La Pizzichina är en mycket charmig gammal stenvilla från början av 1600-talet där tiden tycks stoppa.
Det ligger på en kulle med en fantastisk utsikt, mot den vackra medeltida staden Todi i hjärtat av Umbrien. Utmärkt för en oförglömlig semester ...

Den gamla bondgården har omsorgsfullt omvandlats till ett varmt lanthem med vackra antikviteter och bekväma moderna möbler som matchar de gamla terrakottagolv och takbjälkar. På bottenvåningen, ett rymligt vardagsrum och ett mycket trevligt kök öppet in i trädgården och en sten loggia omgiven av en välskött trädgård med omfattande gräsmattor. En andra vardagsrum och en TV och läsrum på första våningen ger alternativa områden för att slappa av. Strax nedanför huset ligger poolen på stenlagd terrass med gott om trädgårdsmöbler placerade för att njuta av enastående utsikt över Todi och den fantastiska omgivande landsbygden.

Stort vardagsrum som leder ut i trädgården. Stort, välutrustat kök som leder ut under en loggia med ett matbord och trädgårdsmöbler. Tvättstuga. Stort badrum med dusch. Möblerad loggia som vetter mot dalen och Todi.
Första våningen:
Dubbelrum med eget badrum med dusch. Dubbel [konvertibel till tvilling vid förfrågan] och tvåbäddsrum dela badrum med dusch. Vardagsrum med öppen spis. TV-rum. Matsal med öppen spis.
Översta våningen:
Dubbelrum. Dubbelrum. Badrum med badkar och dusch.

Grunder
Fastigheten ligger inom en 27 hektar stor fruktodling gränsad av ett lapptäcke av kuperade fält. Trädgården har omfattande sluttande gräsmattor prydda med vackra gamla träd. Poolen, 6 x 12 m / 20 x 39 fot, ligger under huset på en bred terrakotta terrass med solstolar och en liten pergola för skugga. En cabana i närheten har en dusch med varmt och kallt vatten.

Villa Todi - a great place

We were a family of three generations, 12 pax in total, and we had a great experience for two weeks at Villa Todi. The staff took good care of the house, garden and pool and the house were very spacious as well as the garden. Todi is a lovely little town with fantastic views and good restaurants. The is a couple of other really nice towns/villages 30-40 min away from the house and also the wine district of Montefalco is close by so we had no problems to entertain ourselves for 14 days. The children went for rafting and it is also possible to climb if you are in for a more physical experience. All in all - 5 stars! Peter with family

Great house!

We had a family of 8 adults staying in this house for a week. The house and property around it were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The area is probably the best and most convenient area to explore Umbria - about 10 minutes drive to Todi, and under an hour to other medieval towns of Umbria - Gubbio, Assisi, etc. The view from the house is gorgeous - you are on a hill, overlooking Todi, just stunning. The kitchen was well stocked, you have a barbecue, there are grapevines and fig trees (we enjoyed fresh figs from the trees!), there is a beautiful pool. Plenty of space for a big family or a group of friends. The owners were very responsive in all communications. The house is a little difficult to find, but the owners guided us to it perfectly, and the housekeeper was there to meet us. It was a perfect vacation, and if we return to Umbria, we will definitely want to stay here again. Umbria is so beautiful, people are so warm, and this villa is just a perfect place to stay to experience it!

Living a week in a dream of a home!

We spent a blissful week at La Pizzicchina recently and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the home itself, its furnishings, the gardens, the amazing view of Todi and the huge swimming pool. We looked at the pictures in the ad again after and there is not a single thing that was not there. Moreover, the owners were very helpful during the booking process. When meeting Signora del Bono upon arriving at the property, she showed us all around and was very lovely and accommodating. It was like visiting a favourite aunt's house, as all private things are there and one feels not so much in a rental as a guest in a lived in house. It was also very pleasant that a cleaning lady came by every other day and invisibly cleaned kitchen and bathrooms. All in all we had a hard time leaving after a week and will most definitely be back! Grazie from Munich, Germany, Martina

Great villa

We spent an unforgetful time in the wonderful Todi, Italy. The house was better than expected as there was much more room indoors and outdoors as originally thought – the pictures in the website just don’t do justice. The owner showed us around the house once arrived and checked up on us to ensure everything was ok. 14 people are able to stay here confortably. The pool was great, large and deep and provided much needed refreshment during the heatwave! The sunlounges by the pool were in a good condition. The garden surrounding the house was neatly kept. The house, garden and pool were tidied by the housekeeper and the groundskeeper daily or bi-daily. We opted for cooking at the house by ourselfs and the kitchen was fitted with the necessary pots and pans. The house has a massive pizza oven and making pizzas was a great experience (the oven was prepped ready by the friendly groundskeeper). As the main reason for our visit was to celebrate ones birthday, we pre-ordered a tartaletti (an italian style cake) from the owner to be baked for us and it was delivered ontime at 7 am as we requested (exellent service!). And it was delicious! Over all we are very happy about our visit to the Villa and the time spent there.

The house exceeded our expectations!

The grounds of the villa are absolutely stunning. The views are breath taking! The pool is huge; perfect for 14 people and long enough to do lengths in. The seating areas outside the house are perfect for playing games, reading books and cooking big meals for everyone to enjoy outside. The rooms inside the house are all very comfortable, cool and spacious.The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to cook en masse in. Roberta was very helpful and friendly, please thank her again from us! Todi is a beautiful little town. We enjoyed meals out there 3 times in the week. It is very easily accessible by car, and the traditional Umbrian food we had there was delicious! We would love to return to Todi, particularly to this villa. Thank you!

Maison charmante dans un cadre dépaysant

La vue sur l’adorable bourg de Todi est inoubliable et fort romantique changeant d’aspect au gré du temps ; avis aux peintres et dessinateurs. La maison pourrait être un château médiéval si elle avait une tour. La cuisine est très bien équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses et offrent une magnifique vue. Le clou est la piscine en contrebas de la terrasse, accessible par des marches en pierre et bordées, de figuiers odorants, de grenadiers et de grands palmiers. Elle-même est bordée d’immenses cyprès, de transats à auvent - le top - avec vue sur Todi bien sûr. Une véritable invitation au farniente (mais plein de villes superbes à visiter aux alentours !). L'entretien régulier de la piscine, du jardin et de la maison permet à cette fabuleuse demeure de rester parfaite. Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible.

Delightful house in a stunning, tranquil position

We stayed at La Pizzichina for 2 weeks in August and could not recommend it highly enough. The house is large, has great charm and all of the rooms are spacious. The configuration with the bathrooms is excellent. The kitchen is well stocked and leads onto a large terrace overlooking Todi. The garden is beautifully maintained and has many areas for sitting out and enjoying the fabulous views. The pool is glorious in every respect and gets the sun for the entire day. You are surrounded by fields and there is complete tranquility. The staff are exceptionally friendly and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Todi is ideally situated for visiting Umbria and the southern parts of Tuscany. A great find!

Pizzichina is a very special house in a very special place. The views across to Todi is breathtaking

This was our second visit with 4 Geandchildren and their parents. Plenty of room in the house and a beautiful pool where we spent most of our time. We had delicious dinners prepared by a delightful cook and the charming maid.Despite no aircon plenty of fans were available in the bedrooms . We had a wonderful holiday and hope to go back again.

amazing vacation!

This is Just a beautiful place! Clean, specious, amazing view, perfect for families. Kids were constantly enjoying the pool , Todi the nearest town offers restaurants, ice cream places and beautifull sceanery. Carlo and his family were responsive to any issues or questions we had. Thank you for a great vacation!
