Beautiful location

Loved the house, which we were able to enjoy in both beautiful desert heat and cool thunderstorms. A great homebase for our travels around the Taos area. The Enchanted Circle was a day trip not to miss! Great location, great home. Thank you’

Taos House

I loved where we stayed. It is a nice house with a hot tub and a good kitchen to cook in. I loved how open everything was including outside and you could star gaze very easily. I highly recommend this place.

Caretaker Lori was communicative & we enjoyed the hot tub, dark skies, & property overall.The house description doesn't include details about pets that I would have wanted to know before booking: pets should be in a crate when you leave, pets are not allowed on the furniture, & a 25 per hour fee will be assessed for additional pet hair cleaning beyond their standard cleaning (they recommended bringing a lint roller or masking tape).

Lovely Getaway

Lovely Taos Stay

Our stay at Adobe Artista was wonderful. The house does have some quirks and we encountered a plumbing issue on the last day of our stay, but Lori the Caretaker was responsive. Plenty of room for our family and our dog loves the radiant floor heat. The views can't be beat.

Just What We Needed

- Private. Yes, there are neighbors but there is space between. - Quiet - View of mountains glorious - Dark skies for incredible stars, sunrises and sunsets - Snuggly beds - Minutes from several hiking trails - Adobe construction fascinating - Very well stocked with supplies - Plenty of firewood - I could go on and on... we will be back. Nothing is perfect but this experience was excellent.

Relaxing in the desert

My husband and my in-laws stayed here for three days. The place was beautiful and serene. You will feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere--but you can drive to good places to eat within 5-10 minutes. Part of the road was dirt, so I am not certain how the winter would be. Very comfortable beds. Loved resting there--body and soul.

As a homeowner I would replace the fridge, washing machine, and the mattress in the master bedroom as these are all worn out. But we love the house itself, and the location is amazing. The views alone are a million dollar experience. There is no light or noise pollution and the neighbors are unobtrusive.

From the minute we arrived and stepped into the house until we had to leave we enjoyed every minute. Everything was beyond my expectations. The house is decorated beautifully we loved the entire layout. It felt like a home out of a magazine. The house was immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable. We loved cooking in the kitchen and grilling outside . We even used the hot tub and gazed at the stars. The house was fully stocked with kitchen utensils as well as extra toiletries etc. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

A pleasant getaway

After a year of working from home, social distancing, etc we’ve discovered that the outskirts of Taos is the perfect quarantined escape from our four walls. This property was clean, quiet, cozy, and offered beautiful views. Evenings relaxing in the hot tub gazing up at the milkway were just what we needed. We will definitely be back - hopefully by then we’ll also be able to explore the town of Taos.
