Greene's to the Mountains

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an awesome time, well kept, an awesome experience!! Had everything we needed! The only thing I would say is a better grill but we made do, thanks for everything!! I would suggest 4 th July in the mountains to anyone, we went to Dollywood on the 3rd, awesome fireworks and drone show, and made to the Gatlinburg midnight parade, is legendary, especially with my 9 and 11 year old! Anakeesta and Ripley's experience was live on for generations!

Good location, clean, but some improvement needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location and clean inside with comfortable beds. Several close places to eat and pretty easy access to downtown. Main TV was solid. I couldn’t get room TVs to function. No shampoo or other typical bathroom amenities or aluminum foil for cooking so be prepared. Upstairs bathroom had a smell of sewage coming the shower drain so the kids showered downstairs but we kept the bathroom door shut. Hot tub was well kept and clean but not heated for the use on the first night which was disappointing after a 7 hour drive. We had a very good time overall and enjoyed the views and location.

The cabin was clean, well appointed, and spacious. My brother-in-law and I enjoyed the hot tub morning and night while my sister-in-law and husband preferred the warmth of the fireplace. We had views of the mountain directly below us but not of the mountains in front or on the horizon due to the tall trees. We would definitely rent again.

Great Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin we stayed in was great. We loved having the pool table in the cabin and used it every day. Directions were easy to follow and all instructions for operating everything in the cabin were easy as well. The only issues we had were that you could feel every spring in the bed on the main floor, the upstairs where the pool table is was kind of dark, and the refrigerator/freezer had on odd odor coming from them when open. We enjoyed our stay very much and would consider this rental again for future visits.

Great stay, but be prepared

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was perfect for four adults/two couples. The amenities, like the hot tub and the pool table, were a really fun touch and they were well maintained. The cabin on the whole was quite clean. The location (although off of a very small, winding road of course) was actually quite close to downtown Gatlinburg and parking for trolley stops. The view really is gorgeous, but you do have two immediate neighbor cabins. That didn't bother us at all, but if you're looking for seclusion this cabin is not secluded. As far as guest items, they provided plenty of kitchen supplies (pots, pans, glasses) and towels. However, we were only provided two rolls of toilet paper with no option for re-stock--we were told guests were meant to supply that after it ran out, which I found odd. Also, pack all your shower essentials. This property only offered super thin bar soaps which were only suitable for washing hands. There were zero food items, too (some places will provide salt/pepper/sugar/coffee, ect), so if you're cooking make sure you have all ingredients packed. If your party plans to spend most of your vacation in the cabin this is your message to be prepared for these things. Definitely one of those cabins were you need to pack everything. Altogether a wonderful stay - especially if most of your time is spent out and about anyway!

The one morning it rained just a little added to the view and experience. The check in/out was very easy and they kept in contact just in case we needed anything. Romantic Birthday Celebration.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time at Elk Springs Resort Cabins. This time we booked the Moonshine Cabin. The staff kept us informed and they communicated with us regularly. At arrival, we noticed a very strong smell of gas in the cabin. Smell was coming from the gas fire place. I notified management and they sent someone to turn off the pilot light in the fire place so no more fireplace. The other thing was that there was no dishwashing soap or dishwasher soap, there were 4 small bars of soap and a pack of washing machine detergent. We had to go purchase those in town. The website said it came with a hair dryer also and there was none. The cabin was neat and clean overall but there were those things missing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place! Bathrooms and kitchen are super clean but the cleaning crew needs to look up...the upstairs bedroom ceiling was very dusty. Could be bad for someone with severe allergies. Hot tub jets need maintenance because not all of them would work at the same time. Overall it was a great place to stay. Beautiful view. I'd go back but remember to bring everything you need if you plan to cook! There is nothing other than salt and pepper. I forgot sugar for morning coffee and my husband was disappointed that the cupboards were bare. ;)
