Fernledge | Fredlig 5BR Mountain Cottage | Städning ingår redan i priset

Fernledge, en klassisk stuga i Montreat, erbjuder en enkel charm i en fjällstuga med ren stugainredning. Koppla av på den stora verandan eller ta en kort, enkel promenad till Lake Susan. På bottenvåningen finns kök och öppen planlösning matsal / vardagsrum samt sovrummet med en dubbelsäng och ett badrum. Den andra våningen har 4 sovrum (1 drottning, en kung och 2 med tvillingar) som var och en har sin egen handfat. Ett komplett badrum ligger utanför hallens andra våning. Det finns enkel tillgång till hemmet med en stenlagd uppfart och carport med plats för flera bilar. Hemmet är också en mycket kort promenad till Robert Lake Park / lekplats som har en stor bäck, perfekt för att bygga dammar.
Fernledge ligger 30 minuter från det bästa från båda världar: bergen och rusande bäckar i Montreat med tillgängligheten till Asheville inom en kort bilresa.

Observera: även om det inte finns någon central luftkonditionering, förblir Fernledge svalt på grund av det omgivande grönska. Har ett helt husfläkt som hjälper till att få in kvälls- och morgonluften. Under huvudhuset finns också en liten lägenhet med separat ingång. Ibland kan en familjemedlem använda den separata lägenheten. I så fall meddelar vi hyresgästen i huvudhuset.

OBS: Lakan och handdukar levereras INTE men kan hyras via GreyBeard mot en extra avgift.

Detta hem har en vistelse på minst 3 nätter från augusti-maj. Juni och juli har en vistelse på minst 7 nätter.

Thanksgiving celebration

Family unanimous with loving this house and area for holiday week. Black Mountain/Montreat/Asheville resilient after storm, shops, cafes, businesses open. House is well loved and comfortable for family groups, clean as a whistle.

Cozy stay

I rented this house for my family of 5 and my mom, 2 sisters and 1 brother in law. We rented for an October wedding in Old Fort and the rehearsal dinner was in Asheville so this was the perfect in-between spot. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to lovely hiking trails. We did the lookout mountain trail vial rainbow road hike and there were amazing views from the top and we could walk to the trail head from the house!!! The house was perfect as my mom is 85 and the main floor queen bedroom with ensuite was perfect to make her very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped although we did not cook there other then breakfast. I would highly recommend this house, the large front porch was the best part of this house!!! It was cool that each bedroom upstairs had a sink in each room. This made the line for the bathroom at night non existent. Again, I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Relaxing place

Stayed here for a few nights with my wife. The place felt tucked away yet close to Black mtn. Downtown. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Fernledge Vacation

We enjoyed the charm of a home built in 1917 with modern conveniences. The quiet and beauty of the surroundings, front porch, wood burning stove, carport for parking and unloading and close proximity to Black Mountain were all added benefits.

Beat the heat!

We had a lovely time in this comfortable, historic home. Very quaint as well as convenient to have a sink in every bedroom despite it being only two baths and five bedroom property. No worries! Kitchen well appointed. Front porch a true magnet for our family all day and evening! Wonderful availability of a range of hikes nearby. Tennis courts at the bottom of the hill open to the public. This home has dated but comfortable, well kept furnishings.

Girls Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed the location of the property and the charm of the house. Very spacious and a lot of amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing missing from the kitchen was a working coffee maker. We were only there 3 nights so not a big deal. Would recommend to a large group for sure.

We had no problems getting to the house and very much enjoyed our stay. Greybeard was great, and even checked to make sure the house was warm during a freeze warning. All the info for driving, checking in, and checking out was provided and had no problems whatsoever with the instructions given. Would like to thank Greybeard and the owners of Fernledge for making our vacation easy and convenient!

Very pleased!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A small youth group attended an event at the Montreat Conference Center for the week. The house worked out beautifully with great dining and living space and plenty of sleeping space. Two bathrooms is a bit tight when multiple teenagers are involved, but everything worked out great. Staying in the middle of July, we made use of the many fans throughout the house, including the attic fan to keep the house cool and didn't miss the a/c at all. Thank you for a wonderful week!
