    Excellent apartment

    The property was as described and spacious for us 5 adults. It would have been tight for 8 adults. The low roofs did not worry us but it was good to have had forewarning so we were not surprised. Easy ground floor access and excellent location near the slopes. We hired bed linen and it was very clean. Communication with the hosts was easy. Dealing with the conciergerie was stressful and it is not worth paying for their cleaning as they want you to totally clean the kitchen and make the beds anyway. Not much left for the cleaners to do for 120 Euros! It was rather unnecessarily controlling and stressful dealing with them. But it was all OK, the keys were available for a late arrival and they did lend us a fondue set. We would recommend this appartment.

    Nice Apartment, Poor Agency

    Apartment is in a very good location in the "Vogel" residence. Facilities were good and the owners were quick to respond and helpful at time of booking. Down stairs was spacious and kitchen facilities good however there were a lot of broken doorshelves in the fridge. Pay attention to the description upstairs even though it states the height, remain cautious if you are tall!!! We felt that the 2nd bathroom with a half-bath/shower is useless unless you are very short or a small child, the base of the bath is raised from the floor so it is even more limited, this was effectively more like a second toilet room for us. The agency who manage the property on behalf of the owners are a disapointment. The cleanliness appeared to just be from the previous clients with crumbs on the work top, dirt on the floor, marks on the mirrors, hairs on the bathroom, grease on the kitchen cupboards and looked like it hadn't had a 'deep' clean in a long time for example the extractor fans. It doesnt look like the agency ever checked this. We were told to check everything and go back to the agencies' office the next day (which was very conveniently located), the office the next day had a sign to go to another office on the other side of the resort. As instructed on the day before we checked out we went to the office for the check out information between 4pm and 7pm as she wrote down on arrival and she told us we were late at 6pm and that we should have been there earlier to make a check out time and that we had to clean everything perfectly as they will not have time to check. As the main person booking and having spent 10 years working with self-catering accommodations in France and Spain for tour operators I thought this agency was a huge let down to the owners we rented from and ourselves, we left this property immaculately clean and took pictures for own assurances on arrival and departure. We rented bed linen and towels from the agency which are not very comfortable and felt very worn. For what you pay I wish I bought new and payed for an extra suitcase on the aeroplane.

Proche pistes et commerces, grand sĂ©jour et cuisine pratique. 2 petites choses Ă  savoir, attention Ă  la hauteur sous plafond Ă  l'Ă©tage mĂȘme si l'annonce le prĂ©cise, pas facile de se laver pour les plus grands dans la salle de bain du haut, et l'escalier et les portes grincent Ă©normĂ©ment, ça rĂ©veillent tout le monde la nuit.     Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour dans cet appartement trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© et parfaitement situĂ©. Il y a tout le confort moderne et la literie est trĂšs bonne. Il y a suffisamment d’espace pour une famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants). Proche de l’école de ski ESI. Vivement y retourner !

    Nice apartment with plenty of living space

    This was a very good ski apartment in a good location in Arc 1800. The downstairs has plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen and is a good place to socialise after skiing. The upstairs bedrooms are comfortable. Whilst the upstairs ceilings are low (as described by the owners), this didn't cause us any problems. There is a ski locker in the basement which is spacious and has plenty of room for skis and boots. The apartment is close to the centre of Arc 1800 and is convenient for the TransArc lift (although we found taking Villards and then Carreley a better way of getting to Arc 2000). It is also close to the bus station, which is very helpful if you are coming by train, as the bus connects from the top of the funicular. Communication from the owner was excellent: very quick and very helpful. We were able to arrange our arrival and departure outside the agency hours, which was helpful. We got our full deposit back with no problems, although it did take a couple of weeks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

    Spacious apartment, superb location, well appointed

    As a family of 5, this apartment was perfect. The location is ideal for young families, within a 5 mins walk of the main lift Transarc, and similarly close to the shops for ski hire, provisions and apres ski. Clean, warm and very comfortable, our boys had a wonderful time, particularly making slides on the slope directly outside the ground floor balcony. Prompt & friendly communication from owner too. Highly recommended.

    Nous avons passĂ© une excellente semaine! L’appartement est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© avec de nombreux espaces de rangement. L'Ă©lectromĂ©nager est de bonne qualitĂ©. La localisation est idĂ©ale dans la station, proche des pistes, et des commerces! Les clĂ©s se rĂ©cupĂšrent facilement Ă  l'arrivĂ©e mĂȘme si on arrive en soirĂ©e. Seul bĂ©mol : la hauteur des plafonds dans les chambres et dans la salle de bain du haut, peu pratique pour les personnes de plus de 1m75. MalgrĂ© cela, nous recommandons cet appartement car il est plus spacieux que beaucoup d'autres. Enfin, les propriĂ©taires sont disponibles pour rĂ©pondre rapidement Ă  nos messages. Contact aisĂ©.     SĂ©jour parfait !

    La réception des clefs est rapide et efficace à l'arrivée, idéal aprÚs de longues heures de route ! L'appartement sur 2 étages est spacieux, convivial et pourvu d'énormément de rangements, trÚs bien équipé en matériel de cuisine et deux salles de bains ne sont pas négligeables quand on part à 8. La station et les pistes sont à proximité, idéal pour sortir au soir et pour retrouver son chemin le lendemain de la veille quand on doit aller skier :p Contactes avec l'agence et les propriétaires irréprochables, on se sent tout de suite en confiance. En conclusion, a conseiller absolument si vous comptez vous rendre aux Arcs !

    TrÚs bon séjour

    Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour dans cet appartement. Notre sentiment est renforcĂ© par la semaine de soleil, la qualitĂ© de la neige, la qualitĂ© des remontĂ©es mĂ©caniques, la qualitĂ© des pistes et du domaine. Concernant l'appartement, les prestations et la qualitĂ© sont conformes aux descriptions. Nous Ă©tions 4 donc nous avions largement de la place. La partie vie (sĂ©jour, cuisine) est trĂšs fonctionnelle, agrĂ©able Ă  vivre. Les Ă©quipements de cuisine sont trĂšs bons (four, lave vaisselle). Les ustensiles sont rĂ©cents, il manque juste l'appareil Ă  raclette et l'appareil Ă  fondue (les commerçants les prĂȘtent). Concernant la partie nuit, la literie est bonne, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Effectivement le plafond est bas surtout dans une chambre mais cela n'empĂȘche pas de bien dormir et les propriĂ©taires nous informent avant, ce n'est donc pas une surprise. Le plafond bas n' est pas pratique pour prendre sa douche dans la salle de bain du haut mĂȘme pour les personnes de petite taille. Heureusement, la deuxiĂšme salle de bain du bas est parfaitement fonctionnelle. La propretĂ© gĂ©nĂ©rale Ă©tait trĂšs bonne, ceux d'avant nous avait pris la formule mĂ©nage. Tout c'est bien dĂ©roulĂ© pour rĂ©cupĂ©rer les clĂ©s Ă  la conciergerie. La location comprend Ă©galement un local avec un casier Ă  ski. Nous n'avons pas eu de nuisance sonore au cours de notre semaine, l'isolation phonique doit donc ĂȘtre bonne. Les remontĂ©es sont Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pieds (Transarc). C'est une trĂšs bonne adresse aux Arcs, nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Par ailleurs, les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs serviables. Ils sont proches dans leurs locataires et envoyant plein d'informations utiles. sĂ©jour du 23 au 30 janvier 2016
