Vårt 2 sovrum, 2 badrum 1 280 kvm lägenhet (Unit 405) i Village Center byggnaden erbjuder den ultimata bekvämligheten på vintern eller sommaren som det ligger i hjärtat av Purgatory Village bara några steg från den primära höghastighetsliftet till toppen av berget, Purgatory Express. Precis som namnet indikerar är Village Center vid epicentret för Durango Mountain Resort och Purgatory-upplevelsen. Det finns ingen bättre plats för dina vinter- eller sommarupplevelser.

Lägenheten är ett hörnhem med fantastisk utsikt över både bergen och skidbackarna och ligger på en enda nivå på 4: e våningen med hissåtkomst och har två däck för att njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över Needles Mountain Range, kanske den mest fantastiska och vacker uppsättning av 14.000 fot toppar i alla Colorado Rockies.

Byggnaden har en bubbelpool på taket med fantastisk utsikt, en restaurang, 2 barer, en arkad, ett backdäck, Purgatory skidskola, Purgatory barnomsorg anläggning, 2 skiduthyrning butiker (en för högpresterande redskap) och utvägens främsta shoppingplatsen, Purgatory Sports. Med deli precis bredvid, som erbjuder bra smörgåsar, frukost och lätta dagligvaror, behöver du verkligen inte komma in i bilen när du anländer.

Sometimes housekeeping could be better (maybe don’t trust that the guests before you know how to do dishes properly, etc). But, we love this place and would stay again. Firewood delivery is awesome, and rental management company is easy to work with and responsive.

Enjoyable stay

PROS:The property was as advertised. Very nice condo. A little dated, but well kept. Location was convenient. Beds we were comfortable. All TVs & appliances were in good working order. Setting was AMAZING. CONS: Dishes weren't clean, we had wash everything before we could use it. Needs better lighting in the bathrooms, too dark. The last night we were swarmed with gnats inside the condo, although the property manager can't be faulted for that.

Excellent location -great ski condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo worked out well for my family of 4 skiers. Location can’t be beat. Beds & couch are comfy. It has a washer/dryer, which is a plus on a longer stay. We really enjoyed using the fireplace, and it is easy to call and have wood brought over. Only downside was the people before us really messed up the coffeemaker and cleaners must have overlooked it. Everything else was great, and the rental company was as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, comfortable condo

Ideal spot for skiers. Well appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans, etc needed (not always the case in these type of rentals!) Very comfortable and well kept condo! Bonus to have covered parking. Check in was easy. Requested late check out at front desk and they approved it, but then got rude call from property manager on check out day because we weren't out at usual check out time. Communication should have been more clear about whom to ask for late check-out- or insure front desk does not approve it if they do not have the authority to do so.

Unit review

Location was great and unit was clean. This unit needs maintenance done on both bathroom faucets and shower heads. All are nearly plugged from mineral deposits and water flow is barely enough to wash hands. Unit also needs maintenance on kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. Lighting throughout the condo is insufficient.

Meh

Check-in was a pain. Elevator keys not working, vague directions that led us to the wrong building. The room itself was oddly decorated, but we knew that in advance. What we didn’t know is that it smelled like cat urine. Neither of the fold out beds were usable. Also, you charge an extremely high cleaning fee, but want me to do the laundry? Absurd.

This place is about location!

The location of this unit is AMAZING. Not only is it conveniently located right in the Village, but the balcony and windows face the lift and give fantastic, gorgeous views. I could wave to my kids in line at the lifts! The unit itself is dated and in below average condition, from the plumbing (slow) to the furniture (worn). The cleanliness was also average. The counters, toilets, and showers were clean enough. The window sills were dusty and full of dead flies. The dishes were not clean at all - there were grease and food remnants on dishes, silverware, cups, and pots/pans. There was one dish towel available for the kitchen, and the pot holders had dried food remnants. I realize that this may be the fault of the prior guests, but housekeeping should check on it. It was easy to see. The towels are so old and thin and frayed - like sandpaper. They seem many years old, and we wished we had known to bring our own. The property management company was great. The staff at Purgatory was great. We would stay again for the location if the price was right, but we'd bring our own towels and hope for cleaner conditions.

Phenomenal Location - very poor check-in with front desk

I would have given this review 5 stars had it not been for the very poor and frustrating experience during check-in at the front desk. The Purgatory Lodge front desk and vacation rental company were not on the same page with our access cards for both the BUILDING and the POOL as well as a parking pass. We were not aware all of this was needed and made for a lengthy process after driving all day. There was a lot of calling back and forth with the vacation rental company and the front desk, making sure everyone was on the same page. It was also discovered the vacation rental company failed to contact me when my credit card did not go through for the pool access upgrade. It would've been nice had they let me know none of that went through instead of handling upon arrival. We also accidentally left some items at the condo and currently working with the vacation rental company to retrieve those items for us. I do feel like this would be a chance for them to redeem over the top customer service with us despite the check-in process. Bottom line: Condo was awesome, wonderful amenities, everything we need and perfect location/view. Only downside....and a BIG one for us was the arrival mishap with access cards for building, pool and parking pass. That all could've been avoided with some communication via text, email or phone.
