The property was clean and quiet. After a busy day of sightseeing it was wonderful to return home to a quiet place to rest. Lucia was a dream to work with. All questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. Would definitely rent from her again.

We enjoyed our stay at this unique property outside Rome. Grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. Lodging was roomy and comfortable. Only complaint was that rail station was a twenty-five minute walk from property. Travel to Rome’s historical center city very expensive if done by cab or Uber.

Thank you for your feedback. You are always welcome; The closest train station is Olgiata, which is located 1.2 km from the house, approximately 10–15 minutes on foot, depending on your walking speed. The other station, La Storta, is considerably farther away. I believe you may have walked to that one by mistake. We usually recommend La Storta only for guests arriving by car, as it offers more parking spaces and more frequent train services. I apologise for the misunderstanding and hope this did not cause you too much inconvenience.

The hosts were great, the property was absolutely beautiful and it was just a wonderful & peaceful getaway from adventures in Rome itself. Super comfortable, very spacious, and would absolutely come back here for another stay! Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay for visiting Rome. Comfortable house to come back after a busy day in Rome and with a beautiful garden for your breakfast in the morning. Host is very helpfull and responses quickly to your questions.

A beautiful villa on the outskirts of Rome. It’s easy to reach the city center by train, yet you can still enjoy the peace and charm of the countryside. For us, with small children, it was just perfect, as the property has a large garden.The hostess is incredibly kind and thoughtful! We can absolutely recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay

Out host was so wonderful, this was our first time traveling to Italy, she arranged an airport pick up, and the driver was so nice and helped us out during our stay .The house was so great, beautiful yard, beautiful flowers, olive and lemon tree. Kitchen was fully equipped, beds so comfortable, , she made sure everything was ready, contacted us every day to make sure we were comfortable, or if we needed anything.Overall, our stay was amazing and very comfortable

The house was clean inviting we had a great time with family and friends very open plenty of room to sit and talk easy to get to the train station to go into Rome we would definitely come back it was private you had your own entrance to get in, Our host was in constant contact with us what ever we need her staff provided who were also very friendly. This was a great find we would recommend this house to other freinds and family

Great experience!

We loved this property!! The owner was amazing she made sure we were well informed. There were more than enough beds & space for everyone. We would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone staying here with a large group!

Wow! My stay felt like visiting family. The hospitality, care, and accommodation provided by the owner were incredibly kind. We truly felt at home. The house itself is even more welcoming than expected. We had an amazing experience!

This place was amazing!

I came to Rome with a group of 9 and we chose to stay here to escape the noise of the city, and it was perfect. The host was super kind and responsive. The property was beautiful and quiet. It was super easy to get to the train station and easy to explore the countryside from the house. I would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect place for us.

Beautiful villa!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! This villa is a ways out from Rome attractions, however, if you have a car or a driver all is well- it is so peaceful! It's a nice retreat from the chaos and noise of inner city Rome. Communication with the owner was fantastic- she's very responsive and helpful. Love this place!

A fantastic large home and a wonderful host

We had a large group and the host was very helpful indeed and assisted us the whole way through. Self-catering for a short time made it a bit more tiring with shopping and travel into the city, so if we had longer time it would have been better. The house and garden were beautiful and I would 100% recommend this place.

We enjoyed our time

We really liked the place. It’s big for families and description is really accurate. Lucia was extremely helpful to keep us informed about everything and helping us throw most of the difficulties you might ran into when you visit a foreign country. There is a train station close by and you can get to every where with train and metro. We really liked this place

Beautiful property amongst the pine trees with easy access to Rome

The property is very comfortable and spacious, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for a large family or group. It is in a lovely location in a suburban area amongst the pine trees. Although my family were staying to visit Rome over Easter, there was a real temptation to relax in the sunshine in the garden amongst the citrus trees. Our host was very attentive and provided all information we needed, especially regarding the train links to get into Rome, which required a journey of approx. 35 minutes. On Sunday we were even able to drive in without much difficulty. This was a lovely home in a beautiful location, and highly recommended.

10 day family vacation

We had a great time in Rome and the villa was perfect for our large group. We arrived late August and the whole week sunny and close to 40 Celsius. Thankfully the villa had air conditioning so our stay was comfortable. I wish we’d had an opportunity to explore the neighborhood by bike (provided) but it was just too hot and much of our time was spent exploring the city and Pescara and tours of Tuscany, Pompeii and Positano. The owner was wonderful and gave lots of advice and information about places to visit, restaurants, and transportation. The one drawback was that local Uber drivers have a hard time finding the property so always use the secondary address provided. We had no problem finding the property though because the instructions and video provided prior to arrival were so clear. The location is close to train stations and a small town and grocery store, which was great. Easy commute to Rome and other areas of interest. We would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Haven

Our stay in Lucia's house was just what we were looking for. We had a lot planned but wanted a quiet place to return to at the end of the day and this house fit that description perfectly. The property was beautiful, private, and spacious. The kitchen was well-appointed and Lucia went above and beyond to see that we had what we needed and was very accommodating in assisting us in arranging a driver into and out of Rome when our outings took us into the city before the train was running and back at the end of the day when we were too late for the last train back. She sent a lot of really helpful information before we arrived that helped us to feel comfortable about our stay there from the booking on. Everything was very clean. The yard is a sanctuary with olive trees and other beautiful plants and flowers and many birds singing throughout our time there. The only thing I would caution about is the driveway, as our rental car had a low profile and the undercarriage scraped along the rocks a couple of times as we drove up the driveway but there may be another parking option. I would absolutely recommend Lucia's home. It's a dream and she was an amazing host.

Perfect for a large family

Nice spacious property on the outskirts of Rome. Nice piece of land with olive trees and large yard for Italy. House has 5 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room. Bedrooms with 1, 3 or 4 beds. Perfect for our family which consisted of 12 people including 4 children. Host was very proactive and did everything needed to make things easy for us. The only negatives were that it was a bit difficult to find due to a closed road which the gps did not pick up (but not surprising in Italy). Also the house could use some updating. The host, Lucia, did everything possible to make sure everything went well. She was constantly communicating with me with all aspects of the stay even going as far as sending videos of the driving approach knowing the issues with the gps and finding the house. We took the train into Rome every day which was easy and cheap. Train station is 1.5 miles away and plenty of parking. Only cost $2 round trip. It was a 25 minute ride in an efficient, modern and clean train. Then we connected to the metro system to go to different stations. So if you need a large house with a great host and understand that the amenities may not be what you are used at home, this is a great place. Every room has air conditioning which is important in the summer in Rome. Would definitely come back.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cette très belle maison. Très bien adaptée pour une famille nous étions 11 dont 4 enfants. Très fonctionnelle avec ces 5 chambres et 3 SDB .Très bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire nous avons pu manger sur la terrasse il y avait aussi des jouets.Très bien située au calme et à proximité de la gare de la Storta reliant rapidement Rome centre . Très bon rapport qualité prix .

Schöne alte Villa mit guter Anbindung nach Rom

Ruhige Lage außerhalb von Rom. Alte Villa mit riesigen Garten mit sehr guter Bahnanbindung ins Zentrum von Rom. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche hier.

Villa molto bella e molto comoda per raggiungere il centro di Roma

Ho soggiornato in questa splendida villa insieme ad un gruppo di amici (6 adulti e 5 ragazzi) e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La villa è fedele alla descrizione e alle foto. Lucia è stata un host molto disponibile, dal momento della prenotazione fino alla nostra partenza. Siamo molto soddisfatti e la consigliamo vivamente.

Excellent Property

This property is lovely, it is a short train ride away from Rome and after a day of walking and touring Rome, it was wonderful to come back to this lovely home. The property is large and lush with olive trees, orange trees, lots of herbs and a huge yard that is very well tended. This is a beautiful area outside to just sit and relax. We had breakfast outside and started planning our day while just taking in the beautiful surroundings. Lucia is so gracious and responded very quickly to any questions I had. I would come back to this home again. Karen B.
