Pillar Point ligger 15 km väster om Watertown, NY på den vackra Ontario-sjön. Sjön vid sjön ligger vid Adams Cove, i Guffins Bay, på norra sidan av Pillar Point. Adams Cove var en gång en färjelandning och är nu ett landmärke som finns på alla New York State Maps. En off shore rådande sydväst vind gör Guffins Bay bra för båtliv och vattenskidor, eftersom vattnet är vanligtvis mycket lugnt. Lake house

We enjoyed the house. Plenty of room to relax. The docks worked great. Out of the wind and rough water. Hope to make another trip back there. Jack and his son John were great hosts.

Family time getaway

My husband and fishing buddy loves to stay here because they can dock the boat right there. He wanted to take an extra trip so I went along and our son and granddaughter joined us. I enjoyed sitting out on enclosed patio looking out at the water drinking my coffee watching the sun come up. Home had everything we needed, owner was very friendly, accommodating and easy to get ahold of when we did have a question. We will definitely continue returning for our get aways.

Family vacation 2023

The property, the yard was great for our family. Very relaxing, which was what we were looking for! The owner was friendly, accommodating and easily reachable. He made us feel very welcome. Would love to go back again sometime...maybe some family ice fishing!

my husband and his friends booked this adventure for ice fishing! everyone had a great time. Plenty of fish caught owner of the property, very accommodating, very friendly, and above and beyond accommodations.. thanks again John the guys truly had a wonderful time

Quaint and quiet

The porch provided beautiful views of the cove, especially early morning sun. We especially enjoyed the huge living room with lots of comfortable couches and chairs. Jack, the host, was fun to talk with and he made our visit quite pleasurable. Thank you, for a nice visit to the North Country!

Lovely cottage

Very relaxing stay at this lakeside cottage. Huge yard was a big plus. In a nice quiet cove. We were able to take walks or ride our bikes easily. Super easy access to boat launch and dock for our boat. Only downside was there wasn't easy action the water to swim and lots of seaweed which I know they can't control. Overall, we had a really nice stay at this cottage and the owner was very easy to communicate with.

Pictures are deceiving!

The cottage is very old and needs repair and updating. The beds were comfortable and so was the furniture in the living room. The water surrounding the dock is shallow and full of weeds so you can't fish off the dock which was disappointing. The grocery store is very far away. Good thing we brought enough supplies for the week. You can't drink the water because it comes from the lake. Make sure you bring plenty of bottled water. The boat launch is just down the street and only costs $5.00 to launch your boat. Spent time fishing from the boat launch dock. The fishing is great but you really need to know the lake because of the many rocks in it. We hit a rock the second day we were there which ruined our prop and we needed to be towed back by the US Coast Guard. We were so thankful for their help and service. The owner is very helpful and gets back to you in a reasonable time frame.

Nice lakefront cottage getaway

Myself, my dad and friend rented the cottage for a ice fishing weekend! Jack was a great host. Very happy to answer any questions and get a fire going for us. He showed us all the ins and outs and we enjoyed a nice weekend. We were able to walk right onto the lake and do some fishing out the backyard. The next days we drove to chaumont boat launch to try our luck there. The house has practically everything you need for a long weekend stay! Thanks Jack!

Excellent stay

Jack was a great host and very accommodating. Property was amazing for the kids to play football in the yard and view is incredible. Swimming was a bit difficult as boat launch is close by but docking boat was great. Would recommend staying here.

Beautiful lake house

Thank you Jack for the beautiful rental. We had a great time fishing and the porch was awesome! Beautiful lake views. Perfect for boats and kayaks. Great weather paddling around the cove. Will definitely be back!
