Magical Garden on the Sea

A beautiful house, wonderfully organized and well-equipped. The garden is a dream, with its own kitchen and a generous table overlooking the Gulf of Castellmare. The charming village of Scopello is nearby, for a nice meal or just an Apérative in the evening. Ambra is charming, helpful and capable; a fine hostess with a wonderful abode. We loved our stay!

A True Paradiso

My daughter and I had the most beautiful stay at Ambra and family's Paradiso in Scopello. The setting is absolutely STUNNING - the waters (only steps away) crystal clear, the views spectacular, the house stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including olive oil made from the family's olive trees. Ambra's communication was excellent and clear from start to finish, and her spirit is so generous. This is a place that has been infused with love and care. How very lucky we were to land here. Grazie mille, carissima Ambra! We hope to be back soon!

Impressive view and access to private beach

Ambra and her partner were welcoming and friendly on our arrival, and the same on our departure. The location is perfect and the garden area and outdoor seating was very relaxing. The private beach is very enchanting and swimmers may need sea sneakers to walk into the water. The driveway down and up requires fitness if you want to walk up to the road, otherwise drive up and park at the top. The location is also very close to the small Scopello village which is a must, especially for the local bread, bars and restaurants, charcuterie, and great coffee and snacks

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Villetta in residence

We chose this villa based on the location, pictures and information provided on the website, information that all proved totally accurate. We were attracted by the villa's somewhat rustic and homely appearance, once again we were not disappointed. We all spent time at the local beach at the bottom of the villa's garden, as well as other local beaches either within walking distance or a short drive <10km away. We found the path across the road from the villa's compound that provided a short-cut walk up to the village of Scapello, where we enjoyed evening drinks and meals on several evenings, as well as a hike up to the small watch tower that sits above the village. Scapello is small but with many tourists serving shops, bars and restaurants. We did 2 big supermarket shops, one in Castellammare del Golfo and one in Alcomo on way back from Temple of Segesta. There is also a small supermarket, fruit and vegetable stall and bakery close to Scapello that we used on our final day. For transport (party of 5 adults) we hired a car from Palermo airport, this was essential for getting to and from the villa and for touring thereabouts. We also took a self-drive half-day boat trip from Castellammare del Golfo, this enabled us to explore, swim and snorkel as several other beaches along the coastline. The journey from airport to villa location took less that one hour (circa 55km).

La maison est idéalement placée face à la mer, à quelques pas d'une petite crique et Ambra, la loueuse est une personne trÚs sympathique, généreuse et attentive au confort de ses hÎtes. Elle a grandement facilité notre arrivée et notre départ à des heures indues. Nous l'en remercions chaleureusement et lui disons à bientÎt pour un autre séjour.

September stay

We had a lovely stay in Ambra’s house, Ambra was there to greet us and available to answer any questions we had before we arrived and during our stay. The house is in a beautiful location 2 mins walk to a tiny cove that was beautiful to swim in. We were 25 mins walk up a steep hill to the village of Scopello - with a beautiful pasticceria (we made a good attempt in our week to taste everything!) and had lovely meals in restaurants ( must mention The Trattoria by name - lovely meal). Options were limited for the vegan in our party throughout our stay. Bus services can get you to Castellammare, Segesta and Zingaro National Park, and Scopello, a good supermarket and a pharmacy are within 30 mins walk but it might be best to hire a car. We were a mixed party of 23- 80 years so definitely needed it (hire in Palermo airport or we hired from Enrico Asaro locally (we stayed somewhere else for the first week of our stay in Sicily) who also does a taxi service). We had a breeze from the sea which was welcome in the garden but as it was quite hot during our stay we were very grateful for the effective air- conditioning at night. The house was lovely with a very well stocked kitchen, gorgeous garden with beautiful views of the sea and plenty of room for us all to spread out. We were very sad to leave.

ProprietĂ  bellissima, pulitissima, dotata di tutti i confort. Il giardino Ăš un gioiello, la spiaggia privata Ăš a pochi metri, l'acqua Ăš una piscina. Le camere sono freschissime, i letti comodi.

Very nice accomondation right next to a wonderful bathing bay

It was very easy to book the villa and the description by the owner was spot on. The house had an extraordinary garden with spectacular view, lovely flowers and many places to relax in both sun and shade. The private bathing bay just minutes away with pebble beach and clear blue water. A small picturesque village only a few hundred meters away but the sorroundings were very hilly so bring good shoes! / Erika with family from Sweden

Absolutely stunning place

Ambra and family - grazie mille! Your house is just beautiful. The pictures don't do this place justice at all - it is homely, spacious, full of beautiful things, keeps you cool, and has absolutely everything you could need in it. Clean, convenient, well-stocked. And three double bedrooms! The highlight is obviously the garden - a real pleasure to be in throughout the day and evening - outdoor kitchen, gorgeous space, green, alive, stunning view of the sea, and just a minute or so stroll down the steps to the little private bay. It's easy enough to walk into Scopello, where there's a few little tourist shops, a convenience store, and a good selection of restaurants. We were really, really happy there. Ambra was such a kind host - our travel was all kinds of mixed up, and she arranged to have us picked up and met, and was unbelievably flexible. She was right though - it is definitely good to have a car - it's possible to walk to the supermarket and back (30 mins each way) but in the heat and with shopping not so fun - never mind getting everywhere else! Though there is a fairly easy bus to Castellamare del Golfo, from where you can get on the train or bus elsewhere. Anyway - absolutely gorgeous - fell in love with Sicily, and this was the perfect base. Thank you so much.

Die Terasse hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Der Garten ist liebevoll gepflegt. Innen ist die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Eine SpĂŒlmaschine wĂ€re gut. Die Familie hat sich wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Un bel endroit

Maison grande avec belle vue sur la mer. Au calme. TrÚs bon contact avec la propriétaire Ambra Lo Presti sympathique et disponible. Arrivée tardive à 1h du matin et trÚs bien reçu. Beaucoup de place dans la maison à l'intérieur et à l'exterieur. 2 belles chambres au premier , par contre celles du bas pas terribles. Literies à revoir ....

Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht & NĂ€he zum Strand

Die Ferienwohnung bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf das Meer und einen Strand, der nur etwa 50-100 Meter entfernt ist. Die Wohnung ist in einer separaten Siedlung gelegen, so dass man seine Ruhe hat und auch der Strand nicht zu voll ist (Reisezeit Juni). Die Ferienwohnung ist vollstĂ€ndig ausgestattet, so dass es an wirklich nichts mangelt. Die Ausstattung ist nicht neu, erfĂŒllt aber alles in allem ihren Zweck (lediglich die Kopfkissen waren furchtbar). Zwei der 4 Schlafzimmer haben keine richtigen Fenster, sondern Dachlichter, allerdings verbringt man die meiste Zeit sowieso auf der großen und idyllischen Terrasse. Ambra ist zuverlĂ€ssig, hilfreich und entgegenkommend. Einziger Haken sind die MĂŒcken, die es reichlichst gibt; hindert das einen auch nicht, abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, so kann es des Nachts doch stören. Ambra hat diverse Abwehrmittel bereitgestellt, aber vielleicht wĂŒrden Moskitonetze in den TĂŒren/Fenstern eine Verbesserung sein. Wir hatten eine Superzeit, danke Ambra!

Sehr ruhig in der Nebensaison, fĂŒr uns perfekt.

Haus und KĂŒche gut ausgestattet. Eines der vier Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster. Den Kamin mit gutem Abzug haben wir gerne genutzt (Aufenthalt im April). Schöner Garten mit ausreichend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten sowie kleine AußenkĂŒche und Holzkohlegrill. Wunderschöne Bucht mit kleinem Kiesstrand direkt unterhalb des Hauses. Das Haus ist Bestandteil einer Anlage von mehreren HĂ€usern an einem recht steilen Hang. Das Haus liegt in unterster Reihe zum Meer. Sehr entspannend und ruhig in der Nebensaison. Wenn in der Hauptsaison die Nachbarn links und rechts da sind und der kleine Strand voll ist, könnte es anders sein. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. SpĂ€te Ankunft kein Problem, Rotwein und Pasta standen schon bereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Séjour trÚs agréable

Belle villa avec vue magnifique sur la mer. Beau jardin. Villa bien située dans la résidence car proche de la mer. Jolie mais trÚs petite crique assez fréquentée. Village de Scopello à deux pas et à fréquenter le soir pour apéros et diners.

Endroit de rĂȘve pour des vacances au calme

Merci à Ambra pour la location de sa maison. Rien n'y manquait. Plusieurs salons d'été, cuisine d'été. Bien pratique, des espaces de vie agréables. Un trÚs beau jardin, avec une vue sublime sur la baie entre la pointe de la réserve de Zingaro et la pointe de Palermo. Superbe petite crique en dessous de la maison par un petit sentier. Je m'y baignais tous les matin vers 7h. Seul bémol la literie.

Maison conforme a la description faite, la propriétaire est accueillante, cadre sympa, et la vue du jardin est simplement magnifique, elle aspire au farniente et au repos. Nous avons passé à 7 d'agréables vacances.

"La casa Ăš situata in un comprensorio che degrada sul mare. E'' un posto molto bello, la casa Ăš bella e ben posizionata: molto bello l''affaccio sul mare, molto comoda la cucina esterna, il giardino ha sia sole sia ombra ed Ăš dotato di comoditĂ  come sedie, tavoli, sdraio, lettini e doccia esterna. La spiaggia Ăš vicina, il mare bello: la spiaggia Ăš piccola di sassi e rocce. E'' necessaria l''auto per qualunque spostamento (eccettuate le tre spiagge vicine). Le stanze da letto e i bagni sono comodi. La casa comunque Ăš dotata di tutto (frullatore, stiro, tv, asciugacapelli, etc.). Il giardino Ăš adatto ai bambini."
