Charmig liten stuga inbÀddat i Blue Ridge Mountains ligger lÀngs den gamla Virginia Creeper Train Route pÄ landsbygden stranden av Big Horse Creek, en vÄldsam öring ström. Detta nyligen ombyggda stuga 4 bÀddar, med 1 sovrum, 1 badrum, en pull ut bÀddsoffa, ett fullt utrustat kök med alla bekvÀmligheter. Det finns ett vardagsrum dÀr gÀsterna kan koppla av, lÀsa en bok eller ta en tupplur i fÄtöljen. Stugan har en sjal runt dÀck och ett stort bord för uteservering. GÀst (er) kan slappna av, njuta av den friska bergsluften, och ta i utsikt över vattnet och ljudet av forsande strömmar nÀr de passerar. Absolutely gorgeous! Cabin was very clean and nice. Location was easy to find and so quiet. Sitting on the back porch listening to the water run over the rocks was relaxing. Hot tub was an excellent bonus. Just what my mom and I were looking for. We will be back!

Check in and out was super easy, codes and instructions were super clear from the owners. We had access to the WiFi easily and our phones had service, I can see where others wouldn’t though. It’s VERY secluded but soooo serene! We’d stay there again! Clean, comfortable and cozy! The creek in the back was the icing on the cake.

Very Nice Secluded Mountain Cabin

Rented this cabin next door to my brother and his wife renting an adjacent cabin. (Great for two families and the cabins are owned by the same owner). Has all the extras. We mostly hiked and enjoyed the outdoor fire in the evening.

This place was absolute perfection. The property was clean and the view was spectacular on the back porch. I enjoyed listening to stream while sipping my coffee in the mornings. Communication with the owner was great as they respond quickly. Loved it here and would stay again.

Mountain Get-Away

Phenomenal Experience! The cabin was clean and well stocked. The stream behind it was a peaceful sound to put one to sleep. The property was close to Boone, West Jefferson and Banner Elk. I highly recommend this property if you want to "check-out" and relax!

Heaven in Ash County

I have rented many cabins and this by far was the very best! Cabin had everything we need, super clean and decorations were outstanding. The sounds from the creek were magical. Have not sleep that good in a very long time. If you are looking for your perfect relaxing getaway this is the place for you. Can not wait to go back.

Peaceful cabin on a stream

This cabin was so cute! It had a nice porch with seating wrapped around on both sides overlooking the creek! The kitchen was fully stocked with fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and plates, etc. I think they include in description to bring paper towels, extra trash bags, etc. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family! We had a light out on the porch and they were very responsive (within minutes) of responding late on a Friday night.

Creekside serenity-Don't miss out on this!

We almost missed out on this most serene, relaxing cabin respite! Any why? Because it looked too far north of West Jefferson, where we love. But No! It's just 15 minutes north. The cabin is immaculate! Top notch hot tub on back porch with babbling creek a few feet away. Comfy cozy living area with gas fireplace, which worked great. It has a spotless kitchen with what looked to be new appliances & gas stove. The gas grill on the back porch was in good condition, and the charcoal grill in the front yard looks brand new. We worried that it was just off the main country road, but there was NO traffic. Decor was a combination of cabin and railroad train theme, very well done. Being close to the VA border, we drove up to Greyson Highlands VA State Park and hiked up to see the wild ponies. We also explored the little town of Lansing. The property has two cabins on it. We were concerned about privacy. While there was a young fisherman renting the other cabin, because of the layout, we had perfect privacy. (The creek is renouned for trout fishing.) There's a lovely front porch but we spent all our time on the back porch, soaking in the hot tub and watching and listening to the creek. There's two TV'S but I don't know why. I don't go to the mountains to watch TV. I did turn the living room TV on and it works great, with a zillion channels. I then turned it off and got in the hot tub😊. We'd like to go back with our kids and grandkids and rent both cabins!

Just as described. Check in and out very easy and straightforward. Really lovely and thoughtful space. Hearing the stream while sleeping was incredibly soothing. Hot tub was great after hiking. Very happy to have stumbled across this property during my search.

Be sure to write down codes to get keys..i had no phone reception and couldn't acess my check in code! Fortunate that couple in next door cabin called owners for me to get me in. Beautiful area and the cabin was perfect for me. Definitely a great place to unwind!

Creekside Serenity is owned and operated by Hal and Margie Kluttz from Lincolnton, NC. Hal is a retired Police Detective Lieutenant and Margie is the President of Harper Corporation of America, a manufacturing business that reconditions printing cylinders. Hal's mother was born and raised in the NC Mountains and Hal has been coming to Ashe County al his life.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Hal and Margie have been spending time in Ashe County since they were married over (30) years ago. They fell in love with the cabins along the peaceful shores of the Big Horse Creek.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Spending the summer nights listening to the water flow down the creek from our open bedroom window was relaxing beyond description. There is just so much to see and do in Ashe County. This became our home away from home.
