Claudine is the French auntie you always wanted

Claudine was absolutely lovely, the room was charming and the location was amazing. Claudine got us oriented (in very good English), telling us the nearby resources to make our stay easy. The perfect way to start our trip in France, absolutely recommend this VRBO!

Perfect stay in Paris

The flat was just what we needed for our visit and the location was incredible. Having a selection of transit rough outside the door made any place easily accessible. The restaurants and cafe near by were excellent. Highly recommend cafe montparnasse and bouillon Chartier.Claudine was so lovely and my husband and i would have loved to sit down with her at of the cafes and visit more. She's a true gem.Thank you Madame!

Consistently Terrific!

This was my second stay at Madame Claudine’s Montparnasse flat and once again I regretted having to leave! This studio overlooks Blvd Montparnasse and I never tire of the view and the wonderful city life outside the large oversized windows facing southwest - the flat is large and comfortable and mist relaxing! Madame Claudine once again proved to be an attentive host and I would highly recommend her flat for those staying in the Montparnasse area

A good value

The apartment is just like the pictures and as mentioned in most reviews Claudine and Ilhame are very welcoming hosts. I stayed for two weeks and was very comfortable. The area is walkable and the nearby metro is convenient to reach other areas.

Fabulous!

My stay at Claudine‘s apartment was wonderful! It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The location is phenomenal - everything is just a few steps away…buses, Metro, restaurants, shopping, supermarket, pâtisseries, movie theaters, fantastic open Street Market with everything from incredible foods to fashion. Claudine is very special and the perfect host. She was waiting for me upon arrival and taught me everything about the area and beyond. The apartment is lovely, authentically Parisian and so very comfortable. She made me feel like it was my home. I cannot wait to return to Paris and Claudine’s apartment. Merci beaucoup, Claudine!

Perfect for 2 people in an awesome location

This apartment was exactly what we needed and perfect for 2 people. The location had multiple subway stops, one almost right out the front door. Multiple bus stops across the street, bakeries, restaurants and cafes all around the building. I loved the ability to cook when we were to tired to go out and there was even a grocery store a few doors down. This is a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator but that didn't bother us ( a great way to work off all those calories from the pastries we ate!). It's also a very secure building with double doors at the entry. Our host was very kind and gave us information about the area and restaurant recommendations. If you're looking for a budget apartment in a 5 star location, this is it!

Lovely, spacious studio

Claudine was wonderful--waited for me outside the door when I couldn't reach her due to my phone running out of battery during my flight. The flat is even lovelier than the photos, very well equipped , and there are many transportation options right outside the door, but the windows are well glazed, and it is very quiet within .

Great Paris Apartment

The location is great, Claudine was a very helpful hostess and gave us some good info about the local area. We loved eating at Cafe Montparnasse (just downstairs) and were able to walk most every place we visited. This studio apartment made us feel like it was "our" neighborhood while we were there, and we were very comfortable there. This is not a place for people with issues climbing stairs or carrying their bags upstairs; there is no lift. Even though it's a busy neighborhood and street, it was surprisingly quiet with the windows closed (we visited in November, so having the windows closed worked out). We highly recommend and would stay again.

Welcoming French charm

- [x] It was our first time in France and we didn’t know what to expect. Claudine started our our trip with a warm welcome, letting us know everything about the apartment and giving us an idea of where we were in relation to all the important landmarks. The apartment is the definition of French charm. It has everything you need to have a nice stay. It is cozy and warm but can be cooled down very quickly by opening the beautiful windows. We will definitely be back.

Apartment Flat Montparnasse

Madame Drame is a very sweet helpful lady The flat is up 3 flights of stairs which turned out to be a problem for us, with no elevator but we knew that going in. Kitchen facilities are minimal. Great location. Metro and buses literally across the street, train station a block or so away.

Montparnasse Apartment

Lovely, retro 4th floor apartment in secure building (stairs, no lift) next to Cafe Montparnasse, overlooking intersection of Blvd Montparnasse and Rue de Rennes. Convenient location next to Metro and bus lines, many nearby restaurants and stores. Claudine was excellent host, very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend.

Perfect for a "We live in Paris" vibe

The area is amazing. There are so many amazing and famous restaurants, cafes and brasseries. Vibrant, fun neighbourhood. It is easy to get to all the different arrondisemonts in Paris. Claudine's place is quaint and is a very Parisian walk-up style apartment. It had everything we needed and was very safe. It has a little kitchen so could go to the franprix around the corner for baguettes, cheese, snacks, wine, etc. She was warm and kind and gave us all the info we needed, including how to get to her place from the airport and many tips on places to see and neighbourhoods. She also has so many books on Paris, walking tours, maps and other info that were great to look at as we planned our days. The metro and bus will get you everywhere easily and quickly. It was, honestly, perfect for what we wanted our trip to be. We hit all the main tourist sites but also sat in the cafes right downstairs for hours and ate and people watched and strolled to all the local things to see and do. We were there mid July and it was hot, hot, hot, so sundresses and cool clothing are what you need. Claudine's place had a floor fan and quite a nice breeze going through the apartment so sleeping was comfortable even on the hottest days. We can't wait to go back again.

Stay in Montpernasse

Stay in Madame Claudine’s apt in Montparnasse was very enjoyable. She is a lovely person who greeted us on arrival and made herself very accessible and gave us local suggestions for the neighborhood. Apt is a few steps from the Montparnasse-Bienvenue Metro station and many bus routes. Easy to get anywhere in Paris & easy connection to the airport CDG. The neighborhood is filled with cafes & restaurants. Apartment and the building are old style Paris and it is a walk up. Merci Beaucoup Madame Claudine. Michael & Susan

Life long dream come true

Claudine was amazing and very reachable even when she was out of the country. The room was inviting and extremely comfortable. The noise from the street was unnoticeable when windows closed but not bad when open. The tub was welcoming after many long walks. There are several stairs but you get use to it. There is a washing machine which came in handy and a dry rack. Took little time for clothes to dry. You barely noticed the neighbors. The two restaurant on either side of bld did not become an issue. Access to the metro, buses, and taxis uber etc very close. Theres a little store very near for purchases. I will be back to stay Merci Claudine!

A wonderful Paris spot

This was the perfect spot for a week in Paris for me and my granddaughter. We were able to walk to all sites visited except Montmartre, and the trip by train to Versailles was easily made. The kitchen, equipped with all we needed, and the spacious bathroom were separated by a door which allowed me to get up early without waking her. The apartment situated near the metro, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, and boutiques felt very secure. Our hostess was extremely attentive even while having to be absent from town. The person delegated in her stead was most charming and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location, cute apartment

This was a spacious, well-kept apartment in a central location. Communication throughout the experience with the host and her assistant was timely. Bed was comfortable and kitchen functional, A few minor issues after check-in were quickly resolved (e.g. needed a sheet). Suggestions would be to leave a binder with neighborhood suggestions for market and restaurants, and fix the bidet. Would stay there again!
