Välkommen till Riverdance, en reträtt vid vattnet med hisnande 270 graders utsikt över sjön Kalamazoo och floden, + naturliga våtmarker. Sprawling öppet koncept totalrenoverat '16. Poolen är öppen i slutet av maj till 1 oktober. Riverdance älskar att underhålla och koppla av. Sträck ut på en solstol för att njuta av solen eller dra sig tillbaka till den stora skärmad verandan för fågel- / båtbesiktning. Öppna alla 6 Andersen skjutdörrar för en sommarbris i både vardagsrum och familjerum. Njut av oförglömliga solnedgångar från spa-badtunnan. Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Riverdance! Beautiful setting. So peaceful and so fun to watch the wildlife. Very comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements. Already booked again! Todd was very accommodating and a great host.

Blissful retreat!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautifully decorated, spacious, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The views were incredible, and we saw lots of really cool birds. Our kids loved the hot tub, too. Fantastic communication from the host and centrally located!

Beautiful, Peaceful, Comfortable Retreat!

I can only repeat what other reviewers have said, Riverdance is a outstanding retreat! Clean, comfortable, well decorated, relaxing home that was a pleasure to be at! I made the reservation for our annual girlfriends vacation, and all loved it, especially the warm, heated pool, hot tub and comfortable seating on the screened porch, which were the places we spent the most time. The views along the river and marshes are beautiful, and as a bird enthusiast I loved watching the blue herons, sandhill cranes, egrets, swans, just to name a few highlights. It is such a peaceful, quiet location, in a lovely neighborhood, but still only 5 minutes to Douglas and 10 minutes to Saugatuck. If you are making your first trip to this area, I hope will find this area as magical as I do, so many wonderful restaurants, lots of unique shops, and fantastic art galleries, along with the water views and opportunities for outdoor adventures, make this area one of my favorite places! The owner Todd is also incredibly nice and so responsive to any questions or concerns. I would return in a heartbeat!

Fantastic house, pool, hot tub, and setting. We had an amazing time and loved this house! Everything was super clean and beautiful. The river and march area were so pretty and fun to watch all the birds, cranes, and swans. We will be back! Thanks!

Great, peaceful retreat

Our stay at Riverdance was wonderful! The home was very clean (I’m pretty picky about that), and had all of the necessary essentials. We really enjoyed the heated pool, the wildlife viewing and the serenity of the backyard. There is so much to do very close by for those days that we were able to tear ourselves away from the home! Todd is a great host, quick to reply and to address any issue. Already booked again for next year and looking forward to it!

Riverdance Exceeds Expectations

Riverdance is a very comfortable home at the end of the street in a nice neighborhood just minutes from Douglas and Saugatuck. It is nicely situated on the Kalamazoo River with lots of bird life and great views. The home is well furnished. We enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful Riverdance

We have been to several homes as rental’s and this one is one of the best!!!! Peaceful surroundings, exceptional amenities. All the beds are super comfy! On Lake Kalamazoo in a secluded area but the short drive to Saugatuk and Douglas makes the location perfect. We will be back!

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I loved the house. The layout is great and it’s very comfortable. The view of the river is beautiful and relaxing, even though the weather wasn’t the best. We lost power one night but sat and talked rather than watching TV so not a bad thing. We will definitely be back.

Definitely one to revisit!

Home and location were absolutely wonderful. Riverdance overlooks the Kalamazoo River which is home to beautiful wildlife. We enjoyed hours of fun and relaxation in the heated pool, hottub, deck, screened porch, and lounging and cooking indoors while enjoying the view outdoors. We rented kayaks for the weekend and were able to set in and out as we chose. What an awesome long weekend!

October Get-Away

We had a nice relaxing fall weekend at Riverdance with our teenage daughters. The property was exactly as described - very neat and clean. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed the views. We would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the pool as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place!

My wife and our 3 kids (+ her parents) just had an great week at Riverdance. It is clean, wonderfully decorated, and has fantastic views. The brand new pool was perfect for us. It is even better than the photos. We really could not have asked for a better experience. - Mark

Perfect

My friend and I booked Riverdance for a girls getaway and fell in love. The house is exactly as pictured, the views were so mesmerizing we hated to leave to go out and while we were out we couldn't wait to get back. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on (especially for a rental). The decor is lovely with so many tasteful details. The property contact was very responsive. We were close to shopping, hiking, wine and cidering. I have never spent that much on a rental, but it was worth every penny. I want to go back!

Stunning views, beautiful clean, comfortable home.

Could not be happier with this home. It is exactly as described, maybe better. The hot tub was great, and although we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, we all imagined it would be stunning in the warm weather to lounge about in, or around, taking in the beautiful river views, watching all the wildlife, including the swans and herons. House is very spacious, very clean, and comfortable furniture and beds. Screened porch would be great in the summer to keep bugs away, and watch sunrises. Full walls of windows make this house very bright and inviting. Great vacation rental! Thanks for sharing!!

A gem on the lake

This place has it all. It is on a corner lot with a large backyard where the heated pool, hot tub, BBQ and fire pit are. We spent lots of time in the three season room, eating meals looking out at nature. People are fishing on the lake and we saw several catches right by the property. The lake is loaded with swans. Todd is an amazing host, responded quickly to any questions and is very accommodating. The home is large and roomy. Beds are comfortable. Had whatever we needed on the property as if anticipating our needs. You will not regret choosing this property if you are looking for a beautiful escape.

Best Rental Home We Have Ever Had

We have stayed in many rental homes on vacation and this one is by far the best. First of all, the property is beautiful, even more beautiful than the listing (which is saying a lot). The wildlife near the property is so neat. Second, the home itself is very clean and well decorated. I am a neat freak and I am really grossed when the homes we stay at are not truly clean. This one was VERY clean, and you can tell the owner takes care to keep things in good repair. It was well stocked with things like dish soap, shampoo, etc which I think was really going above and beyond since most places we have rented are very stingy when it comes to those little things. Lastly, it was pretty chilly while we were there and my kids could still use the pool and hot tub. I know the listing says the pool is heated, but in the back of my mind i was doubtful it would actually be warm enough for us to swim. Well, I was wrong. It was really heated quite a bit so my kids were able to enjoy a lot of swimming despite the chilly weather. That really made a difference in the trip and we enjoyed it so much more because of that. This is an excellent stay for anyone, but I would especially recommend it for a family. We will be back at some point!

Serenity

This property has it all... a gorgeous setting that is akin to a beautiful ever changing nature portrait, a gorgeous pool & hot tub that are seamless with the surroundings, & an impeccably decorated & spotlessly clean updated home with ample community space for families to gather & wonderful nooks to sneak off for quiet time. The screen in porch is ideal for watching kayakers / boaters float by while you dine el fresco on a meal you prepared on the Weber grill. The bedrooms are good size & offer comfy beds. The washer dryer are also a convenience for keeping up on beach towels. The AC set at 72 kept the home nice & cool. I was a bit concerned about that before our arrival as I have asthma & we usually keep our AC set at 69/70 at home but this felt comparable & very comfortable. The yard is larger than it appears in photos which was wonderful for yard games. We set up croquet & kuub and still had plenty of space. There is a fire pit on site which was good size but we never got around to using it bc the screen porch was so comfortable to play boardgames in at night. The kitchen is centrally located in the home & near the backyard entertaining space. It is updated with ample granite counter space & fantastic newer (& quiet) appliances. The frig is large enough for plenty of food storage & the ice maker does work. I cannot express how serene the surroundings are...& ever changing. Two cranes greeted us in the backyard, fish jumping in the river, geese flying overhead, the reeds along the river swaying in the breeze, & the sunset (gorgeous). It really was like living in a moving picture of nature for a week. While in the area, we shopped, boated, dined, & visited with family. I always like to share unique experiences we stumble across & this trip was retro boats. They offer cute little boats fitted to look like 50s cars that you can toodle down the river in. They also offer donut boats for groups of up to 10. We did both & thoroughly enjoyed it. Check them out. For dining, check out Bowdies Chophouse & Marros? (Italian). The piano bar was adult fun. Todd was wonderful. Very responsive & accommodating to special requests. We rent an avg of 6 vacation rentals per year, all over the world, so when we give a 5 star rating, it is earned. We spent unforgettable days at Riverdance. Everything was just perfect. Todd is a very kind host and the communication between us was always kind and useful. The house is furnished with extreme good taste and with everything you could possibly need. The view of the river from the garden is amazing! We will definitely come back!

Peaceful getaway

This house was the perfect place to unwind and get away from it all! It was very clean and comfortable. The view is so great! It was nice to watch the birds in the morning. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be definitely be coming back!!!!

Unforgettable Stay!

This was our 5th stay at Riverdance and it was nothing short of magical AGAIN. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the serene setting and beautifully maintained property. The house itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The pool was an absolute highlight—perfect for cooling off during the day and enjoying peaceful evenings by the water. With the river just steps away, we spent our days soaking in the natural beauty all around us. The outdoor space is incredibly inviting, with comfortable seating, a grill, and plenty of spots to relax and take in the view. Inside, the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the living areas were cozy and comfortable for our group. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, from the fresh linens to the little extras like board games and puzzles. We truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for the perfect blend of relaxation and fun on the river!
