Super sejour

Magnifique sejour aprĂšs un pĂ©riple de 15 jours. Nous nous sommes poses avec plaisir Ă  la villa MIADNA, villa spacieuse pour accueillir notre groupe permettant Ă  chacun de conserver son espace personnel. Terasse conviviale avec vue sur la plage ou l on se retrouvait pour des soirĂ©es memorables. Personnel discret et attachant, lolo Ă©tant une super cuisiniĂšre. Nous avons prolongĂ© notre sejour sur l ile aux nattes (au large de StĂ© Marie) 2 sĂ©jours qui se complĂštent parfaitement et Ă  ne pas manquer !! On revient chez des souvenirs plein la tĂȘte !!!

Nous avons passé un super séjour (6 adultes) dans cette maison trÚs conviviale à 10m de la mer. Le personnel est adorable, le chauffeur Barthélémi un vrai GO toujours disponibel et la voiture de qualité. Le lieu est trÚs tranquille, la ballade sur la plage magnifique, les couchés de soleil grandioses; au menu tous les jours, langoustes, gambas, poissons préparés par lolo et....massages. Bonheur et ZEN...vivement le prochain séjour déjà réservé

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans la villa Ă  Magunga Nous Ă©tions 10 et la villa nous a permis d'avoir suffisamment d'espace pour tous. En effet, en plus du bĂątiment en dur disposant de 2 chambres et d'un salon trĂšs agrĂ©able, il y a 3 chambres dans le jardin avec 2 autres salles de bain.La terrasse avec vue sur mer dispose d'un salon oĂč il fait bon se prĂ©lacer.est particuliĂšrement agrĂ©able Personnellement j'ai aimĂ© cette cpnstruction traditionnelle.L'endroit est calme et l'on est pas du tout importunĂ© sur la plage. La cuisiniĂšre nous a fait de bons petits plats.

"Rapport qualité/prix inegallé pour cette maison tres agreable ,les 2 pieds dans l eau ou presque.Elles possedent 2 grandes chambres climatisées,agreables et silencieuses permettant un bon repos pendant la nuit,l adsl pour rester en contact facilement avec sa famille et partager son sejour,ainsi que la television par satellite pour rester informé avec les chaines traditionnelles fraçaises .La cuisiniere est d un tres bon niveau,elle cuisinne des fruits frais,du poissons,des legumes,des crevettes et meme des langoustes que l on trouve a un prix raisonnable autour de la maison et l on peut meme se faire masser a domicile.Il y a la possibilité de louer un 4x4 a un prix tres abordable avec un chauffeur extremement sympathique et serviable.Quand le bateau est a l eau plutot en saison seche ,on peut le louer pour une partie de peche ,faire du ski ou de la bouée pour les enfants ! le proprietaire est tres sympathique,facilement joignable par internet et l on peut lui poser toutes les questions possibles. C est un petit coin tres agreable loin des sites touristiques ,ou l on se sent en securité (il y a un gardien tres serviable) avec une population acceuillante et sympathique. Mes enfants ,ma femme et moi esperons bien pouvoir y retourner dés l an prochain ."

"Nous Ă©tions un grande fa...

"Nous Ă©tions un grande famille d''une dizaine de personnes et la maison Ă©tait parfaite pour notre nombre. Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour dans cette maison, vĂ©ritable havre de paix. Des pecheurs et des vendeurs de fruits divers passaient tous les matins nous proposer leur produit. Les gardiens Lala et Mahafaly sont des personnes trĂšs serviable, Lala nous avait apportĂš un gros panier de mangues et elle nettoyait la maison tous les matins. Des serviettes et du linge de maison Ă©tait prĂ©vu Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. Mr Haja, le gĂ©rant est Ă©galement trĂšs sympathique et serviable, il nous a organisĂ© une excursion au parc d''Ankarafantsika sur simple demande. Le seul petit bĂ©mol c''est que l''un des sanitaires des dĂ©pendances Ă©tait dĂ©fectueux au moment de notre sĂ©jour, ce qui n''Ă©tait pas pratique comme on Ă©tait nombreux. Aussi, les dĂ©pendances n''Ă©tant pas des constructions en dur mais des cases en falafa, la chaleur y Ă©tait suffocante, surtout la nuit. Heureusement que chaque chambre Ă©tait dotĂ©e d''un ventilateur. Nous y retournerons volontiers pour un prochain sĂ©jour et recommandons sans hĂ©sitation. Comme c''est un peu loin de tout, ce qui fait le charme de la maison, il faut ĂȘtre vĂ©hiculĂ©."

"Comme les fois précédentes, la villa était conforme à nos attentes. Quant-au personnel, les uns ou les autres ne savent quoi faire pour nous satisfaire, pour répondre à nos attentes et tout dans la discrétion. Merci à Haja, Mahafaly et la cuisiniÚre (la soeur de Doly). Un seul souhait, y revenir pour nous retrouver en famille, comme chez nous !"

"séjour trÚs agréable, reposant. Yvette la femme de ménage, trÚs gentille et discrÚte, le gardien Mahafaly discret, gentil et serviable, le roi du barbecue. Lolo, une cuisiniÚre exceptionnelle qui nous a fait des petits plats trÚs savoureux et notre jeune chauffeur Barthélémy, toujours à l''écoute, attachant, toujours le sourire, serviable et d''une trÚs grande gentillesse. Des parties de peches aves les pécheurs locaux en pirogue, de trÚs bons moments. Les gens du village sont trÚs gentils et n''hésitent pas à nous faire des petits signes amicaux. Nous n''avons pas eu besoin des services du gérant Haja, car tout c''est bien passé, mais nous avons fait la traversée de majunga à la capitale et nous avons passé un bon moment ensemble dans la voiture. La maison est trÚs bien. Nous avons quitté cet endroit à regret."

"Nous ne pouvons que recommander vivement cette location, non seulement parce que Madagascar est trÚs belle mais surtout:ses habitants sont trÚs,trÚs gantils et serviables. "We spent 21 wonderful da...

"We spent 21 wonderful days at Villa Miadana and would highly recommend the experience to anyone. The house is located directly on a beautiful strip of beach north of the city. It has an open shaded veranda where we spent most of our time. The living/dining room area is comfortable. The satellite TV gets a few French channels and BBC World. With such a beautiful view of the ocean, we didn’t’ need to watch TV. The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, a huge refrigerator/freezer and an additional large stand alone freezer. The plates, utensils, pots, pans are entirely sufficient. The house has one WC and a bathroom with a shower area. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double and a twin. All the beds have mosquito nets that we had to use every night. Each bedroom also has easy to operate air conditioners, which are effective because these rooms have ceilings (while the rest of the house, with the exception of the ceilinged bathroom and WC, are covered by a charming thatched roof; it’s enough to keep out sun and rain, and that’s all you need). Behind the house is a separate building with two more bedrooms (thatched roof, no ceiling this time) that we didn’t use. Also there is a shaded ping-pong table. If you did not care about the ceilings, you could sleep up to five couples and a single, but only two couples and one single would get rooms with A/C. We stayed during the month of October and only saw one day of rain. The rest of the time it was 27-34°C during the day. The nice thing about the house is the nearly constant ocean breeze, making it considerably cooler than the town of Mahajanga. By sunset the breeze often intensifies keeping the mosquitoes away. The staff working at the house are outstanding. With the price of the rental comes a house cleaner, Yvette, and a guard/gardener, Mafali. Yvette is friendly but shy. Each day she cleaned the entire house thoroughly and washed and ironed clothes. Mafali lives behind the house and is also a hard worker and enjoyable to be around. Both workers also act as sous-chefs, barbequing, peeling or slicing for the great and powerful Lolo. Lolo, the cook, is the true star in this ensemble.. She charged 10,000 Aviary per day (€3.84) for her labor to produce mouth-watering, restaurant quality meals. Every three days, we would take her into town and she would spend about 60,000 Aviary (€23) to feed two adults and our son for those three days. This is pretty extravagant by local standards, but well worth it. Both lunch and dinner included two savory courses. In addition, we would spend a bit more at Score, the supermarket with lots of imported items from France. Lolo cooked better than any restaurant that we visited while in Madagascar so we stopped going out! In the morning, sellers would approach the house offering fresh lobsters, prawns, shrimp, smoked fish, mangos at amazing prices. Lolo has been well trained and presented us with many delicious meals. The only source of frustration was with the car/driver. We booked the SUV and driver for the length of our stay. Shortly before our arrival, the SUV was involved in an accident and was no longer available. The property manager Haja did his best to find alternatives. This meant using three different vehicles during our stay. Because you pay for petrol separately, it seemed like we were always losing out on having put in too much gas in and then switching cars. Normally this would not be an issue if the same car of used each day. My suggestion would be if you are not renting the vehicle continuously simply work out a price per trip for what you’d like to do. For example, 22 km round trip visit to Mahajanga might cost 50,000 Aviary. Trip to Cirque Rouge might be 75,000 Aviary. Then make sure that the trip price includes the petrol so there is no confusion. Five times a different vehicle showed up from the previous day and it didn’t have much petrol. "Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments. La villa est spacieuse, bien agencée et surtout bien équipée.La mer est belle la plage est propre. Mme Yvette,la femme de ménage et M. , le Gardien ont été exemplaires; Quel bonheur de se voir proposer,tous les matins, de gros camarons,des langoustes,des crabes et du poisson à n''en plus finir... et pas chers du tout (3 à 5 euros le kilo !!!!). "This is a great house in...

"This is a great house in an extremely beautiful location right on the beach front of the village of Moroala, about 15-20 minutes by car from the western port city of Mahajanga. It is rare to find such a tranquil, clean and unpolluted beach as this. Each morning, from the shaded verandah, you can see the small fishing boats (pirogues) setting off for deeper waters, with their triangualar sails set against the wind. In the evening there are the most beautiful sunsets over the Mozambique Channel. The beach itself is clean and free of the plastic objects and other detritus etc usually washed up on the beaches of many other developing countries, and is free of mass tourism developments. The house has air-conditioning in both bedrooms and the main bedroom looks out onto a beautiful cool garden, as does the front verandah, which is perfect for whiling away the day. There is a dining room/lounge area with satellite television. The verandah also has table and chairs for eating alfresco, overlooking the garden and the sea, and comfortable chairs for lounging about. Each morning, sellers of fish, prawns, crayfish, tropical fruits and vegetables come to the front gate to ask if you need anything for the day. The seafood, straight from sea to table, is cheaper here (and fresher) than in most other parts of the world. There is an onsite caretaker who lives with his wife next to the property. He and his wife are lovely people. They will advise you on whether the seafood on offer is really fresh, and will clean and barbecue your fish, crayfish and prawns on a traditional Malagasy brassiere. A young house lady comes to clean each day, so the house is always clean and well-maintained. A cook is also available for a modest daily sum if you prefer not to cook for yourself. The house is well provisioned with everything you might need, and the kitchen has modern and traditional cooking implements. The city of Mahajanga is an architectural delight, with many buildings in the old city dating from the colonial years, with wide verandahs and collonades; In Mahajanga there are supermarkets and traditional Malagasy markets selling everything from fresh vanilla pods (delicious when added to your freshly ground Malagasy Arabica or Robusta morning coffee) to local and imported French cheeses. Madagascar offers perhaps the best quality and greatest range of fresh foods you are likely to find anywhere - a true culinary and gourmet's delight. In the evening in Mahajanga, the local people promenade along the seafront until late evening. Sellers of delicious local treats are spread along its length. A car is available with the house at a reasonable additional price (with driver) or you can walk about 15 minutes along a small track to take local buses or taxis into town. It is also possible to make day excursions to parks and other sites of interest in the region. I recommend this house and region to anyone: whether individual, small group, or family with young children, looking for a restful holiday by the sea, in an unspoiled region. If you are disposed to treat the local people with respect and friendship, you will learn a great deal about the customs of the Malagasy, particularly the Sakalava people who inhabit the western coast of Madagscar - and you will have the holiday of a lifetime."

"C'est un endroit tout Ă  fait idyllique au bord du canal du Mozanbique, une terrasse de rĂȘve pour siroter les mojitos et autres ti-punchs. Il faut avoir un vĂ©hicule pour faire les courses^de temps Ă  autres mĂȘme si tous les matins on a achetĂ© poissons, langoustes, camarones et fruits exotiques aux pĂȘcheurs ou jardiniers qui passaient devent la maison... Toute l'Ă©quipe est super sympatique et efficace et notre sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© magnifique. On a dĂ©jĂ  envie d'y retourner!"
