!

Love this place!

Great location, close to Lucca but not inside the city so it's quiet! Short 15 min taxi. Beautiful property! Host has a great pizza, beer and gelato place near by, called Pilato, that's excellent! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lucca! Host treated us like family! Grazie mille Giacomo!!

Sehr schönes Haus

Wir sind als Familie dort angekommen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Jedes Schalfzimmer mit Bad, super! Toller Pool, herrlicher Garten, alles in allem ein sehr schönes gepflegtes Anwesen mit sehr netten Vermieter. Fliegengitter an jedem Fenster, genial. Zentral gelegen für Ausflüge (Pisa, Florenz, Barga). Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Che comfort!

Casa pulitissima, spaziosa e provvista di tutto il necessario e di ogni comodità extra: condizionatori, dehors dove cenare al fresco, piscina con sedie sdraio, ampio giardino, tavolo da ping pong... Località perfetta per raggiungere in un attimo Lucca ed altri luoghi da visitare nei dintorni. La piscina è fantastica, privacy e tranquillità sono garantite, senza contare la disponibilità e gentilezza del proprietario! Vicino ci sono negozi con prodotti alimentari tipici e anche un fornito ipermercato. Ritorneremo!

Tolle Unterkunft für Ausflüge in die Toskana

Giacomo war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, der uns mit umfangreichen Informationen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugszielen versorgte. Er antwortete immer schnell und war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem die drei Bäder, die an die drei Zimmer jeweils angebunden sind, bieten ein hohes Maß an Komfort. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Der Poolbereich lag zwar einige Meter vom Hauseingang entfernt, war dafür aber sehr groß und privat. Durch die gute Lage des Hauses konnten Ausflugsziele wie Lucca, Pisa, Florenz, Viareggio oder auch Sienna gut an einem Tag besucht werden. Lucca liegt nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Entsprechend wurden vor allem die Restaurants vor Ort für Abendessen aufgesucht. Einziges Manko: Das Haus liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. In der Nähe befindet sich eine Zentrale für Krankenwagen. Entsprechend ist auch immer wieder Sirenenlärm zu hören. Insgesamt stört das aber nicht weiter und das Haus und der Gastgeber kompensieren diesen Nachteil mehrfach.

Schönes Haus mit grossem Pool und Garten im Vorort von Lucca

Wir hatten drei sehr schöne Wochen in dieser großen Doppelhaushälfte neben dem Vermieter in einem großen landwirtschaftlich gepflegten Garten. Dort befand sich auch der große Pool zur Alleinbenutzung für uns, was meine vier Buben häufig taten. Der Vermieter verhielt sich sehr diskret und zuvorkommend. Er versorgte uns mehrmals mit Tomaten aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Ausstattung der Küche ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Da kein Backofen vorhanden ist und wenig Kochgeschirr, verzichteten wir auf größere Kochgerichte. Die Lage des Hauses bietet viele Möglichkeiten. In 15 Minuten kann Lucca, in 30 Minuten der Sandstrand bei Pisa, in einer Stunde die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Florenz als auch die Wandermöglichkeiten in den Bergen erreicht werden.

Top location, we enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed our two weeks in the Villa Cortilla. The house was clean and as described. Even we found a dishwasher which was not in the description. Thank you Giacomo for installing it! Great House for vacation

We had s Great stay at the House. The pool was Great and refreshing all Day. Self-cleaning and 150 cm ,With Sun all Day. The garden has automatik watering, so all was fresh Every morning. Real Aircon in 1. Floor bedroom. Didnt really need the propelled ‘aircon’. The owner was very kind to show us How things worked. A broken sunchair was replaced when we asked, so Great serviceminded host. Only bad thing would be the trafic, But Thats the Price If you Want the supermarked etc to be close. We would gladly visit again another time.

Waren sehr zufrieden

Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibungen. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Er war immer zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Eine Bäckerei und eine Konditorei sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. In Florenz und Pisa ist man mit dem Auto schnell. Auch in direkter Umgebungen gibt es einige Dinge, die man sich ansehen sollte. Im Haus liegt eine Mappe mit guten Empfehlungen. Der Pool zur Alleinbenutzung ist natürlich super. Wenn man mit sechs Personen reist, wäre etwas mehr an Geschirr und Gläsern gut. Ein gelungener Aufenthalt

Fantastic family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Tuscany. The property was a perfect location to explore the area. We flew into Pisa and hired a car for the week. Giacomo has prepared an excellent guide with day trip itineraries which we used to visit the delights of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, the coast and surrounding hillside. The villa gave my family - wife, two teenage sons and 11 year old daughter - ideal surroundings to relax in between trips out. Lovely pool, nice garden, table tennis and good local amenities. Would highly recommend, thank you!

Toller Pool

Einfaches aber sehr sauberes Objekt. Zu jedem Schlafzimmer gibt es ein Badezimmer. Der Pool ist mit 12 m wirklich sehr groß und ist von allen Seiten sichtgeschützt. Der Vermieter wohnt nebenan, war aber sehr diskret. Wir können das Haus auf alle Fälle weiter empfehlen.

De vakantie woning is echt Toscaans, weinig luxe maar prima. Giacomo is een nette gastheer die goed te bereiken is via telefoon of app. We kregen vers fruit en groenten uit eigen tuin wat erg attent was. Toch een aantal aandachtpunten; Er zijn veel muggen aanwezig waardoor we vaak binnen hebben gezeten er is geen airconditioning, alleen maar in 1 slaapkamer boven dus het was best wel warm binnen. De keuken is erg summier ingedeeld, geen vaatwasser, geen koffieapparaat , geen schaaltjes voor soep of yoghurt deze hebben wij zelf aangeschaft en maar 3 wijnglazen voor een 8 persoonshuis. De tuin is prachtig, maar wel erg lang dus het terras om te eten is 30 meter verderop bij het zwembad, aan het huis zelf is wel een terras, maar geen tafel met stoelen om te kunnen eten. De eigenaren wonen naast de accommodatie dus deze en gasten zoals werklui gebruiken wel de tuin om doorheen te lopen. Een tip voor de verhuurder, probeer de werkzaamheden aan de tuin op een ander moment in te plannen want wij hebben wel wat overlast ervaren van het snoeien in de tuin er waren veel mensen in de tuin aanwezig voor het plukken van de vruchten en het bijhouden van de tuin. De elektrische en gemotoriseerd heggenscharen en dergelijken maakten veel geluid. De omgeving is mooi met Lucca en pisa, maar het strand is zeker 45-50 minuten rijden.

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation, plats och annonsens riktighet

Heerlijke tijd gehad in mooi huis en geweldige tuin!

Wat hebben we genoten van ons verblijf in Toscane! We hadden een mooi huis tot onze beschikking; groot genoeg voor ons gezin met 3 tieners en opa en oma erbij. De megatuin met het grote zwembad maakt het helemaal af. Heerlijk om te BBQ, zelf bramen te plukken, tafeltennissen, lezen, zonnen, relaxen en vooral genieten met elkaar. Het enige wat iets minder was, waren de vele muggen in de tuin. We zijn behoorlijk lek gestoken. Gelukkig zitten er voor alle ramen wel horren dus in huis hadden we nergens last van. En dan de zeer uitgebreide reisgids van Giacomo. Wat hebben we daar veel aan gehad en wat een leuke uitjes heeft het ons opgeleverd! De tips geven een hele goede leidraad wat er allemaal mogelijk is in de omgeving. We zijn naar o.a. Pisa, Lucca en Cinque Terre geweest. Alles op prima afstand van Cappanori. Door de tip van Giacomo ook bij Canyon Park geweest; klimmen, ziplijnen, suppen en zwemmen. Adembenemend mooi daar! Ook een dagje strand mocht niet ontbreken. Kortom een mooie centrale plek om te verblijven. In de buurt is ook een hele grote supermarkt waar je werkelijk alles kunt kopen. Wij hebben genoten en raden een verblijf in het huis van Giacomo zeker aan!

The property is drowning in green. There are oliveyards and vineyards all around, several kind of trees and bushes, a lot of lemon and orange trees, and a lovely leafy arch at the entrance of the Swimming Pool.

The sun shines almost everyday, and at the night it is beautiful to just look at the stars as the sky is really clean and the air is warm!
