Detta är ett nytt tvåvåningshus på 2700 kvm med en källare på 900 kvm på en stor privat trebostad. Fastigheten ligger direkt på den bästa delen av stranden i Celista. Huset ligger ganska långt från vägen vilket möjliggör en miljö som är lugn och lugn. Vårt läge är mycket fotogent och gästerna tar vanligtvis många minnesvärda fotografier i trädgårdarna och på marken.

På huvudnivån hittar du ett 3-st bad och ett sovrum (King). Köket, med diskmaskin och alla bekvämligheter, matsalar och vardagsrum är öppna, rymliga och mycket ljusa med en stor eldstad i Rumford. Från vardagsrummet finns det ett stort däck med utsikt över sjön med en ny grill och en bekväm skärmdörr i verandan där du kan njuta av kvällarna, om vädret eller buggar är dåligt. WiFi och kabel-TV finns.

På övervåningen finns ett 3-st bad och två sovrum (Queen / Double, Queen). Det stora loftområdet innehåller en plattskärms-TV / underhållningscenter (plus Wii Game Console) med lädersektion och lazyboy-vilstol. På den färre lägre nivån hittar du ytterligare två sovrum (dubbla / enkla våningssängar, drottning) och ytterligare 3-st bad. Ett ping-pongbord är satt upp i det öppna området med utsikt över trädgårdarna och sjön. Härifrån går du utomhus in i trädgårdarna på väg till din privata strand. Ta en kvällswiener stek eller bara koppla av vid eldstaden vid vattenkanten på småsten och sand. Ved levereras i en vedbod för din bekvämlighet. Det finns två förtöjningsböjar för två båtar och en 30 fot lång brygga för att rymma längre båtar. En rullbåt och 4 kajaker med paddlar finns.

Ett anpassat timmer-ram picknickskydd komplett med specialbyggda picknickbord och kamin och ger ytterligare ett skyddat område bland träden för privat middag och underhållning. Bredvid picknickskyddet finns en fullständig RV-pad tillgänglig för bokning på begäran.

Under de varma sommardagarna kan du njuta av luftkonditioneringen tillsammans med andra funktioner som pingpong. En mycket kort promenad tar dig till hörnbutiken och grundskolans lekplats.

Ingår i din hyresbetalning är $ 200. 00 städavgift, tvätt, gratis ved och tillgång till en paddelbåt och 4 kajaker. Vi tillåter också gäster att ta med upp till 2 husdjur mot en extra nominell avgift.

Dream Lakehouse

We stayed at this cabin in August of 2024. Beautiful and well equipped. The kids had endless activities. Awesome location for bringing a boat. Dealing with the owner was easy. I hope to return one day.

Lakefront with great beach and a great dock!

We love this place for the great layout for our large family and the amenities are fantastic. Great kitchen, large bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The place is fantastic and the owner Doug Goodyear really goes out of his way to make your stay great.

Perfect Summer Vacation

Excellent and Enjoyable Cabin

Our multi-generation family enjoyed our week at this lovely lake front cabin on a large property. There was plenty of room for the 11 of us and safe for young children. Good time was had by all.

Great family spot

We really enjoyed our stay, there was lots of room for the entire family. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We loved being on the water and took advantage of the paddle boat and kayaks provided. Doug was very helpful. Can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing

Wonderful place for a family vacation. This property was perfect for my family vacation. The house is beautiful lots of room for everyone. Everyone had so much fun. The lake is beautiful. The house is beach front and easy to keep track of the kids. There is lots to do and if you need anything there is a store in walking distances. I would stay here again.

Beautiful secluded home in a cozy little community

This house was great. A group of several families came together here for a week long vacation. The house felt very homey and welcoming. Doug was a pleasure to speak to, and called us to make sure the house was good and we had everything we needed. Access to the lake and kayaks and the paddleboat made group outings easy. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Paradise

We are a family of 10 adults and one 2 year old and our stay at this property was excellent. Everything we needed and more was available for us in the kitchen and in the house. There are 5 spacious bedrooms and the closets were all nice and big which was great for the babies crib. The location is excellent and is quiet and close to the convenience store and the grocery store in Scotch Creek. We would definitely book again!

Great family vacation

We had a great time at this cottage. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and accommodated our kids and grandkids perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the easily accessed beach and dock. We had planned to do a lot of day trips but ended up staying at the cottage most days because it was so beautiful and there was lots do to right 'at home'. Doug was very helpful in making us feel welcome and was always available if we had questions. We look forward to returning hopefully next year. An excellent vacation. Thank you!!

Wonderful! Well equipped home away from home!

Doug and Claudia's home on the water was so great for our family reunion. We are repeat visitors and the familiarity made for an extremely comfortable stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could want, and more (a food processor for making fresh salsa .. daily!). The firepit on the beach (which we were unable to use this time due to a burn ban), the water toys (2 kayaks, a pedal boat), the ping pong downstairs, an extra 'beverage' fridge just inside the walkout entry, all the deck chairs you could need, it's all there. Location is ideal: the convenience store is a few steps down the road (fresh baked cheese buns daily!), and there's an ice cream shop across the road! A few issues arose during our stay and both Doug and Claudia were right on top of them all. Highly recommend!

Perfect rental for large family group!

3 generations of our family and one dog stayed here for a week's holiday. Could not have asked for a better spot. The home is so roomy so everyone feels they have lots of space and the property is gorgeous and very private with a huge waterfront and lovely garden and grass space as well. There is so much to do in this area - water sport, beach fun, hiking and walking, biking etc. All conveniences are nearby such as gas, groceries, ice cream store but one still feels like they are 'away from it all!' We especially enjoyed the large deck areas and this home also has a screened in deck area that is enchanting! Everything anyone could possibly need was supplied and I mean everything!! Such a spacious and well stocked kitchen and with an extra fridge downstairs and a bar fridge as well, there is more than enough space for all the food that comes with a large group. The owners are very kind to supply lots of beach chairs, kayaks and a paddleboat for the use of the renters. Loved it here, not a single complaint and we plan to return!

Family vacay

This property exceeded our expectations! The house was very well equipped, and the included beach accessories were put to good use. The deck and screen room were our favorite places to hang out, and the beach right outside the house was perfect for our little ones. A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary with our kids/grandkids!

Family retreat

Our family of 10 six adults and four children under the age of five. Had a wonderful time at this amazing property. The house not only beautiful had everything you could possibly need. Extremely well setup for cooking and relaxing. Not only is it nestled in a private spot but the beach area was perfect for kids and adults alike with plenty of water toys to keep everyone happy. Our Thanks to the hosts for a memorable stay. We’ll definitely do it again😉

Great spot and spacious accommodation. The best equiped rental I have ever been in!

Cottage had everything! Lots of Kitchen utensils, all those little things that you hate to buy for a short stay like, sugar, spices, condiments, coffee filters, 3 different coffee makers etc. Very comfortable and great location right on the beach! We were a family of 4 and the place sleeps 12, so tons of room and we never really used the basementmwith the Ping Pong table etc.

Great for an extended family vacation

We stayed at this property for a multigenerational vacation (9-11 guests on any given day). The house layout was great for our three families as each group could have their own floor for sleeping and bathrooms, and plenty of space in the communal areas. The house was clean, and in great condition and the kitchen was well stocked with any equipment you'd need to cook almost any dish (even a waffle maker and slow cooker) and plenty of spices available. Mattresses and pillows were in good shape and comfy. The only thing was that you are expected to bring all linens. Sheets for seven beds plus bath, beach, and hand towels, as well as all kitchen cloths and tea towels for 11 people for a week is a lot to pack. I would have preferred to see at least some linens included and maybe have multiple sets to be laundered off site between groups and paid a higher cleaning fee. The beach is a little rocky on the walk down from the house and in the shallow area but sandy as you go out a bit further. Those with tender tootsies may want to bring water shoes. But so amazing to have the beach and dock available right outside the door.

Amazing Vacation Property!

My whole family just stayed at Doug’s lakefront property at Celista and it was an unforgettable trip! There was 8 adults and my 10 month old niece and no shortage of room, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our week vacation to the Shuswaps. Doug was very easy to communicate with and has thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He was extremely accommodating and easy to reach if needed. The photos do not do this house justice for the size of it and views.. they are amazing!! A nice private beach and a dock and buoys made it easy when we had a pontoon boat rented. I would highly recommend this rental to any family and we can’t wait to come back!

Owners are retired and reside in Calgary, Alberta. Doug was a Professional Geologist who worked in the Canadian Oil Industry for 40 years. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia and graduated from Dalhousie University. Claudia worked for legal firms in Calgary and orignally came from Ottawa, Ontario.

The property is heavily treed and is very private making it a great retreat from the rest of the world. The pebble beach and the water clarity make it a great place for all the water sports like swimming, snorkeling, boating, fishing, wake boarding, water skiing, sailing, etc.

You will be staying at one of the best locations on Shuswap Lake close to many amenities and great natural scenery. If you like water sports, this is the place for you. Thousands of people visit our area of the lake in the summer. Watersking, wake boarding, tubing, paddle boarding, swimming, sailing and fishing all take place right off our beach.
If you are a golfer Talking Rock Golf course (18 Holes ) is 20 minutes away. Anglemont Golf Course (9 holes) is 15 minutes down the road.
We are close to the Adams River which is famous for its Fall Sockeye salmon run and Crowfoot Mountain is revered as a quality snowmobile destination in winter and offroad area in the summer for motorcycles and ATVs.
