We didn't want to leave!
We spent a total of 45 days in jan-feb in this wonderful house in the heart of Tuscany and we just wished we could have stayed longer. The view is almost a cliché, you open the windows in the morning and look out over the rolling Tuscan hills and olive orchards and in the distant you can see Sienna, and it's quiet. The house is very stylish, comfortable and well equipped so you won't miss anything to make your holiday a restful and peaceful stay. You can make day trips by car to Sienna, Montalcino, Montepulciano and other lovely places and if you're into wine and great food, this is the place to be. In the shops around you find meat, cheese and veggies that taste like they are intended to taste and of course the wonderful gelato. Mr Adi who takes care of the property is a star and helps out with anything you could require with a smile and we will miss him and the owner Mrs Niessen is very accommodating and friendly. We were here in the winter but could easily imagine how spectacular and comfortable this house is in the summer season when you can enjoy the outside area with the pool as well. And don't feel that you have to bring books, the library is very extensive and inspirational and the hifi equipment is outstanding (I'm a musician so that is very important to me:)). We left feeling like better people with a tad of that Italian "la bella figura" and hope to be able to come back for a stay soon again. We can totally recommend this refined and pleasant country house, far away from anything that would resemble as touristic. Many thanks!
