Chimney Mill Cabin ligger i ett avskilt omrÄde vid det övre huvudet av Kings River, högt i de vackra bergen i Madison County. VÄr stuga Àr omgiven av en lugn, lugn miljö som introducerar dig till ljudet av floden och naturens överflöd. Att sitta pÄ den omhöljande verandan och njuta av den lugna lugnet i det naturliga vildmarksomrÄdet - relativt orört av mÀnniskan - ger en kÀnsla av lugn och tillfredsstÀllelse och gör att man inte vill lÀmna.

Chimney Mill Cabin Àr uppkallad efter det gamla kvarnbruket som en gÄng stod vid Kings River Falls. Stugan rymmer 10 gÀster över natten i 2 king size-sÀngar, 1 queen size-sÀng, 1 futon sÀng, 1 queen bÀddsoffa och 2 och 1/2 bad. Den har ett fullt utrustat kök, stort gÄrdsbord i matplatsen plats 12, andra bordsplatser 4, vedeldad spis, parabol satellit-service och omhöljande veranda (södra sidan Àr skÀrmad). Omlindad veranda har flera stolar och bord som gör att man kan sitta och njuta av vilda djur och lyssna pÄ floden. Stugan ligger bara nÄgra meter frÄn Kings River nÀra Buffalo National River Area och mÄnga vÀlkÀnda vandringsleder. Detta Àr den perfekta platsen för vandrare att njuta av de populÀra vandringslederna i detta omrÄde.

Great atmosphere! The view was amazing. The trails around the property were awesome and made for a good hike. The river was beautiful and we really enjoyed swimming under the waterfall!

Amazing views and overall great place to stay. No cell service which was nice to not be bothered, but would be nice to have atleast wifi to set the gps in the car without having to go all the way into town.

Beautiful Peaceful Retreat

We both grew up in this area. Both families' ancestors came to this area in the late 1800 and early 1900s. We retired from our job about 2 years ago. My husband retired from trucking and I from teaching. We finished building our cabin in October 2014. We wanted something to help supplement our retirement years and allow others to enjoy the beauty and quietness of the area.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

My husband and I inherited this land from my step-mother and dad after their deaths. My step-mother lived on this place for 62 years--10 years as a widower. She and my dad lived here together for 22 years. This piece of land has a lot of historical ties to this part of the area. This area has long been visited by many who loved to hike and see the natural beauty of the wilderness area--relatively untouched by man.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Chimney Mill Cabin is located by the historical, old homestead known as the Squire Burton Williams Homeplace. Looking out from the wrap-around porch, you can see the old house and cemetery, which is the resting place for many who helped settle this rugged area of Madison County.

We have added several items to the cabin that makes it a unique and special place--the old Kings River Falls sign that used to be at the old parking lot (a head board for the bed upstairs), old gate from the garden spot (headboard in the green room), old barn wood (used for kitchen cabinets and island) from the old barn that once stood where the cabin is today, the old kitchen sink and white cabinet was my grandmother's and the fireplace mantle was a hewed log from the old barn. The porch swing also has special meaning--retirement gift from my coworkers, when I retired from teaching. As you can see, this cabin has a lot of unique features that makes it a special place for our family.
