Lovely castle and surronding

We had a wonderful stay at Munehorre. The castle was exiting and beautiful, and very well kept with original details. The environment (garden, park, wood, river, town) was also fantastic, and we felt no need to make any further excursions except for going to the coast. We were aged 19 to 81 years, so that was really surprising! The only drawback was the internet connection. The Swedish version of VRBO web site did not state that the only possibility to connect is to use the mobile phone to share internet, and that solution didn't work so well for all of us.

Wunderbar

Ein tolles Haus in einer tollen Anlage. Je länger wir da waren, desto mehr Details sind uns aufgefallen! Alles hatte den Charme eines gewollten "Understatements" mit einem Hauch von Patina - sehr passend!!! Schöne Ausflugsziele im Umkreis von 30 km, auch ideal für Halbtagesausflüge. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super, bei der Schlüsselübergabe musste der Google-Übersetzer aufgrund unserer rudimentären Französischkenntnisse ran, aber es ging auch so...

A week in the manoir with a load of blokes on motorcycles.

The monoir is a very impressive property, great if you need a lot of space in a sucluded location. However if you are expecting all mod cons then your not going to get them... Contrary to the description there is no WIFI, and although everything in the property was usable it was all tired, also lots of flies in ground floor rooms?? overall a great place if for a big group who don't mind basic accomodation & for the price hard to beat. Would book again.

Family group

We spent one week as a family group of 13 adults 23-80 yrs and had a fabulous time. The manoir and its grounds are beautiful. We really enjoyed staying in a castle - so atmospheric! Plenty of space for everyone. Don’t expect 5* facilities (eg linen and crockery) but this can be overlooked when staying in such an amazing place. We had a roaring fire every evening- the wood lasted all week. The games room is great (not included in the advert). Thanks to madam le goff for being accommodating with check in and leaving times. Would Definitely recommend.

Just the perfect place

We’ve spent a whole week as a group of 14 friends and 1 little child. Everything was just as superb as expected. The castle is amazing, the rooms are super nice, some are smaller then others. We spent most time in the cozy kitchen. For us it was the perfect staring point for trips to Brest or Mont saint michel and to the beach. We had a very relaxing stay. the nature and nearby river tha cherry on the cake.

Magnificent

Magnificent property and grounds. Ideally located for exploring the area whether on foot, bicycle or motorcycle. Quite characterful Manor House. We have been holiday in France on motorcycles for over 20 years and this is the most impressive building we have stayed in.

Magnifique lieu

Super endroit, très spacieux, idéal pour se retrouver à plusieurs, sans se marcher dessus. Le parc est très grand et permet de se balader dans les bois pendant quelques heures.

Het kasteel, maar zeker het landgoed zijn sprookjesachtig

We hebben een geweldige week gehad in Munhorre. Het kasteel van binnen is zoals op foto's en voor ons naar verwachting: Sfeervol, beetje behelpen in keuken en badkamers, mooie grote authentieke kamers, wenteltrap, ietwat donker, leuke faciliteiten voor kinderen en jongeren, uniek verblijf. Maar wat ons echt verraste was het enorme en prachtige landgoed rondom het kasteel! We hebben er kilometers gewandeld. Genoten van de oude, verlaten gebouwtjes op het terrein, de prachtige paarden, het enorme grasveld achter het kasteel etc. We hadden prachtig weer en zijn daarom praktisch de hele week buiten geweest. Gebbqd, spelen op het gras, zonnen op het terras. Het landgoed plus de geweldige locatie in Bretagne in combinatie met het mooie weer maakte dit een fantastisch verblijf.

Fantastic holiday experience in a unique mansion

This old rural mansion set in it’s own extensive grounds was a fantastic place to stay for our large family group. While many of the rooms have been refurbished, the house retains all of its character and old world charm. This place won’t suit everyone, if you want corporate convenience and high tech modernity, forget it. It is a place where you can completely switch off and immerse yourself in the location. All of the sanitary areas and kitchen were clean on arrival but it is such a huge space that it is easy to see why the odd place has a bit of dust and a few cobwebs. One big improvement that could be made is for the beds to be already made up on arrival. Making up beds after a long journey before being able to retire at night was not a welcome chore. The only other criticism is that some of the lamps and lights in some of the bedrooms didn’t work; probably needed new bulbs, a minor oversight that didn’t detract from our enjoyment of staying in this wonderful piece of history.

Nous avons apprécié tant le manoir que les alentours. Les activités ont comblé les petits et les grands ! Randonnées, après-midi à la plage ou encore tennis dans le bourg d à côté. Top!

manoir de munehorre

Manoir qui a tout du vrai château fort parfaitement réaménagé dommages quelques détails qui aurait pu facilement être corriges gâchent un tout petit peu le quotidien comme un manque évident d éclairage dans le séjour et a l extérieur pas de toilette au r de c une seule salle d eau et wc sans cloison pour les 3ch du 2 eme étage.. heureusement que nous n'étions que 8 et pas 18 la capacité maximale.Sinon vaut vraiment le coup très typique et personnel très accueillant

Retrouvailles au manoir breton

Nous sommes un groupes de retraités de toute la France qui se sont rencontrés sur le chemin de Compostelle il y a 11 ans . Depuis , nous nous retrouvons chaque année dans une région différente afin de garder le lien et de visiter en marchant . Tous ont adoré le cadre atypique , le calme de la propriété, l'environnement . Une remarque sur l'escalier à vis de la tour : il est à déconseiller aux personnes peu mobiles ( en raisonne la hauteur des marches ) . Merci à madame Le Goff pour son accueil souriant .

Week-end famille 17 pers

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end en famille dans ce manoir. Les enfants se sont régalés de la decouverte de toutes ces pièces du château et du parc. Le soleil et la chaleur nous ont accompagné sur deux jours ! Excellent pour profiter des transats !.

Superbe sejour

Nous avons passés un superbe week-ends en familles de 14 personnes, adultes, ados, enfants. Le manoir est fais pour tout age.juste le frigot un peu juste pour 14 personnes . Le manoir est magnifique.nous recommandons le manoir. Nous avons etaient accueilli tres chaleureusement. Pour les visites nous etions a 40 minute max des côtés superbe vu et magnifique randonnée a faire pour tous ages.

Un magnifique week-end

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end dans ce lieu magique. Le manoir et son parc vous offre un instant de déconnection totale. La localisation est idéale pour visiter cette belle région et notamment la cote de granite rose. La communication avec les propriétaires ainsi que l’accueil s’est très bien passé ! Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander d’y séjourner.

Very lovely historic home

This was a lovely place to retreat to and to explore Bretagne from. The manor is very large and even more beautiful than in the photos. The grounds are lovely. Peaceful, quiet getaway place. Large kitchen. Easy to cook in. Owner was very communicative and accommodating. Would not hesitate to re-book.

COUSINADE 2022

Unanimement ravis et enchantés de notre séjour au manoir de Munehorre, magnifique découverte d'une très vieille demeure pleine d'âme où nous avons pu festoyer, rire et nous reposer. Le parc, son colombier, sa chapelle, son orangeraie, son magnifique calvaire ... un vrai bonheur. La jolie petite église de Pabu, le train qui nous a emmenés jusqu'à Pontrieux, ses quais et ses lavoirs, les rives du Trieux au Milin Kerhé... et la douceur du printemps. Nous étions 14 adultes, tous d'accord pour recommander le manoir de Munehorre. Un grand merci à Madame et Monsieur que nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer quelques semaines avant notre séjour et qui, à cette occasion, nous avaient fait visiter le Manoir. Félicitations à vous de faire vivre ce superbe domaine et de nous l'avoir ouvert aussi simplement et chaleureusement. Bravo et encore merci

Exceptionnel

C'est une experience unique de séjourner dans ce manoir. Une pause hors du temps dans un lieu exceptionnel. Le confort est simple mais le lieu est remarquable.. Nous étions un groupe de 14 amis et ce séjour restera dans nos mémoire. Un grand merci à Mme Le Goff pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse

la vie de château

Mme Le Goff qui s'occupe de l'accueil est adorable. Manoir tout à fait conforme à la description, entretenu avec goût et grand respect de son caractère. On s'y est tout de suite senti bien, la cheminée y étant certainement pour beaucoup. Le piano 1900 a assuré l'ambiance des soirées. Le parc rien qu'à lui, immense, permet une randonnée sur place, avec deux moulins dans les alentours immédiats. Le WE ne s'y est pas trop prêté pour qu'on en profite, mais la pelouse côté orangerie offre la vue la plus pittoresque sur le manoir, et on y aurait volontiers passé plus de temps. Détails pratiques, pour le chauffage, j'avais demandé un ordre de grandeur de ce à quoi il fallait s'attendre, et c'était tout à fait ce qu'on a consommé, en ce WE du premier avril où il a neigé... Les basics sont présents en cuisine, grand frigo suffisant pour 13, et nous avons utilisé le traiteur Loasis qui mérite vraiment qu'on lui fasse de la pub en passant.

Wunderbar

Ein tolles Schloss mit einem riesigen Garten. Es ist alles da, was man für einen Aufenthalt mit einer größeren Gruppe braucht. Das Schloss ist nicht luxuriös, aber charmant, stilvoll und authentisch. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, alles wunderbar. Merci beaucoup pour cette merveilleuse semaine.
