Litet byhus byggt på 1600-talet, totalrenoverat 2015. Den har 3 sovrum perfekt för 6 personer. Det första sovrummet har en stor dubbelsäng (160/200) och ligger på bottenvåningen precis intill badrummet (toalett, handfat, tvättmaskin och duschkabin). På övervåningen finns ett kök öppet mot matsalen och vardagsrummet. Det finns också ett litet sovrum med 2 enkelsängar. På översta våningen finns det sista sovrummet (WC + handfat) samt en bäddsoffa, en liten TV och ett litet omklädningsrum.

Gite en adéquation avec la proposition de location.

Points a revoir pour ce gite après notre location !!!!!Revoir la literie,mettre une alèse jetable sur tous les matelas/oreillers,et remplacer les oreillers régulièrement de toutes les chambres (voir la périodicité)Sinon,gite super agréable.Je recommande. Merci a nos hôtes pour leur accueil.

Très agréable

Très bon séjour dans un gîte bien équipé avec une bonne literie. La proximité de la route pavés en période de vandange était bruyante. Superbe accueil par David et Simone, disponible et réactifs pour leurs hôtes.. Région très acceuillante et belles découvertes. Familles R et S

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Wintzenheim. Le gîte est idéalement placé, il y a beaucoup de villages à visiter autour. Très bon accueil du propriétaire et gîte très propre. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Wintzenheim stay

A great location for touring Alsace and beyond into Germany. Our hostess was very informative about the area and recommended Eguisheim as a location to visit, and what a great recommendation it was!! The property was comfortable and well furnished, the only slight niggle was the wifi connectivity that kept disappearing, but otherwise a delightful stay.

Kurzurlaub im Elsass

Tolles kleines Winzerhaus mitten in Wintzenheim. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was wir benötigt haben. Kontakt zu den Vermietern war total unkompliziert.

Das Häuschen ist ohne Frage sehr schön hergerichtet. Leider ist die Lage nicht sehr schön. Es liegt direkt an der Durchgangsstraße und es ist durch den regen Verkehr recht laut. In der Vergangenheit hatte wohl, laut Aussage der Vermieterin, ein Mieter in der Mikrowelle Brot verbrannt. Dadurch konnte man sie nicht mehr benützen und sie riecht unangenehm und giftig. Wir baten die Vermieterin, dass wir die Mikrowelle für die Zeit unseres Aufenthalts eventuell in einem Keller oder in die Garage stellen könnten. Sie meinte, das ginge leider nicht, man könne sie nicht herausnehmen. Dazu muss ich sagen, dass die Mikrowelle lediglich mit einer Steckdose in der Wand befestigt war und es kein Problem gewesen wäre diese rauszunehmen. Das fanden wir sehr schade. Wir mussten leider die Tage mit einem ständig unangenehmen Geruch verbringen, was nicht sehr angenehm war. Zudem rochen auch sämtliche Küchenschränke und deren Inhalt nach den giftigen Dämpfen und wir haben Gläser, Wände sowie Abzugshaube erst mal gereinigt. Ich kann einfach nicht verstehen, dass man nicht einfach die Mikrowelle austauscht und die Küche grundreinigt. Schließlich war die Problematik den Vermietern bekannt! Und dann ohne schlechtes Gewissen die nächsten Mieter reinsetzt. Bei höheren Temperaturen staut sich zudem die Temperatur unter dem Dach und es ist auch nachts recht heiß. Gut geschlafen haben wir jedenfalls nicht. Wir haben unseren Urlaub zwei Tage früher beendet als geplant.

Time well spent….

We stayed for three nights as part of a tour. Simone was very happy and helpful and we muddled through with our French. Walked with our dog to the two chateaus Pflixbourg and Hohlandsbourg one morning, walked to Turckheim one evening for a drink and drove to see Riquewihr and Euigsheim which were very pretty. Nearly everythjng was closed as out of season, but in a way, nice as it wasn’t heaving with people. Visited Colmar and had wonderful coffees and lunch outside one of the many restaurants, in the sun (we were lucky with a 20 deg. C day in March). About 50m from the property there is a boulangerie (one of three) plus an Auchan supermarket with fuel. Thank you for a wonderful stay Simone and David.

Perfect Stay!

I can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay at this property and our lovely host Simone! The property was exactly as advertised. Check in was quick and efficient. The property has three levels that allowed for each of us to have privacy, yet plenty of room in living area for us all to gather and share time together. Simone was so kind and made us feel like family. The home 's location is perfect! Only a few minutes drive to Colmar and the surrounding lovely towns, and was a quick drive down the street to the local grocery store and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Unit included secured parking. We were extremely close to Germany and was able to visit the Black Forest and numerous castles. This is exactly what you are looking for if wanting a perfect, quaint, Alcatian holiday! Would HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely return on our next visit to this area! Thank you David & Simone!!

Living Inside A Postcard

We had an enchanting time in Wintzenheim. The hosts were so kind to the children, so helpful at our check in and available when we needed them, without being at all intrusive. The location could not have been better - next door to a wine and cheese shop and 2 doors down from a boulangerie, where the kids walked down to get our fresh croissants and baguettes for the day each morning. Wintzenheim was right in the centre of all the tourist destinations we wanted to visit but outside the crowds. Living between the exposed beams, with windows looking out over the (parking) courtyard and looking up to Hohlandsburg castle I felt like we were staying in a time machine. We loved it here, and would happily return. Well equipped and lots of space and amenities

Séjour de 4 nuits - fin avril

Gîte très bien situé, et très bien équipé. Accueil sympathique, et propriétaire réactif. Bruit des voitures sur pavés audible mais pas forcément dérageant. Merci !
