Best place to stay in Marfa! Loved this house! Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, loved the shower and outdoor tub! On the edge of town, very quiet. Loved reading about the history of this house! The details Terry put into this house are amazing! Great books to read as well. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing time! Loved the house during the stay in the off season in Marfa. It was definitely home away from home for the weekend! Came back to Austin refreshed!

An absolutely charming house for a fantastic stay in West Texas!

Terry's house is charming and cozy; the perfect place to base yourself from to explore Marfa and Big Bend. While the house is small, the layout worked great and had such a sense of spaciousness.

It's always a pleasure to have nice guests stay in my house. Guests who appreciate and take care of the place and leave it in excellent condition upon departure. They are very much welcome to come back at any time for another visit and anyone considering renting to them should do so without hesitation. Greatly appreciated.

Loved the rustic modern design of this home! Feels like staying in the coolest folk art gallery. Loved all the pieces and the handmade furniture and architecture. We were there during a snow and ice storm in late January and we stayed toasty warm with the heaters in each room. The owner was very kind making sure all was good. Want to go back one day when there isn’t an ice storm!

Cozy place and beautifully decorated

Looks like the pictures and the host was helpful and responsive. We had everything we needed. The location is about a mile from downtown Marfa and easy to walk to if needed.

Quaint Marfa Adobe

Beautiful little home on the edge of town that has been curated with years of art work and other finds creating a special place to stay in the desert of West Texas. Terry has put a lot of time into making sure the home offers a unique experience in Marfa. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible visit to Marfa!

Such a great experience! We loved the house and the patio had a perfect view of sunsets. Terry was incredibly helpful and responsive. Will definitely be back!

EXCELLENT property and host

Terry built this home with his own hands. Much of the furniture and art was also built/created by him. We were very impressed with the house, and level of communication from the host. Would definitely stay here again!

Unique Historical House

Great little comforted stop in Marfa.I wasn't aware of it being right next to the cemetery so it through off my young daughter. The comfortable furniture and luxurious linens brings a cozy homey feel to this historical property full if unique features.
