Villa Ginestra, eleganta fastighet med privat pool som ligger i Marina Novaglie, står på en hög terrass med härlig havsutsikt. Villan, helrenoverat, är nedsänkt i den orörda Medelhavs Park skyddat Otranto-Leuca och är bara 300 meter från havet. Den uteserveringen på 4000 kvadratmeter, var utrustad med en stor trädgård med en privat pool och svalare moment soldäck, lusthus, bekväma lounger, bord och stolar och en terrass med fantastisk havsutsikt. Interiörer, detaljerade och bekväma, består av totalt 2 sovrum (4 bäddar), ett badrum med dusch, ett ljust lämnar rum med bekväma fåtöljer och en välsorterad kök. Från säsongen 2018 har vi lagt en bilaga med privat badrum och balkong med utsikt över havet. Designad för familjer som kommer på semester med sina föräldrar eller äldre barn som vill njuta av deras privatliv. Tack vare sitt läge, kan gästerna fördjupa sig i lugn och ro i ett vackert landskap, ett stenkast från havet och några kilometer från de mest kända centra i Salento, såsom Spegel, Leuca och Otranto.

Fantastic location, great outside and pool area, inside the house is ok

It is a fantastic location of the house, the panoramic view of the see from the house really takes your breath away. The owner is really kind and professional and helped is directly with some minor issues and was always available. Luciana also gave us tips about where to find the best fresh fish, ice cream and more when we asked her. She really cares which is not always the case when renting in Italy. We spent 10days in the house and we cooked, relaxed at the pool and enjoyed the great weather and views. The only small minus was that it smelled a bit old in one of the bedrooms and it was little too little kitchen tools to use for cooking food, but all in all a great house to rent! We will most likely rent it again in the future!

Tour of Puglia

Beautiful property, exactly as shown in the photographs. Stunning sea-view. The outside areas are a particular highlight. We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool looks amazing, especially when lit up at night, and a couple of us did attempt a dip in the day time, but as it is not heated and the day time temperature in October was mid 20s, it was freezing cold! I imagine when the weather is much hotter it is fantastic. Visitors should be aware that the road up to the villa is very steep, even to drive up it. You definitely need a car as there is nothing in walking distance. Plenty of supermarkets etc in Gagliano del Capo, about a 10 minute drive away. Something the owners can do nothing about, but if you hate cats, you should be aware that there are a number of local cats (2 in particular, but 4 in total), that were very regular visitors to the villa which for the majority of the time were not too much trouble. However, it meant we couldn't leave any doors open (one occasion someone didn't quite close the mosquito screen across and we caught them on the kitchen island eating our meat and cheese lunch!). It was a little difficult to have food in peace at the outside table as they were very fast and happy to get on the table and steal food, even if you were there trying to keep them off/scare them away. Please don't let this put you off the villa as it is a small thing, but if you are allergic to cats it may be an issue.

Seaside Villa with Friends

We had a wonderful stay at this very well appointed Villa. The views were spectacular and breathtaking. Our host Luciana was very helpful and we enjoyed lunch at her Masseria ristorante a few minutes away from the Villa. We definitely recommend it and would not hesitate to return.

Fabulous home!

This place is magical! Beautifully constructed to take advantage of the sea view and breeze. The pool was spectacular! Exactly as shown. Attentive and helpful host made sure we were able to find the house. Eat at their nearby Masseria! It’s also wonderful! There is room for 3 couples here—with one couple in the upper unit. Easy drive to Leuca, Castro, Otronto, Gallipoli…and then relax by the pool!

Fabulous four days in southern Puglia

We had a fabulous time at this villa between Marina di Novaglie and Gagliano del Capo. The access road and driveway are a bit scary, but that's the price of what is a truly priceless location and view of the coastline and the sea. Everything about the property is first-rate, with every convenience you could hope for. We spent a wonderful few days exploring the neighbouring cities and towns, and even managed a short swim in the lovely infinity pool, despite the cool weather (it was still April, to be honest). Lecce is not to be missed; a totally glorious baroque masterpiece architecturally and artistically. The food is delicious, with the local bread rolls, puccia, among the best bread I've ever eaten - so very simple and delicious with the delightfully fresh local produce and fabulous cured meats. The coastal drive up to Otranto was a highlight, despite the public holiday traffic. This port city with its lovely lungomare promenade and historic centre is a wonderful spot for lunch and strolling/exploring. We couldn't fault any aspect of the property or the neighbourhood, and would love to return one day for a longer stay, perhaps in the early autumn when the days are a bit warmer. Luciana is a perfect host and was very helpful with advice and a warm welcome. Grazie mille!

The View!

We really had an incredible time in Marina di Novaglie. It was a family reunion of sorts, three sisters getting together with a brother-in-law. We enjoyed the house, but we really enjoyed the view. We did daily excursions to nearby beaches, Pescoluse, and took a day trip up to Lecce. We enjoyed the lunch at somewhat famous La Scalo, which is just below the house on the water. The house was very clean and we certainly use the kitchen and laundry a little bit. It would have been nice to have an extra set of towels and a couple extra rolls of toilet paper.

Excellent

We stayed here (a couple) for a week in September and everything was perfect, the villa really is as beautiful as the pictures, you would never tire of the view. It is very well equipped with everything you need, and to a high standard. It’s an incredibly peaceful location and if you want to relax it couldn’t be better. You do need a car, however we did walk down to the marina a couple of evenings - there’s an excellent pizzeria there - and it took 25 mins as there’s a steep hill. The pizza was worth it though! Fantastic villa and we would stay again.

Just like the pictures!

We had a lovely week here and spent a great deal of our time relaxing at the house. Each day we had a strong breeze which takes the edge off the high summer temperatures. The pool was chilly on first getting in, but an ideal temperature for swimming laps. We found that the house was perfect for the four of us. The interior would have been “snug” with six people. The house is delightful for eating and entertaining outside. Our hostess, Luciana, was most welcoming. The area has some remarkably beautiful coastline. There are a number of pleasant restaurants within an easy drive, but they do seem to have very similar menus. We enjoyed sundowners at Bar Giardolo with breathtaking views; excellent (albeit expensive) fish at the harbor side Lo Scalo Restaurant; post-hiking drinks at Bar L’Incanto at the mouth of the small Ciolo canyon and an unexpectedly delightful supper at Moi-Moi in Gagliano de Capo. We also enjoyed outings to Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca.

Tolle Location

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage. Luciana ist super nett und sehr entgegenkommend und kümmert sich mit Ihrem Mann sofort, auch bei kleineren Anliegen, wenn man z.B. zu doof ist die Waschmaschine anzuschalten :). Da wir im Herbst dort waren, wäre etwas wärmere Bettwäsche sinnvoll gewesen. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Très agréable

Très bel emplacement, bel extérieur avec piscine très bien entretenue. Très belle vue. L'intérieur de la maison est simple et la décoration un peu démodée, l'équipement est minimal.

einfach super

Es war wirklich alles wie beschrieben, und noch besser vor Ort. Bei den Bildern war nichts gemogelt. Gut eingerichtete Küche, gute Betten und alles sehr sauber. Der Pool, der Blick aufs Meer, einfach grandios. Hervorzuheben noch die 2 Sitzmöglichkeiten aussen, so das man immer Schatten hatte. Wir hätten gerne einige Tage verlängert,

Sunny Villa with Amazing views

The Villa is situated in an amazing location, you will need a car as there is not much nearby, but we spent quite a bit of time at the villa decompressi.g and rekindling. The weather was lovely during the day. Cool and breezy at night. The pool was clean and beautiful, but almost too chilly to use, so when we come back it will be later in the season. Also, the location is rural so bring bug repellant.
