Lovely views and atmosphere

Frank and hospitable host Antonio's genuine sicilian 2nd floor apartment is a perfect place for your staying. Top features are definately the spacious rooftop terace with views to Etna and the Med., barbecue, comfortable beds and easy access to the train station. This is the place to enjoy 100% real sicilian atmosphere in town centre.

"We had a great time in t...

"We had a great time in this apartment. There are 2 things we find very important. 1 that a holidayapartment is clean and 2 that the beds are of a good quality. Both things where perfectly ok. This apartment was very spacious. On the pictures the rooms look much smaller, so we where pleasantly surprised. We certainly got value for money!"

Logement très bien équipé avec super terrasse panoramique sur l'etna et la mer.Il est facile de se garer dans la rue. Antonio qui vit à l'étage du dessus est très sympathique. Il est aussi généreux en bons conseils. Il parle bien anglais Nous recommandons ce logement

Séjour au top chez Antonio :Localisation du logement, disponibilité gentillesse accueil d'Antonio tout était parfait!le logement est équipé comme à la maison, nous n'avions jamais connu un tel niveau d'équipement dans une location de vacancesAntonio nous a accueilli comme s'il nous connaissait depuis toujoursau moindre souci il est présent dispo toujours prêt à rendre service Nous retournerons volontiers dans le logement si nous devions retourner dans la région

Der Aufenthalt in der gemieteten Wohnung war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr geräumig. Die Lage ist sehr angenehm. Zentral und doch sehr ruhig von der Dachterrasse hat man ein super Blick auf den Ätna und das Meer. Zum Strand braucht man allerdings ein Fahrzeug, sind doch ca. 2,5 km.Antonio ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit in allen Angelegenheiten. Er ist der beste Vermieter den man sich wünschen kann. Parkplätze für ein Auto gibt es genügend rund ums Haus, auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig locker zu erreichen. Riposto ist ein carmantes Stätdchen mit netten Restaurants und Bars. Man braucht etwas Zeit um dies herauszufinden. Auf jeden Fall kann man diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen.

Gem in the heart of Riposto

We loved this apartment. The rooms are all thoughtfully appointed and the host(s) were gracious and unintrusive. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The place is a block from the main drag and centrally located between the restaurants and markets in Riposto and those in Giarre (other side of the railroad station). The source of heat is a mini split; it worked fine for us. I expect that it will work even better as an air conditioner. The only fly in the ointment was that the rooftop terrace wasn't accessible, but it was December, so evenings outside weren't really on the agenda. So, the balconies aren't places with sweeping vistas of the Ionian Sea, Taormina, and Mt. Etna, but as a place to stay it served us well. We took lots of pictures of those sweeping vistas from nearby!

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit tollem Ausblick auf den Ätna

Unser Aufenthalt war okay. Die Klimaanlage in der Wohnung braucht einige Zeit, um die Räume gut zu kühlen. Allerdings haben die Schlafräume selber keine eigene Klimaanlage, so dass dort schon eine gewisse Wärme entsteht. Die Betten in der Ferienwohnung sind sehr gut. Auch hatten wir keine Probleme mit dem parken vom Leihwagen, vor dem Haus und in der Nebenstraße gibt es immer genügend Parkplätze. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 5 Minuten gut erreichbar. Auch sind fußläufig einige Restaurants zu erreichen. Wenn man als Europäer in der Küche auf eine Kaffeemaschine hofft, wird man mit einer Bialetti empfangen. Es ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig damit den Kaffee zu zubereiten, aber auch eine Erfahrung und ein Erlebnis. Platz Angebot in der Ferienwohnung ist sehr sehr gut und Antonio als Vermieter. Richtig klasse. Er ist super nett und immer hilfsbereit.

Appartement bien placé pour faire du tourisme sur la côte est.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour sur la côte est. Nous avons aussi bien profité de la plage, des villes que de l’intérieur des terres en allant à l’Etna et aux Gogres d’Alcantara. Nous avons le regret de ne pas être aller à Vulcano mais le coût de la traversée pour notre famille composée de 3 enfants était de 384€ trop cher!!!! La conduite en Sicile est fatigante, elle demande de l’attention car les siciliens respectent très approximativement le code de la route, c’est un style et des habitudes à prendre. Nous avons été surpris par les déchets, poubelles éparpillés dans cette si belle nature. Très bonne première semaine de vacances !!! Nous avons vu des paysages magnifiques.

Firstly the accommodation- The apartment is located in one of the minor roads that feed the main street Via Italia. There is no particular view from the apartment itself but the roof terrace provides a lovely view to the sea on one side and Etna on the other. Inside the apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped. We were met by our amazing host Antonio who was really helpful. The air conditioning is limited but enough- we needed it for our stay as it was really hot! Riposto is not of itself a tourist destination but none the poorer for it. there is a real authenticity to the place - it feels totally unspoiled. we were able to purchase the most amazing produce from local shops. There are some fantastic restaurants in Riposto which are not overpriced for what you get. i suspect if we had gone to a tourist hotspot we would be paying much much more. We spent most of our time at the beeches a short drive from Riposto itself. If you want to access these beeches you will need a car. We had planned to do without one- this would have been a mistake! The beeches that we went to were not crowded at all-the water was crystal clear and calm. Overall this was a great location and not overpriced at all. After leaving Riposto we headed for Noto. There is a contrast between the two for sure but Riposto has a ‘real’ feel about it probably because it is not teaming with tourists. I am sure we will return

En trevlig och välskött lägenhet. Ägaren hade köpt mat, kakor och frukt så att vi hade något att äta då vi kom fram sent på kvällen. Härlig takterass med utsikt över Etna, stan och havet.

Authentic Sicily - Riposto/Giarre

We were made most welcome by Antonio. The flat is most comfortable and completely fitted with easy- sliding insect screens. We did not have a single mosquito in the flat - that's a first for us as they generally make a feast of me during the night. The location is ideal as a base for train travel. The town is as unspoilt a place as you are likely to find in Sicily. Great views of Etna and the sea from the huge roof terrace. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment.

Schöne Wohnung, super Gastgeber

Gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung mit ausreichend Platz allem was man braucht. Supermarkt viele andere Geschäfte und eine gute Pizzeria ganz in der Nähe. Mit dem Auto in 5 Min zum Strand. Von Riposto erreicht man in unter einer Stunde auch viele weitere schöne Orte, z.B. Taormina mit dem Antiken Theater, Isola Bella, Catania, Syrakus und das Ohr des Dyonisos, Gole Alcantara und natürlich den Ätna. Der Gastgeber Antonio war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Er hatte auch immer ein paar gute Tipps, wo man am besten hingeht. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, auch für Familien mit Kindern.

Assez bel appartement près des visites essentielles

Je n'ai pas aimé la propreté de la ville très sale par rapport à la France . Le coût de la vie est pas cher , la chaleur au rendez vous . Je dirai assez bien , j'ai un sentiment mitigé !

Nice Well functioning, hosts exceeded all expectat

The apartment was all we expected and more :) The terrace on top of house had nice view towards Etna and well equipped with furniture and kitchen too. The hosts were never longer than a sms away and always kind and helping. They were very heartfelt welcoming. It was very easy to make appointments with them, also arriving and departing hours. The apartment are in a residential area and the city itself very well functioning. Few minutes walking to the train station and to rural charming beach. We highly recommend both apartment and hosts, and we definitely will come back.

L'acceuil était formidable. La maison est très agréable, lumineuse, calme, avec en plus un balcon au soleil le matin. Il est très bien placé à quelques minutes des commerces et du port. Et très bien placé pour visiter la région.

"Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans ce logement : environnement calme, pièces spacieuses, équipement complet, literie de bonne qualité et ferme, de plus tous les commerces nécessaires sont à proximité, stationnement facile au pied de l''immeuble. La terrasse, avec une très belle vue, était très agréable le soir pour prendre le frais. L''accueil de la famille S. est des plus aimables, avec plein de petites attentions et une vraie gentillesse. Le seul petit bémol est que la climatisation est située dans le couloir ce qui peut être un peu insuffisant par temps très chaud. Toutes nos amitiés à la famille"

El piso es amplio y acoge...

El piso es amplio y acogedor, está muy bien equipado y tiene muchos comercios a su alrededor. En la puerta del piso hay un mapa con la situación de todas las tiendas, lo que facilita la intendencia diaria. La situación del piso es ideal para explorar la costa este de Sicilia. Los propietarios son sumamente amables y acogedores y nos informaron muy bien de las excursiones que se podían hacer desde allí.
