Renoverat med respekt för det historiskt-arkitektoniska sammanhanget där det står, saknar det inte de modernaste bekvämligheterna. Under renoveringsarbeten togs det fantastiska taket med synliga balkar fram; de valda möblerna är resultatet av unika handgjorda skapelser, liksom dörrarna till rummen, trogna reproduktioner av forntida modeller med karakteristiska bultar.
Väggarna är prydda med handgjorda kopparlyktor och ficklampor och fantastiska Flandern-vävtapeter med scener från medeltiden.

Excellent place

The pictures barely do it justice. It was a perfect medieval spot in town. The host was fabulous. The fireplace kept us, warm and toasty the views from the up top deck!!!

Amazing Apartment in Quintessential Medieval Town

We had an unforgettable stay in Tivoli! Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and our hostess was professional and welcoming. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and full of historic charm — a perfect blend of modern amenities and medieval character.The location was unbeatable. Right in the heart of the old town, we were just steps from great restaurants, shops, and bakeries, and within easy walking distance to all the main attractions — Villa d’Este, Villa Gregoriana, and more. Tivoli’s cobblestone streets, scenic views, and rich history made every walk an experience.Our three teenage kids loved it too — from the unique atmosphere of the apartment to exploring the town’s hidden corners and grabbing gelato in the piazzas. There was something for everyone, and we all felt completely at home.Evenings were especially magical — quiet, peaceful, and perfect for soaking in the surroundings. This apartment gave us a true sense of place, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay in one of Italy’s most beautiful towns.

Perfect and unique!

Host was amazing. Waited for us and held a parking spot, helped us out with the luggage and planning our trip to Rome and was quick to respond to any inquiries. It was like going to a family member’s house. Tivoli was awesome. Beautiful place and it was wonderful walking around. This was the perfect place to stay for a family doing Italy on a budget and wanting to get to Rome easily and not break the bank (or stay with all the crowds). I’d recommend this place!!

Spacious apt with lovely views

Alexandra is one of the kindest most helpful hosts you may ever find. She provided us with so much helpful information about restaurants, attractions, and transport. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking necessities and quality toiletries are provided for bathing. The apt is super cute, nicely decorated, well maintained, clean, and has the most beautiful views of the towns below and of the sunsets. The city of Tivoli is a quaint town with a lot of history. Two to three days are needed to explore the Villas. There are several family friendly restaurant choices in the nearby piazzas.

Ancient apt with modern amenities

Once we realized we weren't in Kansas anymore we embraced this ancient town. The apt was very comfortable,clean ,warm, modern , roomy with decor that was to point with medival era, like 1500 AD. Hard to image ? Yes but we were soaking up history with a latte. Hello, does it get any better. Our hostess Allessandra is named after parts of Tivoli and she is fantastic. Every need was met.We recommend it highly.

What a great find!

We spent two days slowly touring Tivoli and this was the perfect place to stay. Very nice and very interesting. A bit chilly in the evening and mornings, so bring something cosy to wear. Alessandra is a great host. A bit challenging to find at night, but worth the search! The roof top is a great place to hang.

Very enjoyable stay

The host was very helpful and made the checkin/out process very easy. The apartment is spacious, with a well set up kitchen, comfortable beds and atmospheric. The stairs to get to the apartment kept us fit and it was a short walk to lovely restaurants and shops in Tivoli. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the train station so great to get the train to and from Rome and stay somewhere more peaceful and still really interesting. We really enjoyed our stay and would do so again.

Warm, welcoming and beautiful

Stunning character property, with a warm welcome from Alessandra. Close to amenities and a train journey to the centre of Rome. The apartment had everything we could have required for our stay, whilst being clean and tidy. Alessandra was a fantastic host.

geschmackvolles mittelalterliches Ambiente mit modernem Komfort

Die großzügige Wohnung mitten im Centro storico von Tivoli liegt ruhig und hat 2 sehr nette Schlafzimmer zum originellen Hof. Die Ausstattung mit vielen Details ist originell und geschmackvoll. Zum Glück konnten wir die Terrasse mit schönem Blick auf Tivoli und die Wasserfallschlucht jeden Abend genießen. Vielen Dank an Alessandra für die Super - Betreuung und die guten Tipps !

If you want a real Italian experience this is your place.

Loved it all. The apartment is huge and terrace view it beautiful. I wanted to cry when it was time to go... and Alessandra was so easy to work with! My 3rd trip to Italy and Tivoli is not to be missed!!!

Great place, charming host

Staying here you feel like you are living in a medieval movie scene. It is a beautiful apartment in the center of ancient Tivoili. Walkable to incredible sites of Ancient Rome. It is near the train station so you can get there from Rome and enjoy the apartment and go to a different restaurant every night like we did. The most interesting pizza we had is at Alice take out. A must try for lunch. I highly recommend this apartment but you must be able to take steps up to the apartment and also around the scenic little town of Tivoli.

Felt Like Italy!

Our family of 5 loved the place. As soon as we drove down the streets of Tivoli and walked up the stairs to the apartment, we felt like we were having an authentic Italian experience. The apartment is excellent and well-stocked. It is modern, clean, and comfortable and right in the heart of narrow old streets and homes. Alessandra is a fantastic host. She helped us upon arrival for restaurants and trip ideas. Before our departure, she went out of her way to assist us in various tasks. She cares for her clients and took time to make us have a great experience. The train is close for day trips to Rome and two of the villas are within walking distance. I highly recommend this apartment.

Appartamento incantevole a pochi km da Roma

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni in questo appartamento a cavallo del capodanno. I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili, l'appartamento è una vera chicca, arredamento con attenzione ai dettagli e fornito di tutto (c'è pure il ferro da stiro!). In 20 minuti si raggiunge la metro B di Roma, meno di un ora per il Colosseo. Lo consiglio a chi vuole visitare le splendide ville di Tivoli e come base per visitare Roma spendendo meno. Massimo, Firenze.

A really great place to stay while in Tivoli!

My wife, daughter and myself stayed here for one week. We arrived on a very late flight and Alessandra had arranged for a pickup from the airport for us. She met us at 1 AM and we immediately felt welcomed. The apartment is very comfortable and a wonderful place to use as a base to explore. The wifi worked great so I was able to keep up with work. Many of the attractions of the area are within a 10 minute walk of the apartment. One of our favorite things was walking about one minute to the neighborhood "bar" for espresso and pastries each morning. Personally, I enjoyed the rooftop patio area with a nice glass of beer or wine and being able to look out at Rome in the distance. This is a historic building and a historic town. Everything you could ask for is within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. I cannot think of a better introduction to Italy than a stay here! Five stars for sure!!

Perfect Apartment in Beautiful Town

This charming apartment was right in the mostly pedestrian old part of Tivoli with easy access to nearby parking. It was such a delight to climb up the stone steps from the cobbled alley, through the apartment and then onto the rooftop patio that gave out onto a fabulous view of the old town, the hills and the plane of Rome when we first arrived. The apartment was perfectly clean and well maintained. Alessandra was lovely and very helpful and informative about local restaurants and markets. We were only there for a few days and planned to see the Villa D'Este and Villa Adriana and she helped us enormously by knowing the opening days of each place, saving us from missing out on seeing the Villa D'Este. She also pointed us the the steep and narrow streets where the Presepi ?? Creches are displayed in the windows at the holidays. This was the perfect place for us take a relaxed approach to our arrival in Italy, wandering around the streets, eating marvelous food, being awed by the beautiful gardens and incredibly rich history. I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone who has the great good fortune to spend time in Tivoli.

"We had a lovely unfortun...

"We had a lovely unfortunately only one night in this charming apartment, and our children followed for a further 7 days, they also loved it. I would definitely book again if we ever return to Tivoli, as we came in November we were unable to use the pretty balcony, another reason to return in Spring or Summer."

"Staying in Alessandra''s...

"Staying in Alessandra''s apartment really added to the magic of our visit to Tivoli. The apartment was full of medieval charm yet very comfortable with all the modern amenities. The apartment is in the heart of the old town and has stunning views over Tivoli and Rome, the Duomo and historic ruins. The rooftop terrace is a very cool spot from which to take it all in. Very quiet, warm and with good security. Alessandra was the perfect host, giving us a very warm welcome even though we arrived two hours later than expected in the middle of a thunderstorm! She gave us excellent advice about what to see and do in Tivoli (there is a lot!), and even lent us umbrellas! Couldn''t have asked for more. This is a special apartment. I would recommend studying the map of Tivoli before arriving as it''s a little hard to find (but Alessandra was helpful with this) but worth the effort--on entering it feels like you''ve discovered a treasure."
